Ya Idd I do use the tool as well, it works great. The problem with these people is just, that they are unable to talk to other people. Maybe they are shy or have other problems but what they want is a button that they can click to be matched up with a random person automatically, so that they dont need to talk in the dungeon, before or after. Also keep in mind, they then get ported into the dungeon. Some are unable to open the map to see the way, ya its sad I know You will see as soon a LFG is in place, they will demand the nerf´s because it is too hard without talking.

It depends on the group. If you got people that can play, then you wont lose aggro in most situations. But if you have those wow players in your group, that want to aoe stuff down then you cant hold it as good. People just need to adjust, I hope BW does not make the game as easy like wow, it will also stop those gogogo kids from entering dungeons.

I agree! Seriously if there is something on the floor, it is shiny - red, yellow what ever then I as a tank dont stand in there. It is the basic 1:1 of tanking, but some people are just By the way, there is also a cast bar - so if you see that the boss etc. does cast something then maybe, just maybe intercept it or run away if you cant. Glad I tank myself, this is too funny

Very well put! Aslong people can decide if they want to be "measured-tracked" then go ahead and dl 1000 addons that play the game for you. But as soon an addon user can insult someone else, because he has a number which he thinks is giving him the right to be rude --> NO!

Dont think the game is too hard, heroics and FP´s you cant solo thats true but I think that is also the purpose of them. BW wants that people group up for content, not all did understand this yet Not everyone is using the LFG tool inside the game yet, which is a bit of a shame but hopefully they will soon. Only thing I find a bit sad is the fact, that you cant exchange 3 human players for 3 of your companions. So if 1 or 2 or even 3 human players are not intrested in a FP or heroic, then it would help if you could just go with your companions. Vette and I kinda solo a lot, but ya the final Champion is usually too hard

If I would be a game designer, then I would make an MMO that is not like any other. Right now BW does has a lot what other games dont have. Reasons to actually play the game. I never had any trouble at wow with getting kicked, low damage (I am a tank anyways) or whatever - but I saw how bad people got treaten by "kids" who did run these addons. I had an addon running too which did show me the amount of intercepts, damage taken etc. and believe me when I say, most of these "insulting group members" did take more damage then I did or didnt do anything else beside´s nuking. Still I couldnt do anything to "rescue" the poor healer that got kicked by the 3 dps etc. Meters are mostly used wrong, those who think they are a god because they did 30k dps are just bad´s who bring more trouble to the group than help. I wouldnt mind if they just make it harder, wow is a walk in the park anyways... Their behaivour is disturbing, they always insult those who didnt do anything wrong - showing their dps, claiming they are gods and others suck. If BW does add addons here, it will be the same result. Thats why I think that addons should be enabled or disabled by the player himself, if they are added. Those who want to be tracked can, those who wont cant. Simple solution, everyone is happy except those who use addons for insults.

I find it fun that I get instantly insulted by the elitist´s here, proves my point very well why I dont want such meters in this game. You are a great help to BW to understand our concerns, keep the insults coming!

We can still fight for a good game, without addons. I wont stop trying to state the my concerns, maybe BW is able to listen to its majority of customers, not like Blizz who did ignore them. I just want to say it again. A "I am better than you noob" meter, is fine if it is displayed at the end of a pvp battle (like today), if it is displayed at the end of a fp - but it should not be like at wow, where you get constantly flamed by little kids after the first pull of mobs. Another option is, to turn off the addon client wise. In that way a person that does not want to be tracked by addons, will not. So if a little kid wants to insult you he simply cant, as he wont receive any data from you, as you have addons disabled. The true competetive players should be fine with both solutions, those who are not are the reason why we dont want addons.

On my server the empire got instant queues at Warzones. Not sure if this is any help

Indeed BW, dont listen to the "ex wow crowd" here - and dont turn SWTOR into wow 2.0. The game is great how it is, without addons, LFG or Dual specs. Finally a game not for an elitist crowd but a game for dad´s, moms and people that manage a social life. Sure some things could be changed, id like to see more companion´s in future + the ability to take 2 at a time with me and more draw distance but overall its a lovely game and as I said, please dont turn it into wow 2.0.

First, of all is the amount of professionel players maybe 1% at wow. Why should BW design the game for them? Doesnt make any sense. Second, hostile are the elitist players and not the casuals. Did you even read a bit at the forums? The elitist demands, demands, demands - all they do since day 1 is demand. They want to adjust the game so that they can do their thing, they dont care a bit about the other 99% and their ability to have fun. Addons, LFG, Dual Spec etc. all these "pro tools" destroy a lot for those who just want to play for fun, because they get insulted by elitist´s all the time. Look at wow, look how great wow at vanilla was and how bad it became since wotlk. Third, if BW is smart then they wont make a second wow. What the MMO community does need is an MMO for adults, people that just play the game and dont have a job in it. If they manage SWTOR will be successfull, if they dont it will die like every other MMO that came after wow and did copy it.

I hope they dont add it, its a pain at wow - like explained millions of times.

Klar ist die engine und der Treiber support nicht optimal, aber man kann SWTOR perfekt spielen nur man braucht eben moderne Hardware und nicht die von vor 5 Jahren. Thats the attitude I dont like. I have to say I never ever got kicked from a dungeon in wow, but I saw many people getting kicked, my veto didnt matter .... Why does the healer get kicked, if 3 dps stand in fire? He did nothing wrong, still he will be kicked as they died and blame him / her. Same does apply to tanks, who lose aggro if the pyro mage nukes before the tank is even in range of the mob. To assume that people get kicked because they are bad is wrong. I have seen people getting kicked because they didnt do 15k dps few weeks after release of cata. We did those heroics with 8-9kdps at release (numbers dont need to be 100% correct but you get the point I hope). A mother once had to open the door for her kid, she got kicked... And even if someone is new to the game and doesnt know better, why not help him? Is it so hard to tell him what he did wrong? Ah right, you dont want to talk in a game... its easier to hit a button, I know I could go on with giving you reasons why such a tool is bad, but I see that you are blind and dont want to see any of them. So I am holding my breath for now, and wish you well.

Do you really think you could find a group, if you are rude and steal loot? In wow such people got listed on a blacklist and had no chance of ever setting a feet into a dungeon again. At LFG tool it doesnt matter, millions of people play - you always find someone to rob.

I find it funny how you LFG people can only insult others that dont agree with you. Did you ever think about the fact, that exactly this is the reason why you dont find people? Your attitude and rude behaivour? I can definately say that I dont have problems with the social life outside of this game, nor inside. It is wrong of you to think that those who like to talk with others in a game, are somekind of animal sitting in their room 24/7.

If you ask high lvl´s for runs, then you will never find friends on your server. I also dont think that my current server is the only one with a growing community. I see people asking for groups all the time, it is not hard to find people - you just need to open your mouth. I did never have any trouble with finding a group in classic or TBC at wow either, no matter if on lvl 60,70 or below. You will find people fast if you want to. I allready know quite a few guys on my current server just from doing some warzones. Some others asked me if I wanted to group, because they saw my LFG comment in the social window. People dont need a xrealm tool that puts them together with strangers, this is the worst addition to an MMO ever and it is taking so much away from the game, you can just aswell play Skyrim then... The game is out 1 day and people allready know that they dont find groups, they allready know that they cant do dungeons without dps meters..... guys this is silly. Play the game first, and in 1 year we can talk about it.

Ok it is an success that people randomly insult others in such groups? It is an success that people randomly kick others in such groups because of loot, dps meters....? That people ninja every item they can get, while those who need it cant get it? A success that nobody talks in such groups anymore, that the game feels like a singleplayer game now? Dude your definition of success is kinda funny, but sad too.

True its great fun. I am not a dps but I know that many dps do silly mistakes because they feel pushed to top dps meters, as they are afraid to be kicked if they dont. For me as tank this is kinda annoying, so I do support it that we dont have such tools in the game.

I think the game is great. I did hate Blizzard for what they did to wow. Addons, LFG, easymode, Arena.... At SWTOR I do feel like I did at vanilla, happy. Hopefully BW does not try to copy wow, they got a great game and they should stick to it. Soon the wow fanboys will leave and go back, then all the LFG, Addon demanding stuff will stop and we can finally talk about the game in this forum.

Go play wow a few weeks and you know why it is a bad idea to implement such a tool. Vanila wow --> best MMO ever (together with ultima), WOTLK wow ---> worst MMO ever.

The game is fine, if you want to play wow go there and stop trying to turn swtor into another wow.

+++ Story, amount of classes, companions, quests never boring, not too many quest´s at a time, nice atmosphere, game runs very smooth with 100 fps on max details, no addons allowed, no LFG tool, characters look nice, voice acting, game is actually very challanging, I can hardly do the 2men heroics alone - mostly need help of another player and his companion, Tank in pvp can actually protect his team ---- Cant turn on AA, if I do my lightsaber does disappear, cant max the graphic settings like draw distance for tree´s and grass (it just pops up), Error 9000, community that does demand a second wow, with addons, LFG and general boredom, no information about a patch that is fixing the AA and pop up problem, can only take 1 companion with me at a time, as a tank I would like to have a healer + dps but I can only take 1 of them I definately consider playing this game for a longer time, it all depends on how the community will handle the game. If it turns into another wow, then I am out. I am just sick of those young kids with Gearscore, dps - healing meters and xrealms.
