Only thing I could suggest is check out all the guilds on your list to see what their raiding schedule is like. Some guilds could offer different raiding times to accommodate their members.

Not sure about contrast. I played, and raided as both Alliance and Horde in WoW. As for TOR, I'm sure I'll eventually level an Empire toon to 50.

I already invited a bunch of friends over two years ago. The reward was starting up a guild. Win win! Anyone else I know that may be interested is smart enough to do their own homework and decide for themselves if they want to play.

*shrug* Some will love WoW and some will love TOR. There are those of us who actually love both. The Worgen starting area you are referring to is a linear quest line to level 15 or so to give you the background to the race. Sorry, if you got lost there you're better off sticking to TOR. If you don't like to read, then yes the story will be lost on you since no one is there to read it to you. Honestly, I'd sometimes prefer quests like that and save my space bar a lot of grief. Honestly, the (insert MMO)/TOR comparison posts grow tiresome. Play the game you love to play and help make it better.

Not sure about any other guilds on our server since I've been in the same one since pre-launch. We don't seem to fit any of the types you listed. We have members who are very interested in hardcore raiding and others that are taking a more casual approach to the game. However, I've found members more than willing to help each other out whenever possible.

I can't speak for AO, but the leveling in WoW is so nerfed now you can sneeze and gain a level. I leveled a toon to 40 in less than a week just by doing quests. If you start doing dungeons you quickly out level your professions if you're trying to keep them up. Yes, I totally agree with this. If the loading screens would be faster it would be a bit easier to overlook Yes! You shouldn't be told what professions you can take. If you choose to take 3 crafting professions that should be your prerogative. It would help the game's economy as well if you had to venture to the auction house for materials. The crafted armour in WoW is all but useless now. Between the newest heroic dungeons and the looking for raid feature, everyone is dripping in epic gear. I am enjoying this game as well too. I'm just a little disheartened to see how the server populations have dropped so dramatically in such a short time. I've been here long enough now to see many TOR vs (insert MMO) comparisons. Yes, TOR is new and I have great respect with how much work creating this MMO was/is. However, the polish that other MMOs have now are what a lot of people have come to expect.

Anytime my companion threatens to leave after I off someone. He keeps promising but never does.

Hey Dink, With the remodeling of the guild hall are you going to need a new link to our recruiting posts?

I think they may be still pointing to the Guild HQs which don't exist anymore. Dink sent out an email to the guild leaders so we can send him a link to our recruiting threads (which he's attempting to use now). It could be that he's just not done updating the quiz. I'm sure this is a huge undertaking to say the least.

For those who are still looking for the right guild try this quiz out. It could relieve some of the frustration you may be having right now.

Would love the option to move the guild to a lower population server, assuming that's what the majority of the guild wanted. Like others, our guild was formed before the Guild Hall was even created and then we were assigned a server which is now full and has been since prelaunch. Give us a list of servers to transfer to that are light population, make it a one time deal, whatever it takes. I understand the growing pains of a new MMO and I'm not complaining but it would be nice to have another option than having to reroll.

How about having a full server being chosen for you, and I mean a queue of 800+ pre launch.
