  1. Haha... Read it over and over again, till you like it.
  2. Yeah, I bought Plantronics head set, rubbish as well, mechanical failure after 1 year. You can not compare mouse or keyboard or gamepad to head phones. Got Logitech M705 mouse, works on crappiest surfaces, got Logitech Dual Action game pad for 2 years, not a single mechanical or electrical problem.
  3. Go with Logitech, you can not go wrong, constant updates. Bought Steel Series Stealth Merc because it's fancy left sided pad, bad mistake. Cheaply made keyboard, last drivers update was more than year ago.
  4. You probably too young understand those things if you can not make parallels from real life. Why communism collapsed? Because it sucked big time.
  5. Sorry but you bought it up again. Yes, I have been playing WoW and most nerfed class, a hunter. Yes, WoW is god of MMO customization and flexibility. No, I won't return back to WoW because I'm sick of fantasy games. Actually I was really hoping that this game will be my new "home" for many years, like WoW used to be. In current game state, not a chance in the hell. And I still want your snuff.
  6. What you have been smoking, I would like to get same delusional. Helps a lot dealing with every day stress. Competition you say, more likely TOR is struggling to survive.
  7. #1. Heavier GPU load after each patch. Started with pre access, everything was fine. #2. Ship droid yapping. I wish I could dump that useless piece of scrap metal out of airlock. #3. Heavy grind. Artificial down time via grind is absolutely ridiculous in this game. I could live with bugs and ignore many of them but what I have listed started causing me serious stress. Full stop after 1.1 and haven't logged on since.
  8. Things to try: run game as an admistrator, run game in Win XP SP3 mode. Move client_settings.ini and Graphics_Mirror.ini to any other location. Files are located C:\Users\Your user name\AppData\Local\Swtor, as I remember. Run game and set all gfx settings manually over again. Disable shadows, that give me good FPS boost. Pretty much it, I hope it helps.
  9. After seeing today post about LV50's AFK looting chests on Illum, I started thinking, perhaps they are not "gold sellers". But just peoples who love game and actually need money for respeccing, due they don't have time grind 24/7 and cover respeccing costs. Due game has obvious heavy grinding down time. Not everyone could afford that. So dual speck would be solution that peoples actually could do something interesting, what they like to do, instead grinding respeccing and repairing costs. Just a thought.
  10. LOL... Slicing nerf was so needed, not every one is willing run around like an idiot and grind. BW did not learn nothing, why so many grind based MMO's suffering from under population. Way too many players love "money printing".
  11. You probably been hibernating under your rock for too long. 6990 fastest dual GPU on the planet, 7970 fastest single GPU on the planet. http://www.anandtech.com/show/5314/xfxs-radeon-hd-7970-black-edition-double-dissipation-the-first-semicustom-7970/3
  12. So if Sci-Fi then graphics engine must be piece of trash? I have been playing both games on same laptop. Lotro I could run on medium settings with DX10 shader and TOR I could run only with lowest settings. But Lotro environmental graphics is far more realistic than TOR.
  13. Netgear or Linksys, both make routers with ADSL 2+ integrated modems.
  14. All laptops are based on Clevo bare bones. Veda P180HM is nothing else than Clevo P180HM. As Nine X7200 is Clevo X7200, dual video card monster, supports both, SLI and Crossfire. However, haven't seen any Clevo dual video card bare bone supporting Sandy Bridge yet. So for Sandy Bridge and dual video card only choice is Alienware M18x. Good choice video card vise, because all Clevo laptops using modular video cards. So if you feel that GPU is not "cutting" enough for you after some time, you can upgrade video card same way like in any PC. Here you go, X7200 from inside: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gtx-580m-sli-hd-6990m-crossfire,review-32276-3.html
  15. Probably best place I could suggest: http://www.avadirect.com/Notebooks Any laptop, for any taste. Branded, non branded, very high configuration flexibility, includes factory thermal paste replacement.
  16. I'm dead serious. I have been doing stress tests with most cooling methods (including peltier). Haven't tried liquid hydrogen (nitrogen) yet tho. Way too many condensation problems. Here:http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/13/amd-gets-guiness-world-record-for-fastest-cpu-with-overclocked-o/
  17. Yep, that's the best solution, helps a lot while running GPU at extreme.
  18. Nope, as you have degree and got no clue about how put computer on to extreme load. We have nothing to discuss any more. If many games are working fine and EaWare causing massive heat problems. Guess who's fault it is? Just for reference, run video burn in test and compare with TOR, you might find similarities.
  19. Haha... What about this one? http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_customed&model_name=NP7282-S1 Up to dual GTX580M or HD 6990M, defo not for gaming.
  20. Don't tell that to me, tell it to video card makers, who are expecting that peoples wouldn't run their products under extreme load. But if you want talk about my clients, every new brings yet another friend, getting bit overloaded my self. Seems like peoples like quality.
  21. Where do you taking this garbage? Ok, I have been computer engineer since C64 and Zx80. So what for then cooling is needed? If software can not beak a sweat billion transistors inside GPU core.
  22. If your video card works OK after restart then it shouldn't be damaged. If you get blank screen after restart, that's bad news. Have you tried other games? Stopped playing for that reason, after patch 1.0.1 GPU was 71C, next patch 76C and yet another next patch 86C. Sorry, lost count of patches. I mean, I have been playing many games with my current laptop, never ever had any heat problems ever. Ran even GPU burn in test, GPU temp never vent over 75C. I'm wondering why GPU makers are still silent. If some one running Heaven bench mark, then they start screaming that GPU gets loaded beyond recommended. And if game does that then it is fine. Currently only video cards with very good cooling are capable running game properly. As for guy who is running GPU on 105C, beyond my understanding. Usually it is critical temp for video cards, after reaching 105C usually video card shuts computer down. Hovever as 100C is is considered as critical temperature for silicone, let's see how long it will last.
  23. Press "N" and call Kira or T7. Anyway, with Kira Tarnis vent smoother.
  24. With Asus or any other brand, like MSI, GPU's are soldered on mother board, you can upgrade absolutely everything, except video card. Clevo/Sager using modular video cards, exactly like PC. Something better comes out and you want upgrade, no problems, just replace video card module and you got better GPU.
