  1. I was under the impression that, right now at least, the only people who know you've switched sides are the PC and Lana (well, and Jonas). Lana's letter said something along the lines of being careful who you told. I would have like the option to tell him, though, considering I'm married to him
  2. I'd like them to just make separate sliders for face shape, noses, eyes, etc. Why have them all locked together. That would create a lot more variety to play with.
  3. Agreed. The treatment that the poor guy has gotten irritates me. He's the one (well, two if you count Elara) companion who refuses to be a simple "yes man" and will stand up to you, and even defy you if you do things he doesn't agree with. I loved him for that and I had hoped that he'd continue to do it if he stayed around. I also wish that they'd give a few of the other companions more backbone.
  4. The only double agent character I have tried so far was my Sith Warrior. She actually sided with the Empire on Iokath, but Acina was starting to annoy me, so I switched again. Them trusting her made sense, but the whole "The Republic has won me over" line in the beginning didn't make much sense because all the Republic has tried to do has been to kill her. I hope we have the option to tell a few of our companions that we aren't actually killing Jedi for thrills....
  5. Taking a page out of Dracofish's book and copying my reply to a different thread here. I give the expansion a 7/10. I'm not thrilled to be forced back into the Imp/Pub war, but at least I'm not a lacky. I've done it 3 times (loyalist for both sides and a double agent against the Empire). It took me a little bit to remember where Malora was from (didn't figure that one out until I ran my main who has done almost every quest available). She's....changed.... Storywise, it was only ok. Not their best work, but not a whole lot of plot holes (yet) either. I like the two new companion(ish) characters, and getting Jaesa and Nadia back was cool (Nadia looks so cute now). I've only run Warriors and a Consular so far, so I haven't seen the others yet.
  6. Ok it's not just me, then. I have a few pieces of 248 for her, but overall she's 246. I was seeing a bunch of pvp people complaining about the new gearing system, but 246 and 248 should do fine and, if you can find those in crates, what's the big deal? (not being facetious, I really would like to know what the issue is).
  7. I don't know if I'm in the minority her or not, but my main character is geared at 246, and I have never touched PVP. I've gotten her to 300+ command rank, and most of my gear came from crates. I ran through Heroics sometimes, formed a group with some RL friends and ran uprisings and did flashpoints. I have no problem finding good gear in crates, even if it has taken a while to find it all.
  8. I second the picture. I was getting sick of Vaylin. 9. They said no initially, but that was before they started messing with stuff. He hasn't said anything more about that yet.
  10. I enjoyed parts of all of the expansions. I actually wish that they hadn't cut everything up. I think a lot more people would have liked them more if they had simply added some group content onto Zakul that made sense with the story being told. But, I'm one who gets bored with the dumb imp vs pub tripe so.... That said, there are a few chapters that are hell to play. The one with Satele and Mar comes to mind. Not because I don't think that what they're trying to teach you doesn't have value, it was just a dumb way to get to it. I main a L5 Sith Warrior and every chance she got, she told Valkorian to take a hike (in approved forum language...), so why the hell would I go and ask for his help when there's a vital mission to do? I wanted to do that mission, not go gallivanting through the forest I found the chapters on Asylum boring, too. Just took too long to move the story. And I hated the Scions. The rest was fun. As for Iokath, well, I would have told both of them to kiss my a**, and get off my planet. I was a bit miffed that it wasn't an option. Storywise after that, it wasn't horrible. However, I will add here that the way the Republic was written throughout the expansions made choosing to side with them difficult. The Empire, regardless of your previous affiliation, swoops in to help you on Voss. And they don't even try to steal your throne when you go missing on Iokath the first time. Asina's letter makes me smile. The only real interaction you get with the Republic before Iokath was a letter basically saying that they are siding with Arcan, and a psycho who tries to kill both you and the ruler of the Empire (yes, I'm aware that they officially denounce what she did, but would they have if she had succeeded?). The writers here should have done a better job of making the Republic more sympathetic. As it is, nearly all of my characters side with the Empire (even my soldier. Boy was Malcom mad at her....). Umbara was interesting (Theron's letter after the fact to a romanced character is heartbreaking), but it was missed potential. There could have been so much more added to the story, but it felt too rushed. Corpero made me want to punch Theron in the face, despite the fact that I'd romanced him. That was the worst slog I have ever had the misfortune to run through. Even after they tweaked the HP on the bosses, it's still a chore. Storywise, it left a lot to be desired. I got the impression they had more planned, but were only given enough resources to finish about a third of it. Also, stop with the "FOR HOUSE IROKINI!!!!!!" I get it. I promise, I get it..... Nathema was a nice change. The story was actually pretty good. The call back to the class story was fun, even if I don't remember who some of these people are. It didn't feel as rushed as the first two, but still suffered from lack of resources. The conclusion to the Traitor Arc (hell the whole story really) would have really benefited if it had been told as a true expansion and not a bridge. There are plot holes you can fit the Eternal Fleet through. But, in the end, my girl got her stupid spy boyfriend back, so it wasn't all bad. I got the feeling it was written for Theron fans. Even the "death" wasn't a death and I think those who wanted to kill him will be disappointed next because it was ambiguous enough to leave open the question of if he actually died or not. So that's my two cents. No one who absolutely hated the expansions is going to turn someone who loved them and vise versa. Overall, I enjoyed them. Could they be better? Absolutely. But I liked getting away from the tired old troupe of imp vs pub for a little while. Zakul was a refreshing change.
  11. Welcome . I hope you continue to enjoy it
  12. My favorite is the Warrior. I main a L5 marauder, and telling Valkorian to eff off is fun.
  13. I'd play the ones that are connected to story, so ToS, GOTM, and Dread Masters, but the rest I don't need to see. I wonder if something like the tactics pages in DA could be implemented here so you can make your companions a little smarter. Every 10 influence levels gives another tactic slot or something like that. I'd love to make them smarter...
  14. Yeah but that really isn't something I want popping into my head. Although, putting Daryl Dixon into Star Wars might just save the franchise at this point....mmmmm.....
  15. So I just found this thread and immediately a Walking Dead/Star Wars crossover started playing in my head.....
  16. I wish we could have seen the entire thing. And the whole traitor story line as well. They were both good, but had the potential to be amazing if they had been able to actually tell their story.
  17. I'm not sure they suck. The traitor arc felt incomplete, not bad. It was like they had to cut out massive chunks to get it to fit in the budget that EA gave them. If EA would loosen the purse strings a bit, then we'd see good, complete stories again. I hate seeing some of my favorite characters become the victims of a bunch of pencil pushing cheapskates....
  18. My people have been free for too long to want to be dragged back under the boot of either the Sith or the Jedi. I hope there's a third option.
  19. I doubt Satele would be around much, the Jedi code and all that, so you'd pretty much be left alone.
  20. I say nix the trailers if it means that's all we get. They did the right thing with Nathema. No trailer, just teaser pics and we got decent content with it. All of the ones where they released a trailer were lackluster in content. So, unless they can afford both, no to trailers.
