Trauma Probe was (arguably) given a buff in 2.6. I am mad about the reduction in charges but that was to allow for a reduced cost, multi-target, and slightly greater healing. I think you could say that this is an improvement.

I don't play my Scout much, but it's fun to switch from Strike Fighter occasionally. The problem is that I am terrible at using rocket pods. I fire at the lead marker (not the ship itself, like some people), and I am in range, but I still end up missing. Any suggestions?

My Sniper dies a lot. I"m not sure if it's my fault but I'm in Tionese and can kill a Strong of my level in about 5 seconds (from the first shot fired). Kaliyo is in pretty lame gear although she has two or three Tionese pieces. I wasn't able to gear her on Corellia due to a plot twist (trying to avoid spoilers). Do I need to gear her more, does she suck, or do I suck? (Note: She has about 18k health at level 53.)

Republic bomber looks a bit funky, but I think it'll add a fun new element if it's been balanced right.

Partisan gear looks great... I hate the other kind that makes you some generic astronaut.

This ENTIRE patch is geared towards end game, adding on new content for level 50s to go up to 55. This is exactly the character progression you were talking about! More PvP and PvE will be added later. Patience is key, not just to MMOs, but to everything.

I agree that you should take the Combat Medic tree first. I have a few basic rules for healing Commandos in FPs or Heroics: -Pretty much spam Hammer Shot until other abilities are needed -Use Advanced Medical Probe first, before the regular, when a target's health or expected health is at < 80% -Use AMP (AP) instead of Medical Probe on yourself or a DPS -Use Medical Probe mainly on tanks -Layer Hammer Shot in between major heals The rest of your idea was good, though I recommend moving points from the Alacrity boost into other talents, as it seems something I'd rarely ever use. Note that my Commando is only 21, though I just healed for Athiss twice, Hammer Station once, and a Taris heroic today.

Maybe you need to gear up Doc more. As a tank-spec'd Guardian, I often had to ask friends or guildies for help with large groups or elites. I do suggest using Hilt Strike, as it's a fairly long stun. Use Blade Storm often. I have a build that gives me tons of Focus so I use Blade Storm for the Blade Barrier buff. Also, use Sundering Strike often. It is one of the main move in my rotation because it generates Focus, does a good amount of damage, and puts on a 4% armor reduction per stack, but my build lets my Sundering Strike add 2 stacks at the same time.

I just love melee tanks. You get to wail on someone with a big stick and not really worry about dying (with my Guardian).

You've possibly thought this before: What the heck am I supposed to use to DPS until level 20? This isn't some huge guide, just a brief chain of ideas that I"ve used and are very effective. Groups: Target Priority: 1. KIll the healer first, if any. Interrupt and/or stun. 2. Kill the weakest next, so there are less things trying to kill you. 3. Use AoE while killing the next strongest, and work up to the strongest. Ability Priority (make sure to layer in Hammer Shot in between each ability): 1. Sticky Grenade: Throw it at the highest on the priority list, or the enemy in the center of the group. 2. Charged Bolts: Use on the biggest in the group, or a healer. 3. Explosive Round > High Impact Bolt: Use this combo to dispatch weaker enemies. 4. Full Auto: Use on medium to high-health targets.

Now we can't do Ops without subscribing? Oh well... Hopefully the fact that all my friends will play now will counteract this...

Just curious because I looked it up on Torhead and it said "1". I can't wait to be a Vanguard tank!
