Hey Troopers - I am having a hard time finding current info for pve CM leveling. Most things I find appear to be outdated somewhat so I took a stab at it myself based on what I could piece together. Problem is, I am no theory crafter and I am no min/maxer so I do not have great confidence in what I am doing lol Anyway, I am looking at this build - http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800rfRMRbcdkczZrckz.2 My main concept is: - Starting points all in Gunnery first, then going up Medic to 31. - Running with Aric until 4x is available - My dps rotations will be making liberal use of bolts and hammer shots on single targets and grenades, bolts, hammer shots etc on multiples. - Support Cell I am still learning mechanics of how kolto bombs etc work so this is all just a starting point. How am I doing so far?

Thanks for the replies. From the info I have been able to piece together, I started with 10 into vengeance anyway so it doesn't feel gimped yet. As for going LS with Vette, it seems kind of counter to my personality but I am giving it a go. I went all DS on a trooper once and actually liked the class a whole lot more than when I tried with LS

How much frustration am I in for if I just level up Immortal? I am not a speed leveler and I am not much of a multi-tasker so I am not interested in micro-managing timers and cool downs.

Thanks gang! Its good to hear that slicing is still somewhat viable. While I think my BH is now retired, he can still run his money laundering front out of his ship! Good! I have never been all that great at playing the GTN game and crafting in my early life seems counter productive.

So I know all about the big slicing nerf way back in the old old republic times. I was fine with that because I actually sliced in the wild with my BH. However, I am coming back to the dark side but I am rolling with a new class this time around. I was planning on setting my BH up as my money maker, running his illicit empire from the comfort of his ship. I know lockbox missions are not the way to go these days, but does slicing return anything that is worth keeping the skill maxed for selling on GTN?
