  1. Tbh back in the days you had more competent players when you reached a certain level, less whining, people were earning their stuff (or cyb0ring for it, which I guess is just another way of working ). Compared to today's whining and f2p, well...
  2. 60k is peanuts - good thing I reactivated my founder sub just to say "dude quit whining".
  3. Having played AO for 8 years, TSW for a good 5 months, I do feel I know a bit about the customer support they offer - and they do for most of the time actually respond to you about your issues. It's not always that you can get your issues solved but you don't in swtor neither (I got the email telling me to suck it up ). However, without GMs roaming the play fields, you don't get sitautions like in AO where GMs disband guilds by mistake (which causes said guilds to lose player owned city and bases taken through mass pvp with no restoration possible)
  4. TSW actually quite good - it just suffers the same errors that SWTOR did being the world is static and tradeskills being basicly useless. On the plus side when it comes to TSW, the need to roll multiple alts to cover the various roles (tank, healer, dps) isn't needed as you can just get more XP and train those skills. With that said, I'm seing alot of talking about f2p models. But you're forgetting the main thing - ppl are playing the games they want to not based on what f2p model allows them to unlock a shortkey bar.
  5. Just dropped by the forums to see if there were any changes...which I do not see However, the LFG tool wouldn't bring me back, its not enough by a longshot. So I'm curious how you'd know alot of people would return.
  6. What a complete load of crap. Such an amazing fanboi posts comming from the OP I'd have to wonder what BW are paying you for them - you are completely oblivious to input from others that have unsubbed/are unsubbing ruling YOUR thinking as the valid one.
  7. You're the one making a post begging people not to leave because things will be better down the road - the pvp'ers just need to roll an alt and RP/PVE a bit because if you like it, then they will, too, despite not liking it rolling their first 3 50's. So to quote yourself. Please.
  8. Why are you referring to WoW at its release? Are you really thinking that devs haven't learnt anything from the past? FYI you can thank Anarchy Online for the extensive use of instances or did TOR devs come up with that as well....just as the wow devs did?.
  9. No. Leveling to 50 is okay and then the boredom hits. Dailies, same version of the old and too long instances that you started at lvl 10 (yes, HC versions, too).
  10. That would require implementing usefull features seen elsewhere - that's a big nogo:D
  11. I hit cancel few days ago - good thing my 6 month subscription had just been billed eh:mad: Why do I quit? Insanely restricted weapon system - why can my vanguard only use assault rifles? Too long instances Inability to keybind target icons (I had "skull" bound to my ' key in wow and it worked wonders) Crafting is a leveling skill - useless at max level Dailies - did my share in WoW and they weren't fun back then neither "Bonus mission" popup on every 2nd normal mission I'm doing - at that rate it isn't a bonus, its a penalty (yes I know, you do not HAVE to do the quest - said to MMO people) Annoyingly long travel times between planets (and fleet) due to no speeders in spaceports and the numerous orbital space stations that act as inbetweens Dissappointed with planets: Hoth and Tattooine were special (and spacy), but the rest are too large and common. Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa (in small parts Taris) has a spacy feeling to it at least. In short, game felt grindy right from the beginning due to the many bonus missions that constantly pop up. The majority of the world areas feel too common - not spacy sci-fi'ish enough.
  12. For me its like: Explosive round knockdown = 100% Sticky 'nade terror = 100% Cryo 'nade terror = 100%. For some reason when other classes use abilities it does not always count as incapacitated although the mobs clearly are (other classes also have abilities with same requirements-to-use as blitz)
  13. Forgot to add to the OP: Jesus what a crybaby - go play chess - at least there's no bugs there and guaranteed equality.
  14. I do not consider my trooper to be neither broken nor buggy. Sure, there may be tweaks needed, but other than that - working as intended.
  15. And I still fail to see what this has to do with the actual game. Its not like I need to enter the precise number of active accounts in order to hit a mob. Nor do you know how long people have sub'ed for upfront. Nor do I see the relevance of this in a game forum.
