  1. Great video, thanks for taking the time to put it together. Quick question - I have watched several streams of full BM assassins that are Deception spec, and do similar dps as you do. I have about 75% champ gear now (valor rank 56) and haven't seem the same numbers as you guys throw out, with 3-5k crits on shock/discharge and about 2.5 with both hits from Voltaic. For this reason, I spec more into a tank/hybrid build to compensate and it allows me to perform much better overall. Is Deception really only viable in BM with higher crit/surge, or am I doing something wrong? Thx
  2. I use a Focus as well. Dark Charge is still better for PvP IMO, because of Guard. But I haven't tried out Harnessed Darkness yet. I just love the instant 8 second stun too much, despite how much I love to use Force Lightning.

  4. By the way. After reading more posts, if you guys are PVPing and not using Dark Charge - You are bad. You should be guarding people alllll day (3 medals), and Dark Charge gives waaaaay too many benefits to use Lightning. Guard wins games. Period. A lot of you are missing the 8 second instant whirlwind stun, which is worth it by for over Wither when coupled with Death Field. (at least as of now).
  5. I would go with something more like this. Some of the fillers you chose in your original post are a little questionable and I think you get more out of a build like this: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#200rcrokdskZoZf0cRrM.1 I haven't tried out Wither yet (waiting for patch), but Death Field is very strong right now. Huge damage, costs less force and heals you for a small amount. The instant Whirlwind is SO NICE for Warzones are well. Getting of an 8 second cc, instantly on a healer, or someone trying to knock you off from scoring the huttball... I don't take Raze, because in game it actually requires that you have Lightning Charge on the target, and then it applies the 33% chance to proc. I never use Lightning Charge because Dark Charge is far far superior. But yeah, this build is sick. Lots of dps, and huge survivability.

  7. I never said I was entitled to anything, except my own opinion of what I see is wrong with the game. Please point out where I said I should be given something another player has worked hard for. There is a line between whining and constructive criticism - it wasn't crossed in my post. I never said a word about losing a warzone, dieing from tracer missile spam, or anything of the sort. I don't make excuses for those things either. I'm trying to help build a better game, which is a lot more than I can say of people like you. But thanks anyway, troll.

  9. Yeah I think thats a good idea. Either way, they need to increase the ways in which players can accomplish their PvP quests in Ilum, while simultaneously increasing how Republic and Empire players engage with each other. Decreasing the size of the zone and increasing the incentives for players to go there is one way to help solve the problems in Ilum.
  10. Increasing Armament spawns helps Republic players. It allows them additional ways to accomplish their dailies/weeklies. Republic players rarely control the central assault, and having more armaments at southern/northern spreads players out and allows the Republic more incentive to actually leave their base and engage with the Empire for control of the armament spawns at Southern Assault. This plan should also be considered hand in hand with the fact that Ilum is WAAAAAAAAAAY (emphasis on the way) Too Big. It needs to be shrunk down considerably. Its way to hard to find opponents to engage right now, especially since the population has a cap now.
  11. I've gotta say that I really disagree. Keellourigim makes a great point. You can choose to compete in arenas, or not. It doesn't hurt PVE, in fact, it helps PVE because Arena players are looking to compete for the best gear possible... whether that is good or bad is up for debate. It doesn't have to be the same system from WoW (although that system has been, overall, very successful). I just want some way to actually compete and be ranked against other players, in a small, tight knit group of coordinated players. I want to be able to compete with my buds.
  12. Cross Realm PvP isn't a bad idea. Especially for the poor Republic folks who can't get a queue for hours and vice versa.

  14. I appreciate the response. I understand your argument for the bag system, for sure. But I think some way to actually compete would be much better than the current bag lottery fiasco. If not arenas, 4v4 warzones that are rated and ranked. I also would love to see something like the nagrand arena added, where players compete in a free-for-all for a large reward. Some of the very best PvP ever came from the epic duels in the free for all arenas. I don't get the hate on arenas either.
  15. I think a lot of folks would appreciate some acknowledgement at the very least that their ideas are being heard. Furthermore that current issues are being looked at and solutions are being pursued.
  16. You have some really good ideas about solutions to avoiding the classic huttball farm. I like the surrender, and I like the earn x medals as well, which helps with pugs. Great ideas.
  17. What you're saying has happened to me before as well. Its really frustrating, other than the fact that its a quick way to grab valor when the game ends a couple minutes later. This is exactly what I want to fix with deserter penalties. I'm not saying you won't get farmed in Huttball, I am saying that at least the one's trying won't be penalized when people decide to quit early because they can't make something happen.
