    did you just ask how Operatives can burst them down so easily? Are you kidding me? you have got to be a troll.

    Stun and fun.

    simple fix.... all forms of CC need to affect the resolve bar. Yes i am talking ALL forms of CC, roots, snares, mezzes, stuns. One of the biggest advantages ranged classes have is that snares and roots are off the resolve chart, both of those abilities might as well be stuns on a melee class. Theres a reason i rarely ever play my Jugg anymore.
  7. really? Operatives are currently broken! Half the people in this forum cried to no end when they were level 3x fighting against a 50 Op in champ gear which ended up getting them nerfed into the f'ing ground. If you get killed by an Op, you pretty much suck.

  9. All the Republic gear except the smuggler looked great, on the Sith side the Inquisitor and BH looked good except for the helmet. Agent? Really? just looked like orange rakata
  10. On both my characters i just pvp'd for Cent/Champ gear and once i was geared with that started rolling into HM FP's and Ops... you know the rest from there. Worked fine for me.

  13. Wow had a huge following already because of the success of the WC rts games. granted SWTOR had at its core... Star Wars.... of all things, but the game itself had no history to already have people excited for, unless you count the KOTOR games in that. SWTOR is a good game, not a great game, just a good game, and it has enough to keep me around. Granted i would love to see some improvments, like a Dungeon Finder and a better GTN, but its still a good game.

  15. its Warhmmer 2.0, opened to many servers at launch. Its like they let the mythic guys plan this launch as well.
  16. prolly the same one who did it to Warhammer. As much as i love this game, and i really do, the launch has reminded me so much of WAR its not even funny.
  17. I think its because you have a good number of imp's rerolling to Republic because of the faction balance issue. If you were rerolling what would you play? A class that takes alot of work to play well or a faceroll class that has every tool gift wrapped for them? I finally got around to rolling a Pub alt on my server, a sawbones scoundrel. Pretty much every wz i am in consists of 4-5 consular classes 2-3 trooper classes, and me.... it kinda makes me laugh a bit because when those classes get their rounds of nerfs, and they WILL its gonna be fun to watch the tears flow. tldr; bads always play the fotm class.
  18. I definately like that idea... because you are right, having to slow the dps just to account for that fight design is just silly.
  19. The single part of the legacy system that bothers me is that we still have no idea what is going to be included or how its going to be included. For instance i would really love to have a Tugrota or Cathra character, if these become availible later without a race change option it would really suck. I have both the classes i want to play at 50 and i love playing them, however i would kill to be either of those races instead of my typical human style races
  20. read what i said, i agree with you. I Hope its not like that, but we have all played multiple MMO's and have a good idea of "time spent" to earn perks. Neither of my 50's are grossly geared, my juggernaut was first, hes in full champ gear and has some Tionese/columi stuff for pve. my Operative just recently hit 50 and has some champ/cent gear and some columi gear from a couple of raids. I used my time to get the 2 classes i wanted to play to 50 right away, which its honestly NOT hard to get to 50, and now that i have them both at 50 i am doing more endgame stuff. I think legacy level 5 would be a good starting point for benefits.
  21. legacy level 19 here, thats with 2 50's and a few alts under 20. i am really worried its gonna take high legacy levels to have anything worthwhile. We were recently talking about the legacy system in our guild and we all pretty much agreed with the amount of time those of us with multiple 50's have in the game that legacy level 20 or so will probably be the STARTING point to see any real benefits. I really hope BW makes a sane decision with how to implement legacy and doesnt require insane amounts of playing time to see the benefits of it.
  22. God forbid we make friends on other servers.... yup that would COMPLETELY destroy the game! It worked great for me in WoW whether i was tanking or healing, i did randoms every night and most of the time i would run into the same people, we would chat during groups, have fun and get to know each other. Other times people would be happy to see me on either of my classes because they knew i knew *** i was doing, especially on my tank. I even made an alt on a different server because i kept running into a husband and wife couple who i enjoyed playing with. Thats definitely not good for the game community, amiright? So tell me again, how does meeting new people break the community?
  23. the only way i would ever look at alacrity is if it made our STUPIDLY slow ticking HoT's tick faster, but since it doesn't it has been modded out of all my gear in favor of crit>power>surge
  24. run dailies for a couple days, get mods... check run pvp for a few days, get some champ/cent gear... check you are now safe to do hardmodes on any class, whats the problem here? You act like hardmodes are actually hard?
