  1. Miraluka's simple, savage, white cloth eye bandage (non existent) >> decorated high-born (esque) masks Jedi's simple iconic robe with an optional hoodie (non existent) >> tron-like led lights on iron man (esque) armor (JK Battlemaster set) / bee-man with surfboard on the right shoulder (JK War Hero set) / ice skating shoulder blades with a colorful almost-but-not-quiet hoodie (Black Hole commendation set). I barely complain, and I'm patient with the status of the servers, lack of end-game content and activities, but I want to at least look 'cool and iconic' while idling in the fleet awaiting the Warzone queue for 4 hours -- not trolling -- Kind Regards
  2. Game is cool. Only MMORPG I would play, but I don't have many to play it with, and sadly there are servers in an even worse situation. Server transfers. Now, please. Thank you. :-)
  3. Meanwhile in the galaxies of Light
  4. You can do your best, work with the team you got (at least half of which are more than likely to be pick up groups) and still lose. This is indeed wrong. I can only understand it and would actually find it interesting if it were the case for 8v8 premades.
  5. Many kudos to the engineers at BioWare for the latest patch. Ability response feels PERFECT! I've also seen a FPS increase within Warzones and just in general. The combat is much more intriguing. I love it! Keep up the great work
  6. I clearly wrote 'one of the main reasons'. Take youtube partners who stream / upload WoW Arena videos for example. They wouldn't do how-to's for a diminished community. The following is huge. That's a thing. SWTOR has more variables to consider. The potential for it to become the go-to for competitive gaming sports is greater than any MMORPG before it. As stated many rows above, I would be perfectly fine with the idea of implementing it just for the ratings / competitive / fun aspect. I never really favored the idea of grinding arena for exclusive gear either. Thanks.
  7. Ah, you're clearly one of those types. It is no mystery to me where your dislike towards such a feature derives from. The above quote further confirms this. Lol.
  8. Again, typical table argument of an Arena / competitive PvP failure. Prove me wrong.
  9. I'm sure many would be fine with that. Arena ranking would be enough.
  10. typical table argument of an arena failure. Arena is the main reason why WoW is still breathing strong. The Arena community is evident to this. It's such competitive play which makes games such as LoL so successful too. I'm sorry that you lacked the skill to play competitively, however please don't be one of the naysayers to ruin it for others.
  11. ah ah ah ha ah ha.... for what? no terms of service are broken, only the system is.
  12. When you /ignore a player who is bothering you or whatever reason you have to ignore them in-game, you're still able to see their emotes.
  13. Could somebody please point out to me where in the LORE it states that the PURPLE CRYSTAL is a SITH colour? We all know from the movies that the purple crystal was Mace Windu's signature lightsaber color, but apart from that? Kind of like what they did with the Tron-looking Jedi Guardian PvP armor set. Yes, Obi-Wan Kenobi DID wear trooper armor at a point in The Clone Wars, but even with that he had a Robe cloak strap and there were no led lights attached lol. Who makes these ridiculous decisions at BioWare, and did they pay any attention at all? That's THE question.
  14. Yeah, it's still bugged here too. I logged onto the forums to ask about it.... getting really tired of these b-grade-mmo bugs. *nods in disappointment*
  15. +10 stat datacron run is more enjoyable than all the end-game content combined.
  16. Learn your priorities. Either way, no. Just no.
  17. Why doesn't this surprise me? Seriously, I'm not surprised at all. :w_confused: :w_confused: :w_confused: Sorry guys, we skimped on yet another little detail (which hinders with the feel of the game) to outsource a very fine voice actress.... ....Say, they should
  18. Without getting technical, if a remote attacker has your IP address, they could exploit this kind of application to get through to your system / gaming account. This is usually the case with every internet-facing application. The average consumer is usually not even running a proper firewall. Of course, there are no written vulnerabilities, however with past experiences I've witnessed this sort of behavior on such clients. It doesn't hurt to add such a layer of security to your system. If anything, just the general first 'System Config' setting should be set. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
  19. Dear fellow community, As you may be aware, MMORPG engines aren't exactly built around network security, including the coding around HeroEngine at this point in time. With the clients facing the internet at all times, I believe network security is mandatory. The following method will show how you can add a layer of security to you and your account. - Download EMET 2.1 (Windows Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit v2.1) from the official Microsoft website. - Load the application, click on Configure System and through Profile Name, select Maximum Security Settings. - Select Configure Apps and Add the swtor.exe from your chosen path at installation, then select Open and OK. - Reboot your PC I use this method myself, and have not noticed any difference in performance what-so-ever, however results may vary. It could even increase your performance if you're a target of hackers. PLEASE USE THIS METHOD AT YOUR OWN PERIL. Enjoy peace of mind
