  1. I think (assume) he is referring to the suggestion that we were to be able to acquire schematics for reverse engineering world drop items. Which doesn't seem to be the case. I can however reverse engineer world drops and receive a negligible amount of crafting materials however, which hardly seems worth it when I can vendor them for more than the mats are worth.
  2. Just going to quote this from the other thread that is still on the front page here... http://www.swtor.com/community/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=4056391
  3. I've seen a developer message about this before, which he said that this is a future goal, but MUCH further down the road.
  4. This is absolutely correct. Thank you. Vanity pets are optional, if you really want one that badly buy it from him. If you can't afford one, learn to click faster. There is a four hour timer for the express reason of making it limited and challenging to get. Otherwise this would be on a 10 second timer.
  5. It only takes about a week to level from 1-50. Why would they allow people to flip flop and ruin the entire idea they have about leveling alts instead of playing one single character? The legacy system isn't really supportive of single character play.
  6. I agree on almost every point you've made. I love this game, but these issues definitely have it lacking. Great post, and great ideas. These are the issues, and you have clearly supported with suggestions on how to fix it. I just hope they are reading this.
  7. You know using " / " (divide) key on your number pad toggles on and off walk speed. This doesn't turn sprint off, it just makes you temporarily walk, and back to sprint when you hit it again.
  8. After watching a few videos, I suppose this doesn't seem to be an issue for the Republic side as their reticules are blue reflecting their faction symbol. Whereas Imperial reticules are red reflecting the Empire symbol. Blue would be a fine adjustment too, just to even out the playing field there.
  9. Vanity pets aren't exactly meant for everyone. If they are on 4 hours timers, it's obvious that the developers meant for only a few people to get one, and have to fight over who gets it. It's all part of the fun of getting it, and the bragging rights of having it.
  10. So far we've done fine as is, but in Operations which are already melee punishing, our tanks and melee are taking completely unnecessary damage from enemy AoE abilities that just simply aren't seen because friendly AoE abilities are the same color. How about a change in color of friendly reticules? Possibly the universal color for safe: Green? Another possible solution is to just make AoE reticules only visible to the caster, and only while positioning it. ( Like other MMo's) The general idea of red reticules is: "Don't stand in the sh*t!", so people immediately start moving away from reticules. However, quite often those reticules are for AoE heal abilities or friendly AoE which the tank should be keeping in the area of effect. This just seems like a needless obstacle for operation groups to deal with, and has the potential to significantly change the load that healers are carrying. If anyone from Bioware ever reads this; Thanks!
  11. So far I like it. It's definitely more modern looking, and simpler by all means. Any chance at getting an option to scale it down a bit? It's rather large, especially for lower resolutions.
  12. Can't you please just be grateful that they are spending so much time and effort on updates? For Christ's sake, you people whine and snivel at every little thing, and it gets old. Go play some dieing MMo that refuses to ever update if you want a stagnant game play with never changing features. This is the kind of zeal that keeps MMos afloat, and Bioware has pretty much refunded every cent you've spent on this game in the way of free game time, and FREE content updates. Quit ************ about free stuff.
  13. Who would they be selling to? Rich players are sellers. So the rich people aren't going to buy these to sell to other rich people, because those rich people are sellers too, not buyers. They have everything they need. Makes no sense for rich people to buy these just for the sake of having them to post items no one will buy, because the people who would be buying items are on the fleet using the free faction based GTN they can afford to use.
  14. It's a legacy unlock in your legacy "Other" Tab.
  15. Why would more and more people buy a useless GTN? You're missing the point. Very few people will buy it as is.
