  1. endgame is an utter joke, won't be subbing at the end of this month.
  2. RNG is the most stupid thing ever, I've gotten well over 100 bags since launch. maybe even 150+. and still missing 3 pieces of gear. I've gotten 5-7 of each of the other pieces already and its becoming ridiculous.
  3. Go to settings and controls. turn action que to 0.0. it helps a lot.

Honestly, I don't think sustained damage from combat is all that bad. form what i've seen blade rush damage gets similar results to slash with watchman. and the ataru procs can match burns without zen. bladestorm needs a boost. as a guaranteed criter, it barely does more damage than merciless slash base which is rediculous. and we need a form of survivability, watchman gets heals, focus gets heal from resolute and higher resist. we get nothing.
  8. I've switched builds about 20 times now, and IMO combat is the least effective tree, because it is the least survivable. Increase Bladestorm damage by about 30%, our single burst ability should be doing 3500-4000 a hit with full BM gear to a target of equal gear, 2600-2800 per hit is simply not enough, especially when classes like snipers, ops can pull over 5k. Increase maximum duration of rebuke by 15-30seconds. yes, almost 100% potential uptime, but can still be turned off if not refreshed if played against smart. This is more than fair considering in a 30sec fight a watchman could generate 30%+ in heals and Focus can generate 10% heals from using resolute and 7% increase in resistance. Combat sents are the true melee tree, relies on 100% direct damage on target, no DOTS. It needs a bit more survivability and burst compared to watchman/focus.
  9. 567k damage on 16kills is nothing to be impressed about. it just means you are killing too slow and putting too much damage onto a target that is getting healed too much. damage in pvp is meaningless, its all about how fast you kill. as much as I like to believe watchman does more damage, I simply don't feel it's true. combat does just as much damage. with the higher accuracy blade rush does roughly the same damage as slash. the ataru procs match burns without zen running. bladestorm>merciless slash. more range. higher average damage. 6 seconds burn is by no means burst damage, 6 seconds is a very long time in pvp. enough to take someone from 50% to zero. or for healers to heal him to full. I play watchman for only one reason, the build in heal. I have a base crit rate of 30+6% from insight. and 15% to burn crit chance from juyo. thats 51% crit chance on burns with each tick healing 2%. it heals me for 10% every 15 seconds pretty easily, that's a insane survivability increase.
  10. it's not a complaint, it's a question, I wan't to know how it is computed so I know if it's working as intended or a bug that requires fixing. If it's a bug than this is a significant dps advantage over the other 2 trees that wasn't meant to be.

  12. Completely segregate PVP and PVE, by that I mean the whole ideology of it! You need to Clearly define what is PVP and what is PVE, what is the purpose of either game play style. Completely remove gear farming from PVP, make them not usable in PVE, or add a PVP slot to standard gear that gives PVP stats that only activate when shooting/defending from another player. To all the people who say that people will quit because getting all their top tier gear after 3 weeks will make them bored and quit the game, YOU ARE NOOBS AND NOT PVP'ers. A PvP'ers goal is to find new tactics n strategies to beat another player/team, to practice executing those ideas to become better PLAYERS, not to farm gear and to think they are uber because they have a STATISTICALLY HIGHER PROBABILITY OF WINNING REGARDLESS OF SKILL/ABILITY. Stop comparing to WoW PVP, Wow is not a PVP game, Starcraft is a PVP game, EVE Online is a PVP game. Good fights are what keeps a PvP'er in the game, not new eye candy crap! PVE is basically figuring out a puzzle, you find how to best overcome bosses, and to do it faster and more efficiently, at higher difficulties. This is where gear farming should be placed, not PVP. PVE is what constantly requires new content, and new things for people to figure out, if you get behind on this, people will get bored and quit. Gear is the means to an end, not the end it self, if you don't realise this, than your game will inevitably fail. Copying WoW, because WoW is commercially successful will not make you successful, why? because you are not unique, if you can take WoWs business by copying them, someone else can copy you and take your business, if you have nothing solid to offer than you have no staying power. Eye candy is what reels in new customers, a solid offering is what keeps those customers.
  13. How does that have anything to do with my Math ability? the numbers I wrote is exactly what the ability showed when I put my mouse cursor over it. and it IS NOT close to 10%, it is far and beyond over it. which is why I asked the question.

I tried a hybrid build like this. the burn+high critting slash build is extremely focus weak without burning focus. your basically replacing MS with a high cirt rate spammable slash but you need alot of focus to keep it going. this is what I suggest. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501bIbRroMfMZZGr0rz.1
  15. It seems to be that Watchman counters Combat, Combat counters Focus, and Focus counters Watchman. Watchman is high sustained dps with sustained heals. little utility, it will win a 1v1 against combat from higher endurance in the fight. Focus will simply kill it too quick for heals to really kick in significantly but focus isn't sustained dps, exhaustion will enable the focus user to slow and damage the watchman while building singularity than sweep for massive damage, followed by blade storm+stasis and another sweep. At this point pretty much dispatch and its over for the watchman. Combat is sustained high damage without build up time, no significant bursts, and doesn't have the healing like watchman and will die, but against focus it seems perfect. Exhaustion and Sweep are the focus user's primary abilities. both of which get perfect countered by fleet footed which completely counters exhaustion, both eliminating its damage/slows and also prevents singularity from building, defensive roll cuts aoe damage of sweep by 30%. which is huge! Thoughts?

I don't believe watchman does more damage than combat. burns are not that good unless they crit. they're good for pve because they also heal. which makes you survive longer and be able to solo champions that were meant for more than 1 person. focus definately lacks in sustained damage for pve, it's a utility pvp tree that has 100% uptime for speed to the whole group, and amazing aoe damage.
  17. combat damage is just lackluster, utility wise is does have a few major skills. rooting from cripling throw, -30% from aoe damage, and cloak removes snares.
  18. It says 2% more damage per successful melee attack, stacks up to 5 times. my slash has a base of 1342-1589 and after 5 stacks it's 1653-1953. that is not even close to 10% bonus.
  19. I think you are just bad, I destroy assassins and sorcerers, only real class I have issues with are snipers since I can't leap to close range.

  21. SWTOR isn't and will never be a competitive pvp game. Bioware doesn't have a clue when it comes to PvP, they make awesome storylines and single player experience n tried to port that over to a MMO.
  22. watchman is the absolute best for pve, for pvp imo it is pretty lackluster, it may get high damage in warzones but damage in warzones honestly means nothing, it's all too situational.
  23. use focus for pvp. combat doesn't hit hard enough. bladestorm isn't enough of a hard hitter and blade rush damage is too low.

I just don't think blade rush is that good. the base damage is too low and even with the ataru proc it's barely over slash in shi-cho. force exaustion is devastating. thats about 8500 damage alone, costing a total of 4 focus.
  25. surge sux, effectiveness beyond 100% bonus basically halts. if you have a 30% to burn/force crit. a surge adrenal is basically useless. go power.
