They've already trashed the lore enough in this game, I don't think they would go so far as to give everyone Corellian Bloodstripe's.

I've got a tank, a healer, and a DPS all at 50 and dont have any problems finding groups. As for lvling content your better off looking for a group on the planet instead of on fleet. Most of the ppl that want to do lvling content are going to be on the planet with the content and if your looking for an FP, well I dont know about your server but mine I see low lvl FP's going all the time, but I dont lvl in FP's personally so I couldnt say exactly how long they take

If you cant find a group then I think its probably cuz you've been labeled as a baddie. I've got 3 50's and in the last week I've ran all the OPs on each of them SM&HM and more FP's than I care to remember

Maybe you should take advantage of the server transfers going on right now. Improved the game by 200% for me

It all depends on the FP that we're running, if we're running HM BT, BP, or Foundry then yes I'm gonna require that they spacebar the cutscenes. Why? because these can all be soloed in under 10 min by yourself on Storymode and the story doesnt change. Why should I have to sit around for an hr just because they havent seen the story before. Now if we're talking something like D7, BI, or any of the other lvl 50 instances that require a group even in storymode then no I dont have a problem with someone watching the cutscenes as long as the rest of the group is okay with it.

Did you log on just as the servers came backup? I was on just before the servers went down for maint and there was 50+ on Pub fleet

Are you really mad at BW or do you just wanna jump on the "Its cool to hate BW bandwagon"? I'm genuinely curious because no matter what they do to make ppl happy, you all just keep paying for your sub and ************ that they aren't doing it right.

You know I see so many ppl who are completely missing the point of this post, we're not asking that a brand new never subscribed character get priority over a inactive account. Even I have to agree that would be asinine, there is no way that a brand new character should ever have priority over an older character. What we're talking about here (and I include myself even though I've never posted here but I have in other threads) is someone who has been subbed and paying for there account for the last 6 months over someone who canceled their sub 10 days into launch and may or may not be coming back. Me personally, while I don't care about my character names i do care about my Legacy name. I've created all my characters around my specific legacy name going as far as to limit myself to specific races with certain skin tones. Now I know that there are extenuating circumstances that cause ppl to unsub, i.e. Military deployment, Moving, Job, GF, and many other things, but at the same time there are ways to mitigate these issues. First and foremost in my mind being a simple email sent to the user saying something along the lines of "Hey someone is challenging your characters name, Please respond" would be a very easy way of determining if someone is coming back. If there is no response to the email in say 30 days than the person who submitted the ticket gets the new name provided that other conditions are met. If your worried about someone abusing the system then limit the time that they can submit the ticket i.e. 10 days after server transfer for only the first phase of transfers. Now granted this is not going to solve the problem 100% of the time, but even if your deployed you'll still have access to your email in that 30days time to reply and say "I'm deployed but Im coming back". If you think I'm bull*******, I'm not I've got friends currently deployed in Iraq and Korea who have daily and weekly access to the internet. Again not gonna work for everyone but for the majority of ppl a system like this would work perfectly fine.

I would be that they are already working on it since they have added the Field Respec to 1.3. Probably by 1.4 it'll be released

I've got a question that hopefully someone can answer about the Legacy names. I've got a fairly popular legacy name, thats probably already been taken on all the servers. If I transfer servers and the legacy name has been taken by an inactive account is there anyway that I can lay claim to this legacy name since I'm still paying for my subscription and they have quit the game? The legacy is something that I always found really cool and I've built all my characters up around this name, even going as far as limiting myself to specific races with certain skin tones, and I would hate to have all that go to waste just because someone who played for a month then decided they didnt like the game picked the right server at launch.

I applied for the character transfer to PTS with one of my toons but how do I know if it went through? Do i just have to wait til the PTS is up and login? Should I have received and email about it?

No offence to your uncle but using Symantec on a stand alone Desktop is a bad idea, especially on older systems. The resource footprint of Symantec is HUGE. It can be done in a corporate environment because it uses a Server-client model allowing most of the resource intensive work to be offloaded to the server (Updates, Active Scanning, Email Scanning). In a home environment this all has to be done by a single system and the slow down is not worth it

Is it just me or is anyone else tired of all the posts about Dev team restructuring? Great you had to cut some people... It sucks but It happens. Telling us about it doesn't restore our faith in you when we get more posts about how you had to fire people than we do about real issues like low server pops, declining subscriptions, bugs, and the lack of end game content. Am I the only one who would rather hear about how they are going handle Server Mergers than who's still left on the Dev team, or would you all rather hear that whoever is taking over guild and fan site relations?

Honestly OP after reading your post it doesn't really sound like your mad that you missed the event but more mad that BW didn't play the game for you. What did you do fly to Tatooine exit your ship and say "Oh no new quest here time to go back to dailies"? As soon as you exit the spaceport there is a giant Terminal Screen that tells you whats going on, at least on the imp side, travel another 500 ft straight ahead and you find a crowd of containment officers with their weapons drawn on a group of civi's. Its not like these civi's are just sitting around like some other NPC's, no every 60 sec one of them explodes and turns into a Rakgoul. This alone should have been enough for you to take a look at the general chat or maybe even ask a question about what was going on. Personaly I love that BW didnt say anything til after the event launch I completely enjoyed spending the first day of the event figuring out everything about it, but you it sounds like wont be happy unless BW runs your toon out to the quest area, kills the mobs, collects the quest objectives, then turns them in to collect the rewards.

I gotta say I LOVED the IA story, so much so that I'm playing it through a second time on a sniper. Unfortunately once you hit 50 the PVE really drops out on the Operative (full T3 and I still dish out lower DPS than anyone else in the raid). IMO the only other story that stacks up is the Trooper but I'm only half way through that so it still has a chance to crap out. As far as the others go I've played the SW and SI buth of which blow, but the SI does manage to pick up at the end.

Wow I gotta say that is a really well thought out solution of to the Operative DPS problem. You raised several valuable points about why our DPS is lacking and what could be done to fix it. I really wish more ppl would post constructive criticism like this it would definitively help out with the situation we're in now. /sarcasm

He's only loosing money if he buys the mats off the GTN. I sell my stims for about 11-13k a pop in stacks of 5 and make plenty of cash with Biochem (Currently at about 5 mil across 4 toons), but then again I'm not dumb enough to think I can buy my mats off the GTN and still make a profit. Its all about knowing how and where to farm the mats properly and when to sell them. Me personally I dont bother to farm mats on Voss I just send companions on G5 missions when ever I'm on. Then come Thursday I craft 5 of each stim and stick them up in the market for between 55-65k a stack. As soon as they sell I'm ready with another stack to put up. To be honest I'm not 100% sure where this Idea came from that you can buy your mats on the GTN and make a profit, maybe from WoW in the 3rd xpac and beyond but I had quit playing by then.

Your *********** kidding me right!?!?!?!?! 4 daily missions and you can buy a better barrel than we can craft... FROM DAY ONE!!!! Atleast artifice had a chance to get a schematic worth alot of money. You know how many schems Armstech has right now with a rating > 124? zip, zero, zilch, none, nada. There is not a single epic schematic drop for Armstech. The VERY best item we can craft requires that we spend day if not weeks crafting and REing items in the hopes that we can find purple weapon, and even then the only time ppl will buy them is if their companion needs an upgrade. So before you start ************ and moaning that you couldnt get a group together fast enough to down a world boss for a schematic, remember that Armstech is still looking for a world boss that will drop a schematic we can use, actually **** that it doesnt even have to be a world boss, stick em on a Raid boss I dont *********** care just give me a schematic that I can use beyond 124 rating

I had this same issue while crafting my Rakata med pac. I ended up submitting the ticket 3 times ( I wasnt going to let a bug **** me over on a Bio Crystal ). This first time I submitted it as a bug report and they closed it with the standard " Sorry **** happens we'll let the Dev team know" response. Second time I submitted it as a Item issue, logged out and came back the next day to find my ticket was gone, not closed, not locked, not pending, just gone. I then submitted a 3rd ticket under Item/Loot and finally got a response 2 days later telling me that they would refund the Bio Crystal Alloy but that I was only allowed 3 item retrievals in a 6 month period (*** So if your game bugs more than 3 times in 6 months I'm **** outta luck). Needless to say now when Im crafting big ticket items I stay logged in and in the same zone. Here's the response I got from CS

More than likely they are updating the PTS to 1.1.5a so that they can start on the 1.2 update, While it probably wont be up today I would bet by the end of the week.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this one, but I gotta toss my vote in for the Alderaan Planetary quest line. About half way through the quest line you'll go into a tunnel to kill a Republic resistance leader from one of the houses, If you select the right options he'll spout of something along the lines of I couldnt stop laughing when I heard that, kept wishing there was an option to tell him to wait 3000 years
