  1. Do you keep Shatter on CD. Ability choice is a rotation or priority list?

  3. Whether you call it adjustment/bringing in line or whatever else the fact is a well player Mara today dominates -agree that a poorly played is easy to kill. So after the change what will a well played Mara do? If they do so well now just imagine the amount of QQ after 1.2. All I'm saying is the good players love the AC they play now, and you know what will happen, it will get nurfed. So speak up now, fight for your AC.
  4. I'll share my view though many or some may not agree: It has to do with the skill curve being too steep in WoW to be able to get max out of your class/build in Arena. Look at TOR class/builds and the skill required to get near max in a PvP environment Vs WoW. Though not all WoW classes are the same most of them require an extremely high amount of skill to produce near max. Look at Warlock -my class- the best Warlock in the WORLD -arguably- has made videos and any one who watches those videos can see he is good. Many will even go as far as admitting that they will NEVER be able to do what he does...Such as myself... That is why I left WoW. The talent curve is as high in WoW to reach near max as it is for me to play in the NCAA or NBA!
  5. Marauder is by far the most demanding AC to play especially if you play Annihilation as you must deal with offensive CD's as well as defensive CD's AND manage your Fury/Rage effectively. Compare that to say a Sage/Sorcerer -I play one at Valor 61- my resource is simply not an issue I never need to think about it. My CD's are a non issue as all my defensive CD's are in seconds. I have one offensive CD that I only use when Relic/Adrenal are ready!
  6. I will share a secret with you a skilled Vanguard/Powertech has gotten really good at timing her abilities to the point they go off about the same time with a proc lightning people up for near 10k. PvP is about burst and these guys can burst with the best of them.
  7. 61 Valor Assassin / 60 Valor Sorcerer / 5x Valor Juggernaut and the difference from sniper to sniper -human player- is huge. Most seem OK, nothing special at all. Some are flat out horrible, staying in cover while I DoT and break LoS, go in hit and hide and they just sit in cover..still...hp falling..lol... In all my played time I have come across 3 snipers..only 3..that are pure beasts! You will not kill him solo.. He blows people up and are just amazing PvP players! Conclusion: The 'class' can play in PvP, its the player.

  9. Snare + Immobilize need to obey Resolve which means BW needs a complete overhaul of talent tree's.. In other words, don't hold your breath.
  10. I think it6 has to do with the resource system: The more you use the lower the regen! But the less you use the worse you are damage/burst/utility wise. Now look at Sage/Sorcerer resource: The more you use the cheaper it gets -some specs have the talents to lower the force cost by 50% of next 2 abilities.

  12. I thought they changed the Grenade CD to 5min? Biochem gives Rakata Adrenal / Rakata Stimulant (buff) / Healing Also I keep runing the Diplomacy mission (+1hour each) and making money on GTN! Last is the blue consumable healing item that also has a HoT is the best in game and you can make a decent amount of credits selling them -but many people also make them. Last but not least Implants!
  13. Fun vid to watch, I gotta ask you have a hardon for Marauders? You seem to be killing one just about every clip. During my game play I have noticed you builds seems to do really well against just about any AC tank or not, CD or not. I also noticed you don't use your ranged DoT at all, any advice for players whop want to start playing your class and build? Do you have a fixed rotation?
  14. Its not for you, its not the AC, it is you. Go read the many posts see the many youtube videos. JT1 has some nice clips and guides as do many others. Vanguard followed by Sentinel are arguably the most powerful PvP AC in TOR today.
  15. Vanguard is arguably the most powerful AC for PvP today catering for a various array of game play styles. A big part of its damage is not mitigated by armor/parry/shield type of mechanics and once mastered can pretty much burst near 10k on players per DPS rotation.
  16. The lowest burst of any AC. The lowest DPS of any DPS AC and easily healed. DoT based damage which on a focus target will always be immediately dispelled. The easiest to kill of any AC in a Rated WZ type of environment, all you need really is the off Resolve Immobilize by x2 AC -such as Marauder and Juggernaut- and throw in any 4 sec CC or pull and the Sage/Sorcerer goes down the easiest. If we assume a Rated WZ setting and assume all are in best gear with best optimization and best skill Sage/Sorcerer will need to be looked at because as it stands it is the weakest PvP AC DPS wise -AGAIN look at the assumptions and do not gauge it with PuG game play, bad players die to Sage/Sorcerer. ---- On a side note I thought Force Lightning has 4 ticks not 3?
  17. How are we supposed to do anything against Watchman/Annihilation players! My case is simple: SNARE + IMMOBILIZE OFF RESOLVE IS CRAZY OP! I have no issue with everything else they have but YOU CAN NOT have all what they have with Snare+Immobilize off Resolve COME ON!

  19. From purely a burst/dps perspective is Stalker better? Assuming Crushing Darkness is on target every CD and runs its full course AND we have it talented 2/2 and 3/3 is not better than Stalker ?
  20. Its a build that went for damage/burst instead of all the PvP survivability tools which may not be a bad idea.
  21. Stay in denial for as long as you want, it will come -not sure how or in what form but the total PvP package that this AC brings as Watchman/Annihilation is over the top, just too good it will be TONED DOWN.
  22. The problem is not so evident now because we do not have 100% pre mades, rather only 50% pre mades with 4 randoms. Get a full pre made in a Rated WZ and the power of Watchman/Annihilation with current buffs/CD's will be clear and OP. Some will say its easy, just CC the Watchman/Annihilation player during those 2 CD's! Before that you need to be so disciplined as not to increase his Resolve until he uses those CD's! During that time the tank/melee will be on your healer! Its going to be a sad few weeks/months as the team with the better Watchman/Annihilation player(s) win.... It is so clear today that the PvP SURVIVABILITY of Watchman/Annihilation is over the top. Damage: FINE -as DoT's can be dispelled Burst: FINE -Takes a skilled player -burst rage/fury management Mobility: Excellent -every 12 sec covers a radius of 30m with a 3 sec Immobilize off Resolve and no more 10m minimum range CC: AE Paralyze for 6 sec ALL ENEMIES every 60 sec Force Choke: Excellent tool to interrupt/wait for CD/Kill over hazard that builds Rage Bloodthirst (+15% healing and damage for your party for 15 seconds) and Obfuscate (reduces target's melee abd ranged accuracy by 90% for 6 seconds) Predation (+50% movement speed for your party for 10s) Deadly Throw (reduces target's healing received by 20% for 15 seconds) Enduring Pain / Force Camouflage : CD needs to be 120 sec Gore! --- Look if you play this AC you have to know deep down that an adjustment is coming, not to damage or utility but to PvP survivability. You know what would be HILARIOUS : IF BW MAKES WATCHMAN/ANNIHILATION THE SHARED TREE!
