Another problem is that Fleet is typically the only place to chat or troll. So people just stand around queuing for wzs and trolling. There should be a generic, galaxy wide chat channel as well so people can still troll while out gathering and doing other things.

Question for the community team: Why would you sign-up to manage a community of raging Star Wars nerds? Hope the pay is good.

Guilds will be able to stick together. This is the least of my worries because 90% of the servers have no communities left at this point.

I think in a way, yes. It encourages players to re-roll and make alts. When people do this, it lowers the number of lvl 50's LFG and warzones. I still like the legacy system - not sure it should have been as big a priority as some of the things you mention (ranked pvp) and more content.

Sure it matters to some degree. It will take time to get new devs in to begin working but new people = new ideas. 6 months from now, game could be headed in another direction (for the better) so unscribing and coming back is fine. I had taken a 2-3 month break after playing every day for the first 2 months and burning out. Now I am having fun again even though population issues are troublesome and the content is stale.

I am always logged in. 24/7. 7 days a week. Regardless of maintenance. In fact, my entire server is probably always logged in. So I don't know where how he is making this assumption.

Any buff is good but as Hadlis said, an interrupt would be nice. Why does every other class get one except BH? I don't really have a problem with our DPS.

Most servers are pretty lame atm. Might be best to wait to see what will happen with transfers/mergers. I like my server, Port Nowhere and we need some more good players.

Im in the same boat as you. I have re-rolled a few characters but no other 50's yet. I still love the class and it is fun. I tried to argue for arsenal spec early on and quickly realized pyro is the way to go with this class. This is my spec: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#300MzZMckZcGrbzGGMs.1 Have to manage your heat a lot more than arsenal. It may take a bit to get used to. Use your surroundings and line of sight to your advantage. I like to have the reduce cooldown on the shield as it does seem to help with survivability to get the shield cool down faster more often.

Well I play Pyro and the mobility is clearly prefered over sniper. I LOL when I go up against a sniper, incindiary/thermal/rail shot, and run behind a pillar. /dance with them and so forth. Really not great in PVP if you have to be stationary to do anything (which is why Mara/Assassin/Operative are dominant). The answer is....neither are really great but out of the two I prefer my Pyro Merc.

Ive been 50 a while - thought I was done with the class quest

I have 1000/1000 affection yet I still do not have an option to finish talking to her for the legacy unlock - was Mako quest line broken or is there something else i need to do to finish her quest?

The sad thing about our class is it is the most fun class (and coolest) but of course that is my opinion. I feel like when I have mara's jumping all over me, some skill-less noob is sitting behind the keyboard laughing away that I am still playing a Merc...which I have been playing less and less of as I level some alt's. Just based on the movies/lore, a BH should at least have a chance against a Jedi 1v1 but that isn't even the case now.

Mine is semi-retired. Sad because I love the BH class the most. I think I may work on a Powertech but they still don't compare to marauder.

Yeah Ive started to feel the same way. I still do a ton of damage but me vs the FOTM marauder/sentinel groups means I get destroyed . Merc is kind of a waste of a spot in a group at the moment.

It is not bad but if I could go back I would have gone PT for sure. It is nice to be able to heal as a Merc which is our advantage over PT.

Trying to get a feel for where I'm at on my gear. Took a break from the game and trying to grind up for war hero gear. Want to get a feel for where I am compared to most of the other pyro's. Any tips on what I should focus on boosting would be appreciated. My focus is power>crit>surge. I'm doing something similar to that now and it works very well. its funny to see people try to take you down with that kolto shield - makes things a little more difficult for them
