  1. I think this sounds like a pretty awesome idea, and I for one would definitely be up for it. Sadly my Sith is a little one (level 15) and I haven't thought up any sort of story for 'em...
  2. I recently came back but wow... that kills ranked for me. What a terrible idea.
  3. It is actually explained the Darth Bane books that dual-wielding lightsabers is the strongest of saber forms. Lore-wise anyway.

    Wait a minute...

Did I read correctly somewhere that Ranked is nothing but 4v4s now?
  5. I've been thinking about taking my tank into the PvP scene, and with enough comms to scoop up good relics, was just trying to figure out the best defense augments when I bumped into a few threads that had some interesting information. I read that the PvP Tank gear is really more of a joke, since a ton of Tank mitigation is, for the greater part, ignored in PvP. People have said just run DPS and use taunts, others have said get the tank tree for the DR but then rock the DPS gear for the increased whoopings. I'm just really confused on the whole process, from reading stuff I would almost think I'd want to go for the DPS gear and later down the road swap the Armorings for the Endurance-Priority ones so I at least feel somewhat like a tank. However, I don't know if what I was reading is true or not, so I was hoping some folks would be willing to shed some light on this for me. ^^'

  7. Perhaps its my times? Well that sounds like we've got a good channel already set up, we just have to start spreading the word about the channel and get more folks queueing up together. I'm definitely encouraging the premades to break down into possibly two groups of four (and queue separately, not together) to get some power back in the Republic's punch, and hopefully break down into four pairs to keep an eye out for folks who may just need a helping hand at understanding the mechanics and how best to gear for PVP.
  8. Simply terminology utilized for folks to get the drift of the two different walks of life. /enemies is an odd name for the channel, but then again it is a movement that the entire server has to help with. I've sat in the /enemies channel before and never heard a peep, fresh tends to help, however I'm all ears if folks say we just use it. I figured a channel like /prosandjoes or /pvphelp or something where people kind of understand the purpose of said channel.
  9. I've been quiet for a while now to see what everyone has to say and there are a few points I would like to make. 1) Outcomped is not a thing. Have you ever heard of Alpha Company on Jung Ma? All troopers and scoundrels, but they win warzones time and again just thanks to their great tactics and teamwork. 2) Premades. They aren't going anywhere anytime, people like to win and they help them win. However, the mistake most people make is that they don't expand those premade groups. Its nice to get together and run with buddies to win and get your gear, but especially for those who are 2018'd out, there's not much to do at that point but PvP for some laughs. Why not grab a guy you see in a warzone and teach him a thing or two. Don't yell at him or make fun of 'em, just lend a hand. This doesn't just include in the warzone either, once the Victory and Defeat have been handed out, work with them outside the PvP to get them into fighting shape. Then just ask them to pay it forward when they become more experienced. 3) Channels. So a guild typically works better, but most folks for RP already have their places and Channels lets everyone keep their families and just make a new one. We could make a channel where the Pros can hang out, and the Scrubs can come to hear from the Pros, and queue with the Pros for some real lessons since there's no real consequence for a 2018 to lose a warzone (they got their comms) and in the long run, people can pick up tips from them. We can even have a Blacklist for marking people that have asked for help and then ignored all the advice and guidance of the Pros who tried to help them in warzones and out. These are just a few ideas. I've got another idea to bring some WRPPvP back to this server, but I'm going to keep that underwraps until I get it all figured out.
  10. The ones that have the knife and the bootgun on them. If anyone is able to make them, please post here and state how much you charge for a copy. They'll round out my RP outfit perfectly, and I'm disheartened to see mine have somehow disappeared.
  11. I absolutely agree too, so I posted the thread again and I advise you to take what you had to say folks and post it there again so we can continue where we left off. If you make a big post, try to save it somewhere in case it disappears again. So we can post again.
  12. So the old one was deleted and I can't understand for the life of me why. Quite a few people are asking questions, which means this did stick in some peoples' heads. Back to what we were saying: The Imps own this server. No doubt about it. A lot of rerolled Imp when things were hard and we got frustrated, and some just never played Pub. But seriously the entire server is basically Imp on Imp action and it is definitely time to bring the Republic back. I'm all for it, and I'm curious to see who is serious about putting the fear back in some Imps? NOTE: Delete and I'll make it again, I've always felt strongly about this and Bigglesworth had the right idea to bring it here.
  13. What if you're working your way to that point and just want to know what is the best to buy with your Basic comms?
  14. Tanking isn't fun? My dear fellow, nothing in this game comes half as close to the fun I get out of tanking. I was one of the very first to heal with a Scoundrel before it became FOTM and that was challenging, but when they boosted them to where they are in patches I had to abandon ship to avoid playing Health Bar Whack-A-Mole. That was how I found tanking, and I will NEVER go back. You can things quick? Opps, watch out for those attacks taking chunks of your healthbar. Me? I'm not backing down from that frontal cleave you got BossMan, bring it and everyone else can watch as I pro-kite Kephess around and win the Final phase of ECHM for ya. Nothing like tanking bud.
