I was in the WoW beta aswell, both the european, na and korean one infact. But heres the fun part, aside from the first 2 weeks of the game being completely unplayable we had very few problems on our server. Saying that just because you had a similiar experience with both games would set it in stone is just silly. Besides aside from the low FPS I'm suffering due to my poor gaming rig I've yet to experience any problems with this game. The Early access plan was a major flop tho, a fine attempt, poorly executed.

Only going to adress that one, everyone is obviously getting early access but should someone not get it(as in hurrdurr 0 days) AND they ordered through Origin, then they're entitled to have 5€ refunded as that is an added sum you pay for early access when you order through origin and no, it is not deducted from the games initial cost. Won't happen tho since they're letting the rest in today.

People do care tho, they care because they're actually huttburt that someone didn't like the game they like and since that means their opinion on the game must be wrong, they have to post the regular "Herpsherp I'm going to pretend I don't care and I'm going to post in your thread so you know it!".

The only way bioware can ever make up for this outrage is to create and release baldurs gate 3! You can do something else until the 15th, once that comes around you can start bickering about not getting your "up to 5 days" 'guaranteed' time. Anyone up for some multiplayer Ms paint?

You probably dont know that many people :/ I played on Shattered Hand-EU from the start in WoW and I'll agree that the first 2 weeks were almost completely unplayable due to constant servercrashes etc.(Players on our server did cause it themselves tho when they decided to gather up 7 full groups of alliance to raid the crossroads.) However aside from one particular occasion when the servers were down 3 days straight, the complaints from our community was almost nonexistant, people werent overjoyed but as far as I can tell there was only afew forum posts about it and once the servers came back up again there were pretty much no lag anymore and we only had 2 or 3 more server crashes until TBC came out, at wich point I quit so after that I can't really speak for or against it. However, and this is my point: The communities back in 2005-2006 were dealing with a fairly new concept, MMOs suddenly seemed to sprout everywhere and still, no other MMO experienced the same strain on the servers as blizzards WoW. Now afew years has gone by and suddenly everyone expects a magical fix that will let everyone play the very second the game becomes availible, with no issues at all. The communities has gotten worse, they whine more, theres more elitists. Interesting enough most of the whining posts are written by the very same scourge that pester the WoW forums, eventually noone takes them seriously and people look for other places to discuss properly. Also, typing "fact" does not make it a fact.

Can you really not understand it? Or do you just not want to? The pre-start is so far one of the cleanest ones I've ever seen, compared to WoW, WAR, AoC, RIFT.. etc. They're throwing in waves because well, thats just the most convenient way of doing it.
