  1. Couple of outfit sets: Columi Field Tech's Headgear/Jacket/Gloves/Boots (w/matching? Columi Field Medic's Leggings Field Tech leggings never match the set (they are this weird beige color that matches nothing, same with the Tionese ones), so I picked up the Field Medic's Leggings with an extra token, since they look more like a match. Belt is a lookalike RD-07A Viper Belt orange - it and all the tier belts look identical. TD-07A Blackguard Helmet/Body Armor/Gauntlets/Leggings/Boots All BoE oranges. I beliebe they share skins with the three pieces of craftable Lacqerous Battle gear
  2. I think you can give up on the "trenchcoat" that Tamin the Security Key vendor is wearing... it appears to be Operative-style only (which they get an orange of, grr.)
  3. An Armstech was nice enough to post one of the lv50 craftables, looks like a no-paint version of the S-203 Watchman pistols. Hylo Visz's Sidearm
  4. There is an identical crafted one. Think it's the Fortified Lacquerous Jacket or something like.
  5. I don't mind being a turret. It's a little weird having played extremely mobile classes in TOR so far and WOW, but I have cover and roll bound to down and up on my mousewheel, so moving and setting up shop is effortless. I get my face handed back to me all the time in hardmode flashpoints despite surrender spamming, so the dampers are nice. I just hate it when I overestimate how far my party is from me when I pop Scrambling Field and it covers none of them ._.' I also hate the lack of mobility between covers, makes trash pulling an exercise in running very slowly to catch up to the damn jedi knights.
  6. Bosses enrage on a set time, but as for a countdown, no. Usually when your tank explodes is a good indicator to pop all your defensive cooldowns and try to kite or something
  7. From easiest to hardest, IMHO. Taral V : Nothing special needed. Only one boss (the robot) needs interrupting, but it is infrequent enough to not need a rotation. Looks huge but you can skip 2/3 of the trash. Maelstrom: Cyborg boss is kind of brutal and needs a tank who can wrap their head around los kiting, and dps who won't pull aggro during it, especially the first kite. The rest is easy. False Emperor: Mandalorian boss requires almost exploiting the guns and positioning to complete (basically you open with the center cannon to hit the ship, tank him next to the center turret, then everyone hits it as soon as the ship moves up), but with voice chat that shouldn't be too hard. Malgus is less of an issue now, but for some reason my character is bugged out and is unable to pick up grenades, so make sure to discard any unused grenades before you zone out. Battle for Ilum: Cannoneer boss requires an los pull, quick aoe cc and hard aoe dps, and a tank on the ball with interrupting defense screen, and his enrage is rough and quick. Supposedly you can skip him (only drops a tionese belt) but otherwise the rest is easy. Esseles: First "boss" requires fast aoe cc/dps in order to zerg down his adds while meeting his enrage. Mandalorian's enrage is also brutal with melee who can't really even attempt to dps him during his missile salvo. Last boss's targeting circles tend to bug out and strike as soon as the circles appear, and his double saber strike can hit the same person twice, practically guaranteeing a gib. Kaon at Siege: The trash NOT faceroll and often a boss to themselves with all the crazy stuff they do (especially with multiple mercenaries and screamers in the same pack) AND there is a metric ton of it. The bonus boss - if you don't have at least 2 droid CCs, don't bother, and if you do make sure to pull him far from his initial position (although you -can- pull it back to the entrance of the zone since it has no enrage, it seems kind of silly). At least the rest of the bosses are a joke once you understand the basic mechanics. Directive 7: First boss bugs out really easily will more often than not spam-clone a player. If it picks that player first you're in for a lot of hurt. Bulwark's punch can't be interrupted anymore, so if melee aren't careful they can get gibbed, and his health+enrage can be painful if you don't have the CC for the droids. Mentor is long, prolonged, and brutal.
  8. Hm, I see you have the Deadeye/Gunslinger Elite Prototype Jacket (which is from the Balmorra bonus missions, as is all of the Deadeye/Gunslinger Elite gear btw) but I don't see the white one. http://i.imgur.com/g1Bzw.jpg Scoundrel Medic's Maelstrom Jacket - Drops from the last boss of Taral V. Has a lot of clipping issues with belts and blasters, unfortunately.
  9. A mods are high attack stat, moderate endurance, and low secondary. B mods are high endurance, moderate attack stat, and low secondary. Regular mods are moderate in all 3 stats. Afaik, Cybertechs can only make A-type mods, and only with crit/power secondaries.
  10. For goodness' sake peoples, haul your arses off the Fleet. This game is heavy on ambient lighting and far too many of these screencaps are ruined by terrible lighting conditions! Go find some place well-lit like Balmorra and find a pole or low cliff to shimmy next to for your camera collision close-up That being said, I don't have much to add except a picture of my eagles side by side that have been posted before, but are way too dark to see the detail. M-305 Rancor-X Enforcer & Tral-tech Needler Also decided to plod through the Balmorra Bonus series and was pleasantly surprised that the [H4]s awarded a set of pistols. Heavy Repeating Interceptor & B-53 Bantha Shrieker
  11. Used Nadia as soon as I got her and haven't switched at 50. Sure, you are forced to play the LOS game with ranged guys and keep-away with melee (which isn't an issue with all the ridiculous tools balance sage gets) but between your damage and her you ridiculous output, you destroy things. Quickly. Tank pet might be alrite if they actually mitigated damage. My experience is that they take more than they really should even with updated gear, and Balance healing isn't so hot.
  12. The matching set seems to be the TD-15A Medic Commando set that drops in Maelstrom Prison. Have seen the chest drop for sure from Kilran anyway (several times on my JK -_-), but for some reason it doesn't seem to drop for my trooper in a solo run.
  13. It's not quite just a reskin of the D400, it's got that scope doodad (or whatever that top piece qualifies as... do vanguards even need a scope?) that has a nice gloss shine to it and the sight down the barrel. Surprised I don't see it (and the other lv400 craftables) on the AH more often since it can be crit, guess there's a dearth of armstechs.
  14. I think I found my new baby, the M-008 Deadeye. Looks like it's an Armstech trainer creation, and it looks damn nice. http://imgur.com/F7sTV
  15. Taral V (and Maelstrom Prison for that matter) are easily soloable once you get high enough. First time I tried was at 47 and it was a cakewalk, so earlier is probably fine too. Getting the drops you want with the current loot system is the challenge though. Sometimes it wigs out and drops only willpower stuff and trooper stuff.
  16. Two things I would like to point out: 1) The OP post did not mention buffing other crafts - but this does not mean it will never happen. Don't assume that balance fixes are where they will stop. (and if nerfing is what they needed to do to balance it, then so be it, because the Rakata medpacks at least, are really quite ridiculous) 3) The level requirements are there to prevent people from levelling crafts to 400 just to make the BOP items and drop it for whatever else. At the moment, you could level each craft to 400, make all of their useful BOP epics, then drop it for Biochem and still have full use of all the other crafts' "perks". Biochem is still extremely powerful compared to other crafts (other than Cybertech, I guess. Those grenade CCs are pretty good despite their CD because really who is going to throw around normal grenades, looking at the cost?), since the other crafts' BOP items are equipment - equipment which is upgraded in hardmode Ops and therefore lose the crafting benefit, while stims/adrenals are forever unless there are supermode versions. Hopefully BW will even out the crafting field soon for the BOP perks, now that some basic balancing has been done.

The best farming point I found for high rank 5 mats was the lake in the northeast part of Pelath-Ri in Voss. Just drive crescents around the west side of the puddle and you'll accumulate tons of it. What I need though, is a steady source of Neurochemical Extract!
  18. Well, here's the C-211 Assault Saboteur http://imgur.com/9JAA9
  19. Ah yes this fight. What I did was slowly whittle one down with interrupts, then when I had enough confidence I could burst it down, harpooned and interrupted it to the opposite side of the pillar so the guards LOSed each other. Didn't keep the other guard from running around to try to heal his buddy, but it bought me enough time to kill the one at least.
  20. I've been trying to get the shield+ purple tanking implant. I got the accuracy+ purple schematic unreasonably quickly. About 80 attempts later (with only 1 crit) I apparently learned two purple schematics, but apparently I already knew the schematic BOTH TIMES so nothing was learned. Imagine that, learning the same damn schematic 3 times over on whatever low chance it is, when there's at least 4 possible. Gah. Anyway... RNG is RNG, unless it's only possible to learn one purple schematic or something.
  21. I don't remember exactly where I got it, but the C-211 Assault Saboteur looks really nice if you're more into semi-realistic looking rifles. http://www.torhead.com/item/fgZSrpE
  22. For the maximum affection gain, you have to give them level-appropriate gives. Obviously (for some) if they are at high affection already and you give them a low level gift, you will get diminished affection. However, if you give them a gift that is too high for their current affection (say, a lv5 gift when they are at 2000 affection) then that potential gain will also be reduced. Where those thresholds are, I really can't say though, but it was around 1750-1800 for rank 1 gifts petered off.
  23. Don't forget you can buy units for Fleet Commendations from the Starship vendors. The power conversion unit available at lv25 is a HUGE damage upgrade. Huge. That being said, I got my butt handed back to me on the lv45 missions several times before I broke down and bought the rank 5 kit (rank 3 recommended, no frigging way)
  24. The problem with not having dps meters (or even SOME way to measure your own damage) is that, for those who say they do great damage, how do you -know- you are doing great damage? You could be getting carried by the guy next to you and not even realize it! How do you know the guy next to you isn't just spamming auto-attack other than by observing nonstop? How do you know the healer next to you is healing the tank and not picking his nose (other than the tank dying)? How do you know he's not spamming too many inefficient heals? How do you know if the abilities you are using are optimal for taking things down? Endgame, these are all important. I could care less about levelling up, since questing and low-level flashpoints are pretty easy for now, but at level cap when the only way to improve is by gear and l2p, the l2p part needs more than blind faith that the guy next to you knows what he's doing. That being said, all I kinda want while levelling is a target of target display. And for the bank to autostack items. And a functional AH UI.
