  1. Well there really isn't a 'wrong' way to do it. Just as the OP states, he completed the mission without any problem nor consequences in his choices. I don't see how bringing Pierce would make life easier though, Bright_ephemira even stated that he/Jaesa lost the landing pad. I mean wouldn't quite call fighting a few more trash mobs hard but still. Also, it's been a while since I did this mission but wasn't Malavi not quite keen on Vette taking the Turrets? I thought that part of his praise was an apology for not believing in me and my decision to let Vette do it. I could be mistaken though.
  2. Yeah you're right sorry didn't mean to suggest otherwise. You do have to stop moving to cast the big heals and I didn't say never, just rarely. In a pinch and/or if the other team is leaving me alone to free cast I have been known to use the raid frames from time to time. Well all of those you can cast while moving, those abilities are mostly what I had in mind when I think of healing on the run. ---------------- EDIT: With this convo in mind it's also the reason I dislike when people bring pets into WZ's. It messes up the target next ally rotation.
  3. What Dmasterr said. I rarely use the raid frames for targeting. I run/move exclusively with the mouse so clicking isn't an option because the pointer is never visible (or I would have to stop moving to target someone). I found the easiest way is to keybind the button above tab (~) to cycle next ally. Shift ~ for nearest and Ctrl ~ for previous.
  4. It's been a while but this is the one on Taris right? Yeah, you should have sent Vette to navigate the mine field in order to get to the turrets (she's quick, she has cunning, she's a slicer, etc), Pierce should go to the landing pad (he's the big spec-ops tank) and you take Jaesa with you. Malavi stays behind and 'coordinates' as the officer. At the end of the instance Malavi will approach you and tell you what an excellent choice you made sending Vette to navigate the minefield. That's probably the only difference, that small exchange with Malavi so don't sweat it. I think that it was just a fun RP type of side where you try and identify what role each of your companions play and match their strengths to each job.
