  1. Here are three locations across the galaxy that I see as perfect choices for Bioware to develop into strongholds next. I will explain my reasoning at the end. Kashyyyk: Allows for a tree house type of stronghold. More or less like Endor, but far more vast in scale, and is the world the mighty Wookie race calls home. Built around the massive tree trunks that can only be found on Kashyyyk, your tree house and other wookie homes surrounding it are the only sources of light, as the sky above is dark, and below is the even more dark and dangerous shadowlands. The entire stronghold would have a rustic, "everything is made of wood" type of feel. Very nostalgic to the original KOTOR game. Manaan: Allows for a water based stronghold. You have access to rooms on the peaceful Manaan surface, and below, rooms that display the planet's deep and dangerous underwater depths. Probably unlikely, but an interesting feature idea: have a room that can only be accessed by crossing a small distance across the ocean floor, made possible by a stronghold exclusive set of underwater gear or something. Even if it were a relatively short or controlled path across, the fact that you can walk around and watch the silhouettes of the dangerous Manaan sharks lurking in the distance, among other things, is worth any cost for me. Alderaan: Allows for a mansion/small castle looking stronghold. Based upon a cliffside, hill, etc, it would provide a magnificent view of Alderaan's beautiful landscape. This would be more of an expensive looking stronghold, with a possible courtyard leading up to what would be a very regal home that fits the style of royalty prevalent across this world. As modest on the interior as it is the exterior, the inside could contain a ballroom, tea room, dining room, and so on (Very classical in design.) I think you get the picture. I chose these three locations because of their nostalgic value and also because they are very distinct and unique. First, Kashyyyk, the only planet you can have a tree house stronghold on, not mention living with wookies. Second, Manaan, the only planet you can have an underwater stronghold, (Not Naboo, I would rather die than live among Gungans) while keeping the strong sense of nostalgia from the original KOTOR present. A game, by the way, that SWTOR stemmed from. Thirdly, Alderaan, the only in-game established planet on which a castle/manor stronghold would make sense, and the world as a whole is nostalgic for obvious reasons... I just feel like these would be smart ideas for Bioware to take into account and possibly follow through with once the initial strongholds expansion is released. Housing in this game has literally endless possibilities, and I hope Bioware takes full advantage of this fact! I know I would take these three ideas over that of a Quesh or Voss stronghold or something like that. REMEMBER YOUR ROOTS IN THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE, BIOWARE! Thank you for reading, if you agree, support these ideas by leaving feedback. The more people who see it and comment, the more attention it gets, I suppose. Good day.

  3. Yes, but most have already seen Kashyyyk at daytime through ep. III. Besides, this is the Old Republic era. I would like the feel of this game to be the least like the prequels as possible. I don't think the fans will mind.
  4. I know, but Manaan has a lot more atmosphere and nostalgic value, while Mon Calimari is just "that planet where Admiral Ackbar is from." I don't know maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about...
  5. I suppose strongholds on these planets would only have value to Kotor fans.
  6. I can't argue with that logic, but I doubt that I'll be so lucky, not that I would have a problem living forever....
  7. Yes, but I like to live in the present. I won't be alive in three thousand years, so I really don't care.

  9. A LUXURY CHATEAU ON ALDERAAN? Yes please.
  10. This is very good. Bioware definitely won't go this route exactly, but they need to start thinking like this. I would be an exile, so I could be a jedi outcast/batman type of character.
  11. Hello everyone, Some may agree when I say that The Old Republic needs a class story reset option. I know this has been thought of before, but I want to make sure that Bioware hears about it this time, so hear me out. Once you have reached level 50, while the flashpoint and warzone dailies can be fun, It would be very nice to have the choice to restart your story again, without having to re-roll your character, so you can go through and do it without all of the side quests that were major distractions to the overall experience. This would only be available to those who have already finished their story of course, They would be able to keep all the gear (and on that note, think of how amazing you would look in your lower level class missions!) and abilities of a level 50. The mobs in the player's class mission instances would also be 50, so that it wouldn't be to easy. There could be a rewards system of credits or gear, but I'm not going to get into that, because it's beside the point. I'm thinking this option could be made available to people through certain amount of credits, payed at a terminal at the class' starting planet. or maybe even a legacy system unlock? Please leave your thoughts below. Share this with your friends, and if enough people comment and view this, Bioware may see and consider this idea. Thank you.
  12. Yes, you are right about how it could be time consuming getting from planet to planet, but this would not be a feature that is completely necessary for your character. It would be something that you agree to pay for, knowing that it could be very time consuming, but only doing it because you really want to experience your story again.

  14. Hello, I have a quick question. If I as my 50 sage bought legacy exalted gear for my guardian, and then put war hero mods and enhancements into it, when he reaches 50 will he still need to reach a certain valor rank to use it? Right now I have the scematics for the war hero gear, and am trying to get to syntheweathing lvl 400 to use them. But at the bottom of the scematics they say that it requires valor 60. Is it worth trying to craft or should i stick to buying the gear with commendations? Please help!
  15. How about this: 1. The day and knight cycle should be the same as our time. 2. Planets like coruscaunt and nar shadaa would be fine because they are lit by the billions of lights from the buildings obviously. 3. Think of the Senate Tower at night. 4. They would not have to make it pitch black dark on planets like tatooine or hoth, but just make it so you can . see your way around and it still feeling like night time. They have night missions in countless games doing this. (Also the mounts could have lights on them.) 5. Wouldn't it be far more exciting wandering around on say taris for example, when its dark and you have look out for rakgouls in the shadows... I don't know maybe i'm crazy, it just seems like something natural to put into an mmo. Especially if you are trying to compete with WoW and others.
  16. My suggestion is to have there to be a night and day rotation, so whatever time it is in reality relflects on the time of day in the game. Don't you guys think it would be fun to see these planets at night? I do.
  17. I agree alot of the siths are babies. My group was doing a heroic 4 in a temple and he ran directly into us. So we butchered him, then suddenly i started getting whispers on my chat screen from him saying things like "you're worthless you know that your worthless" and "you think you are cool because you and your little buddies beat me up right? RIGHT!?" Its pathetic really, its only a game.
  18. I would happy about there being a free to play option, but will people be able to hack the game? If so can Bioware stop them? I don't want to spend all my time investing in my level 50 character's stats and armor just to be easily mauled by someone who is a lower level than me.
  19. Hello everyone, I have a lvl 50 smuggler scoundrel and I really like the look of the battlemaster gear for him but not war hero. I can put the war hero mods into the battlemaster gear without any trouble right?
  20. Hi everyone, I was planning to get war hero gear soon for my Jedi Guardian. I was excited at first, until I saw what it looked like. Then I found the guardian exalted gear for Legacy and it looked way better, and I am going to buy it. But my question is, can you put war hero mods into your legacy gear? If so what are the downsides to this? Can you still add an augment slot?
