When i log on to the test server it says i'm not allowed to use it. I don' know why it does that but i really want to use the test server.

Now if at least 100000 people assumed this, do they all lack reading comprehension as many believe in this thread OR was the advertising wording poor at best ? If we did a survey how many would agree that it was poor wording ? Something to ponder. LIKE I SAID OVER AND OVER, I COULD CARE LESS. At the same time I dont dismiss people for being upset because you have to see it from their perspective.

Exactly, but I might be arrogant in my assumptions that everyone wont be in tommorrow. Like I said, I could care less but a 12 year does care. It is a very good lesson to him because I didn't say anything to him until he asked about it. I pointed him to the fine print at which point he told me that they lied. I explained it to him and he was ok with it. I told him the 20th is what he needed to focus on and to not expect it any sooner. The game was his reward for good grades this semester and will continue to be the carrot =) After thinking about it however, I came to see it from his perspective, hence the reason I posted. It is a bad day and blind thinking to assume everyone doesn't bring something to the table. A little open mind thinking goes a long way.

Read, read, read. This is not a QQ thread it is simply saying alot of the people that are angry do have a reason why. To state that people are angry for no reason does marginalize how they are feeling. As of tommorrow when everyone doesn't have access then can we say "you have been deceived and now your money belongs to us !!!" LolL

My reading is quite good, but unfortunately you didn't read the original post obviously. As I said many younger people were deceived, which means that something they thought was promised is not there. I was not deceived as I read the fine wording at the get go. As another posted stated this probally belongs in tommorrow when access is still not given to all. Of course I could be failing from some sort of hindsight bias, but I will make that prediciton at least.

You are right guess I am one day ahead of this. For the other poster here as well, yes it is a pointless thread, but why support something you think is morally wrong ?

I thought about this hard. Their wording made the younger generation to believe that they would clearly get 5 days early access. The true meaning is that you could get 0-5 days early. I am of the older generation of MMoer and don't really care when it opens, it will be the same level of enjoyment to me regardless. Just because someone is served before me in the fast food line doesn't mean I wont get my food eventually. The bad thing is that it was a very deceptive way of getting everyone to pre-order, which of course is motivated by making sure they have cash-in-their-pocket investment. My son was fooled, his friends were fooled, unfortunately I just sat back and figured the access meant saturday at the earlierst and possibly not at all. 5 bucks when you work on average 60 hours a week doesn't hurt me much. HOWEVER, MMO players in general dont want to be behind when it comes to character progression and alot of their unique names they have played with for years have been taken. This is probally the two things the community is very upset about. Believe me guys, I use to be one of you until i realize games weren't very important. It took years for me to get over being this way, so I wont berate you for your current state. I dont write this because of any digust on my part, but for the digust my son has as do many other people that re-arranged their schedule so they could play. I am currently chopping wood and taking a break from it myself and gotta get ready for work. Very deceptive gentlemen and ladies (yes you bioware). See the rest of you in game. Do remember that Bio-ware isn't wholly responsible for the marketing. Get that taste out of your mouth and go do something for the rest of the week, this is going to resolve itself. I guess try to get to the newest server for your names and for character progression. Force be with you always.

6th here, son talked me into coming here. Probally do the story line, hit level 50 then run back to everquest to my enchanter =) Probally one month subscription is about it for me. I hate easy games, but love how bioware does story lines. Worth my 60 bucks =) Plus my son got his grades up to A's and B's so he could play, muhahahaha.

Bah it took years =)
