  1. What a pathetic request. People unsub, and they STILL whine as if they were subbed players!?
  2. Painfully, and unfortunately, wrong analysis of the tactics tree. Running a NORSE spec myself, and I must say it rivals AS, if not surpasses it COMPLETELY, due to the utility that is available from Hold the Line and the devastation of your pulse generator when properly employed. It's not a spec that people from IF can simply switch to and master in a day because it's a completely different play style. The mastery of tactics revolves around smart usage of Hold the Line and a solid capability to build stacks of PG and utilize your VAST mobility against other classes. You have great damage too, my fire pulse constantly crits for 3200+ and coupled with 2.2k ion pulse and stock strike crits you can dish out the damage as well as anyone else. Running HEC is a must, no idea why you chose ion cell, but I recommend against it, if you want to be a DPS tank go IF, not tactics, tactics is a DPS spec. IF's survivability is through its defense, assault's survivability is through its damage, and tactics' survivability is through its...well tactics - aka your mobility.
  3. speak for yourself my trooper has AMAZING armor
  4. I dabbled in this spec a bit before 1.2, in preparation, and I was underwhelmed by it. I ended up sticking to the good old assault spec, but I became disenchanted by the lack of mobility, and heavy use of ammo. Tactics is my dream come true, it is an AMAZING spec, and as the name implies, it is INCREDIBLY tactical. Hold the line is probably my favorite ability in the game, the resistance to movement prohibiting effects, including knockbacks, is almost overpowered when used properly. I really enjoy the sustained damage/burst available through tactics spec. It took some getting used to at first, but once you master specific ability priorities you can very easily set up burst and very rarely run out of ammo. I love this spec, and it elevated Vanguard to my favorite class. I can not play a Vanguard without this spec anymore, I hope they don't change it. The NORSE build that was posted is amazing, much better than the alternative in my opinion. Try it out guys, it's a really great spec in PVP once you learn how to use it.

    Failed Game

tl;dr, imo moot point given i enjoy the game, how can it be a fail? inb4 "you're a fail" - I mean ur
  6. as cool as it is, it's a bit silly in my opinion, because it would probably be very clumsy
  7. i personally like to go the opposite of the norm for body types, for example my scoundrel was body type 3 and my trooper is body type 2, gives your char a bit of uniqueness
  8. I find assault to have more on demand burst, but tactics is very sustained. There can be sizeable burst through the combination of fire pulse and stock strike. The nice thing is that fire pulse is instant and crits for a nice number. The real strength of tactics is the utility imo. Hold the line is amazing when used tactically (lawl) and when pulse generator finally works - slow wise - it'll be very interesting.
  9. I don't understand, is this just me? Why is the website and forums so broken? Numerous threads are completely messed up, I don't even know what it is looks like a coding error or something, and the holonet "classes" is INCOMPLETE. Do they not acknowledge these things?
  10. It is SIGNIFICANTLY easier to get commendations in 10-49 pvp. Why? I will tell you why. Say a group of high 40s decided they wanted to gear themselves out for 50, they would create a premade and decimate lowbies for days upon days until they got every piece of gear they could dream of. Now they get to 50. What do you do at 50? Well, you have all the gear already so that time sink is lost, not to mention you have no experience fighting other classes at level 50 and you'll most likely get bored within a few days because why continue playing 50? You get killed by people who have taken the time to learn how to play against other 50s, and you can't progress gear-wise because you have it all. 10-49 PVP is not representative of actual PVP at 50, because most people are level 10-20 in that bracket, and are easily killed by level 40 players who gain a false sense of "skill" by doing so. Letting people buy gear for 50, before 50, is INCREDIBLY counterintuitive.
  11. i donno, i do it all the time just because it's something to press and it's fun, i love doing it on my vanguard especially because all my abilities are instant and i like to confuse the target, also if im moving around and i spot an opportunity to utilize LOS or switch targets i can do so more fluently, i think it's a good habit to get into
  12. haha good, that hair is so bad looking! you look like justin bieber
