BW/EA, you've managed to destroy pvp almost entirely: 1: Decimated PvP progression: 1a: Lowered top tier gear requirements to standard comms b: Dramatically increased cap on commendations to insane levels c: created an easy way for legacy characters to trade unused commendations d: Top Tier pvp gear is pve's entry level planetary comms gear, ie 208 + expertise stat. e: Due to the above, a pvper can fully equip a character to highest tier pvp by the time he dings 65. The carrot that keeps most people playing is progression and mostly gear progression or skills progression, the type of people most loyal to this type of game are interested in improving their characters this way. By doing the above, you have almost entirely removed progression from the pvp end game. This has left me with little to no motivation to pvp in this game, and i've been here since the start. 2: Class Balance Not going to go into too many specifics, i'm sure your "metrics" show enough evidence of problems which are synonymous with boring pvp. ie the tank and healer meta has turned team pvp into an utter bore fest. the fun of pvp is not only about gear progression, objective domination but also the pvp itself, it needs to be fulfilling, and i would argue that TTK to the heavens is not helping in this regard for non tank/healer pvpers. I understand some of the rationale for your decisions, you want to make pvp more accessible and encourage more people to pvp and make it less dramatic for a new player to be faced with veteran players. the rationale is sound, but the execution if abysmal, you have over done it to the point of pointlessness, both on balance and on the accessibility. Small changes are always better than large changes and they allow you to monitor the effects without having a huge impact if the wrong direction is followed, ask Sony about SWG and the NGE. Sometimes you as developers do not know whats best for the game. Its not too late to change course and make it a fun end game experience for everyone to pvp. As for now, i sadly won't be continuing my sub and that of my son until it becomes fun for me based on the above, this is not an Iquit post, i've merely had enough and decided to express my views before i left. I will certainly be back if and when the above issues stop making it less fun for me to play, after all, i chose to play this game for my escape and entertainment from my daily working life.   2. Seriously ? i log in after work to enjoy my nightly round of pvp and all i get is the new map ? which is utter garbage, now i'm being told this is the only pvp map running today ? Oh you can **** off with your game if this is intended. Tired of all the ********.
  3. Allow all damage to break CC, in pvp CC should be used as a tactic, not a i-win button. If CC is breakable on all damage in pvp, people can still use it to stop burst buffed rotations, heal breaks, kiting resets etc etc etc etc. Imo it would make it alot more fun and less frustrating, chain CCs would still be possible to stop someone, but not to kill them while CCed.... Having said that, i have very little faith left in BW, supported this game since release, yet keep seeing pvp heading in the wrong direction. I don't quite understand how BW thinks its fun for a player to be CCed from full to death, If i'm going to die, allow me to go down fighting FFS, is it too much to ask in this game ?
  4. That's what i don't get, it looks to be pretty simple to add, especially the player vs ai version with player leaderboards, why has it not even been mentioned even though there is quite a bit of support for it, comeon Bioware add it please.
  5. Community building mini games which make use of cantinas would boost this games social aspects, one only has to see what cantinas did to SWG and they werent that functional. We need pazaak and/or other mini games. A simple addition of npc driven pazaak with player leaderboards as a start would be easy to implement imo, then it can progress to player vs player etc etc.
  6. Just seen the new E3 press, loads of new things being added, all positive, but where is pazaak, we need more social mini games, driven by cantinas ect. We need Pazaak.
  7. Sound gliches happen often for me, its very weird how certain sounds cut in and out depending how long you been logged in, zoning etc etc

Well well well, i was one of the biggest complainers about the lack of ambient sounds, and i'm pleasantly surprised you have made some inroads into adding what is a fundamental part of a living breathing world. For that i applaud your work, but more needs to be done on that front, don't stop adding them, we need more localised ambient sounds, walk near a burning wreckage, we should hear it as we walk around it, other player's footsteps, ships above, wind, sandstorms, lightening etc etc etc, please continue to add them, we need more.

  10. They dont need to be nerfed, teams need to be aware of them and play accordingly, standing there and taking hits to the face from them is not an indication of how OP they are.
  11. Congratulations , you really are a wrecking machine. Hoff not only broke 1 mil damage, but beat the second placed guy by almost 500k damage. Great healing work, great guarding aswell.

People are so sick and tired of it, that 10 million still do the hamster wheel in wow currently Alot of things wrong in swtor, but its not the gear/level grind, its a bunch of small things that make one huge thing, such as : Planets have no life, lack of proper enviromental sounds and items with various sound sources, which create a sense of a living, breathing world - Check out wow, vanguard, lotro and you see a massive difference right there. The sound of fire crackling as you walk past a fireplace, the sounds of trees in the wind, the sounds of birds, the sounds of other people's footsteps, the sounds of everything that would make you feel you playing in a living world. Lack of adequate side content to keep players interested, like indepth crafting, mini games, collections, pazaak, swoop racing, exploration, treasure hunts, fishing etc etc etc Way way too many instances, way too many loadcreens, and i don't mean the immersion ones, but the serious load screens that load you into a planet, ship,station etc etc etc. Fleet is NOT a good community hub for starwars, it feels cheap and cramped. Add clear gear progression and and in depth end game, both pve /pvp where effort is required to progress, but should remain open to casuals. There is no sense of achievement in the end game, too little gear choices, people dont feel like its even worth bothering with. Game needs more hooks, more carrots. Game needs more dynamic content !!

    MMORPGS all seem to fail in the pvp department and gear will always > skill when you have RNG involved.

  18. Medals works on and off, sometimes it works as intended, othertimes you don't get defender medals from certain places, ie they bug.
  19. Like ranged ? go PT Like melee ? go Knight/Warrior The above combos seem to deliver the most bang for the buck in fun.
  20. It was only a question of time ....before the ones that cried about the marauders/juggs realise who the king of the hill is.... Logically, when bioware created the class system, one thing on their mind is to make sure non force classes were not underpowered in any way, we experienced the much vaunted Jedi from SWG pre NGE, a class able to take on a team on players, not here, bioware made it clear early on that every class would be competitive. Powertech and their ilk deserve their time in the sun.

  22. Deception can be usefull, not much between deception and madness in the dps stakes, madness tops it, but deception is worthwhile.
