  1. The very most dominant guild I have ever known on this server is <Game Genie> as Sindol suggested. They were completely unbeatable against any other team for a long period of time. They eventually merged, xferred and disappeared. Anyone to argue that would be delusional or just not aware of the server's history. <Guerrilla> did have its day in the sun at one time, as did <Zen>, <Hex>, <Project Mayhem>, <Shots Fired> and more recently <Good Talk>. There are many others as well and I apologize if I left any out.<Core> has always been a force to be reckoned with and of the great pvp guilds of old they are about the only left somewhat intact. Its a question of time period on the server and with all of the evolutions that there have been of the game. Right now,t here are several good smaller guilds kicking around now as well, but none that stand out as a truly dominant guild like we have seen in eh past. The pubs did "rule the roost" for a the past bit, but with several transfers to other servers as of late, I am not so sure there really is a dominant faction on the Ebon hawk at the moment.
  2. Thanks for the post........I'm just not sure of the intent is all. Are you looking for critiques or pointers on your gameplay, or was this purely to direct people to your youtube site?
  3. You need to RE them to learn the schematics.
  4. I made it in from camp and managed to roll some WZs last night. Shout out to the operative last night that our pub group found was sniping people throughout an entire huttball match: His team lost............
  5. Whiskey be out at camp for most of this month so i won't be around much til September. I wanted to give a shout to everyone on TEH pvping these days. The past few days I have seen old names and tags from the past, meaning folks are returning, lots of new faces and tags which include some skilled players. Imp side have been stepping up more lately and I have been in some real quality matches the past few nights. (Tips hat) cheers to y'all from the dark jungles of northern Canada!
  6. Some good games last night. I was on my Mando for a few hours and came up against you guys several times. The only match we lost though all evening was a stalemate VS. you guys must have been queuing more earlier in the evening to get that win streak There were a handful of hard hitting snipers last night that hurt when they could coordinate attacks.
  7. OP has no idea at all what a toxic community is in my opinion. As others have already stated, TEH has one of the, if not the least toxic community in this game. Try some of the other servers and you will come to the same conclusion very quickly.
  8. Not sure I agree with Flavius either tbh. I would argue that Pubside generally dominates the midbie bracket because there are some good guilds rolling premades in the bracket regularly, but 60s is very hit and miss depending on when you are playing and who is playing at the time. I wouldnt say 60s is dominated by either faction on the server atm.
  9. Whats this about cookies? Details m8. Chocolate chip? Oatmeal Raisin? Double Fudge?
  10. I'm in total agreement. That's one nice thing though about TEH, as I eluded to previously this server is far less toxic that many others. There are a few reverses that cracks out their epeens because they can put up some numbers with an OP class/spec and a few that think they are good because they can win some single reg WZ with 7 of their mates and against a crew of pugs, etc etc but those occurrences are very few and far between in my experiences. Those folks don't tend to shoot their mouths off long either as they tend to get their comeupins within a few WZs;)
  11. That deserves a bag o' popcorn and a beer. (Canadian beer of course). This thread just picked up a notch.
  12. I didn't mean pvpers group up exclusively. I only was speaking in general terms. I often solo queue as well. I think you will see some folks back come 3.3 and a definite game revival when the expansion drops. May be only for a short time, but people will be back to check it out. Guerrilla has a handful back playing. Usually only one or two of us, but the past week or so we have had groups up to 4. Real talk is around as well. Just not in numbers either. Both guilds have toons pub side, so playing both factions.
  13. Agreed for the most part. You are getting bad draws. Regardless of which faction you are queuing, it has a lot to do with how you are queuing too. At 60 it's generally the same folks; depends on who is queuing, what faction, when. All the things others have stated already. For midbies, it has a bit to do with whether you are queuing solo or in a group too. I am playing some midbies both factions. If I queue solo, I end up with people and guilds I have never heard of and usually get facerolled because most "pvpers" tend to queue midbies as a group. When I queue as part of a 4some, I notice we usually get paired with another 4some and are the ones doing the face rolling. So it's quite often 8 random folks rolling against a super queue or at least 2 x 4 group queue. I hope that all made sense.
  14. Meh, you know what, the average player on TEH is just as good as the average player on any other server. In some cases, I would say it's fair to state the average talent is actually better here than some of the others. The main difference being that the flavour on pvp servers is to ignore objectives and just Deathmatch. Annoying if you are an objective- based player. The only area I concur with you guys is in the top end. No question that the top guilds of the pvp servers are superior to any of the top guilds around here. Clear case of the grass not always being greener on the other side. Some folks move just for a change of scenery; others because they feel TEH sucks. I have played on other servers just like many of you have. I redirected my focus back not for any other reason than I like the generally non- toxic environment of TEH and I missed the folks on this server.
  15. True enough. There are a handful of republic rooted, pvp guilds out there. <the core> and <republic> would come to mind for sure. Khryn is partially correct though. Between imperial rerolls, many people leaving the game and an influx of new folks to the server from POT5, bastion, etc. the tides have significantly turned the past while. Keep in mind that it wasn't much more than a year ago that I posted a thread here indicating that republic faction pvp was dying. That was based on observations and some really good conversations I had with Sevrin. Both <core> and <republic> were active at that time. I don't think khryn was questioning the skill or abilities of historically republic players, but it is a different world now from a year or so ago, no question.
