  1. I was just going from the info in Tempest's youtube guide ( ) saying enrage was 5min 50sec after death of dragon, which also seemed to correlate with my own experience. I haven't timed it or anything, it's all just anecdotal (ie assuming enrage timer started after the dragon died always produced better results for us). If you have timed it and are that sure, I'll gladly concede the point.
  2. I am 95% sure that the enrage timer starts after the first Kell Dragon is dead, so I wouldn't recommend blowing cooldowns in that part of the fight.
  3. Teah, no disagreement there. Though given how good snipers and juggernauts (tanks at least) are right now, someone else having the armor debuff in a group isn't that rare.
  4. Yeah, but normal parses in arsenal with KD are expected to land somewhere between 3k-3.1k aren't they? So that'd make them roughly equal all things considered.
  5. So your Odawgg's best pyro parse beats out his best arsenal parse with roughly 80dps in real world scenarios. In a spec he's not as used to... Maybe Pyro is way better off than we all thought. It's going to be bad on Styrak I guess, but other than that it seems interesting.
  6. You have to go into collections (from inventory for instance). It was a bit hard to find, since what you unlock isn't the companion, but the mercenary contract. In collections it's under Toys > Special
  7. Didn't count that because I don't know the spec well enough to know what abilities the tree has, I just knew for sure there was no armor debuff there... @odawgg: It sounds sweet for sure. When are you writing a guide on it?
  8. How much was it calculated that the armor debuff would add to dps again? If it's more than 4-5%, this would actually represent higher boss damage than your best arsenal parse...
  9. I have the same pattern on my parses, so I'd expect so. RNG is a big part of our spec unfortunately.
  10. He answered that on the previous page, you can use torparse to clip the ending of a log, you just can't alter logs manually.
  11. So would this be an example of what isn't allowed anymore? Full log uploaded, but trimmed in torparse? Not trying to single you out Carl (it was just the latest parse posted), just want a clarification. Because if this isn't allowed, a lot of parses on the board need to be removed. Also OP you should edit you rules, since the explicitly state that trimming ending is allowed.

  13. The main change I think we need is some sort of interrupt immunity in pvp. For instance, an unload with barrage procced should be uniterruptible and immune to pushback. I'd also like to see the set bonus restored to the old one. And I'd like us to get an execute style ability. But to put it all in questions: 1: Mercenaries struggle in pvp because they can be fairly easy shut down by an opponent that knows what they're doing (better now, but the problem still exists). S why are mercenaries the only ranged class without access to some sort of interrupt immunity? Snipers have it all the time (in cover) and Sorcerers have it through a cooldown, why are mercenaries singled out to not have that ability? 2: Odawwg's question is fine here 3: Why doesn't Mercenaries have any sort of execute ability or other damage boost on targets below 30%? All fairly DPS focused questions, but simply because I don't play enough as a merc healer to know what needs to be discussed there. Though our class representative need to be mindful about the healing communties questions as well.
  14. That's what the top parses are. Extremely lucky and rare affairs. They're not meant to be taken as a sign of what a character actually pulls in a fight, but trying to beat those top parses means you'll be honing your skills as well as praying for luck. Also note that some of the parses may be when the 2pc/2pc set bonus still worked, adding another 15% to the grav round crit chance.
  15. That would explain some at least. Your doing 29 attacks per minute while the one you quoted is doing over 32. So yes, doing more attacks would increase dps, but would also force you to hammer shot more often to keep a good regen rate. The high crit percentage is luck, fluctuations between individual parses fluctuate a bit even on the same char.
  16. Insanity dificulty levels, all enrage timers are cut by 30 seconds, but drops one extra piece of loot. I think that sounds pretty good, and would be the easiest way to implement something like this I think.
  17. They don't stack anymore. You can check the logs for TM crit percentage and compare it to your crit base. But since they've disabled the 2-piece/2piece, it's kinda moot right now.
