  1. Not yet, no. Only hit 50 a few days ago. Should I focus more time in Op flashpoints than Ilum/Warzones?
  2. I want them to lower the requirements just because nothing ever registers. Win 10 warzones to get credit for winning 3. Kill/armament 45 times to get credit for 30. If they're not gonna register, then lower the requirements. Or, ya know, fix it so they actually register. We've been told 3 times now that it's 'fixed' to no avail.
  3. So I beat the game, got the 67 datacrons and the +10 fleet datacrons. I've got about 40% Champion gear. How else do I improve my stats? Is it just through ultimately acquiring full Battlemaster gear? I mean I saw an Assassin with 22k health and a Smuggler who could do 7k damage to me in one crit hit. And I'm sitting at 1300 STR and 1193 END (About 14.5k health) all unbuffed. Seems like they're leaps & bounds ahead of me. Is it all gear? And is it all Battlemaster?
  4. I never said it was always happening with our enemies, I've seen teammates on my team having the same luck. I've just kinda watched it and scratched my head. I'm decently geared (almost full champion (1-2 Centurian pieces) + 67 Datacrons) I have no problem getting around 40+ kills per game and hitting the 75k within the first few minutes. I'm just kinda curious whenever I see a mercenary (Friend or foe) fiddling with his wrist and seeing his health build as he's being attacked (Or even standing in a hazard).
  5. I think it has a lot to do with gear/datacrons/etc. Some people, like you said, can't last a few seconds while others I've seen are like a God that requires a decent number of people (Or multiple disrupting stuns) to take down.
  6. I've noticed a few classes -Mercenaries, sages, etc.- have the ability to heal themselves in-combat with an ability. I've also noticed they can just stand there and heal themselves while taking on massive amounts of damage, from multiple enemies, and still build a positive amount of health. Even when using bleed attacks and recovery reducing abilities, it doesn't seem to phase them one bit. It's also annoying that attacking them doesn't disrupt their healing process. It looks pretty dumb when they're just standing (or running) fiddling with their wrist, while 3 people are hammering on them with sabers. Sure you can disrupt them with CCs but as a Warrior you only get 2 CCs, which means they can unleash 50% of your stuns (If you even have any stuns out of cooldown). And it's not like the Sage or Mercenary class is in any need of being able to massively heal themselves. I could understand if they had some weaknesses like low health or something that warranted this ability, but it just seems like overkill. Makes having team healers almost useless if certain classes can be their own healers while fighting.
  7. I've been watching videos on youtube and people have the ability docks not only on the bottom of the screen, but the sides too. I would like to add them to clean up my main dock, how do I do this? Ive looked around in preferences but didn't see anything?
  8. Every single game I see this by them (on my team and opponent's) : Run through their own side's flames, through their acid pool, grabs Huttball, run's through second acid pool, through other side's flames, and score. Their health never falls below 70%. How is this possible? Some kind of exploit? I basically hit the acid/flames for 1 second and my health is pretty much below 60%.
  9. Ok, so I got to Baras, which I assume is the final boss fight. So in the first skirmish I kill him effortlessly. He can't even damage me 5%of my total health. Second fight however, he can kill me from 100% health in 1 force scream. How? He still can't hurt me very badly, but when he roars I go into instant death. Is this normal? What do I do to counter this completely random move of instant defeat? I mean the learning curve of this battle just blew right off the charts. Baras goes from being completely ineffective in harming me, to swatting me off the face of the universe without even trying!
  10. I can't get past the second-to-last boss battle because my Marauder is too squishy (Level 50. Around 1300 Str and 965 End). I come close to winning but fall short each time. My problem is Quinn is moderately well equipped for 'Cunning' which I assume makes him a better healer? but he only heals me for like 100-200 with a rare 500-600). I even use my Call on the Force healing, but the boss basically tears my health to shreds once I get him down past 50% of his health. So how do I improve quinn as a healer? Is Cunning the correct stat to be focusing on?
  11. I've actually been quite fortunate thus far, except for a n00b mistake. I accidentally redeemed "Champion Vindicator Boots" as Heavy Armor instead of Medium Armor. I was told I could create a ticket and get the token (Or Medium Armor boots) back. Anyone know if this is true. Or do I gotta head to the Galactic Market with my useless boots?
  12. Hey all, I just reached lvl 50 and am new to the whole Champion gear redemption process. I had gotten a token for "Champion Vindicator Boots" and I went to the store and redeemed the "Champion Vindicator Boots". Afterward I realized it was heavy armor, and after looking through the list I noticed there was a second "Champion Vindicator Boots" for medium armor. I then realized that there was 2 types for each, a bit too late. I was told that I could submit a ticket to customer service to have the situation rectified. And apparently we're allotted 3 item fixes per 6 months. Is this true? Would creating a ticket get me my token back (Or at least replace my Heavy Armor boots with Medium Armor ones)? It's just the store is so confusing! I still don't know why there are two identical STR implants by the same name (Only one is called an "implant" and the other is a "package" (Otherwise both are categorized as implants and have identical stats).
  13. I recently just switched from Annihilation to Rage, and have been happy thus far. One thing I like the most is Crush compared to Annihilate. Annihilate was great, but you needed to be close to the enemy and the move's animation took FOREVER, so a lot of the time you'd lose range or get CC'd before you could get the move off. With Crush it's more ranged and instant. Haven't tried Carnage yet, but I imagine eventually I'll try respecing in that to see how it is. As for people posting as if there's a 'correct response' to which spec you choose. . .There isn't. All 3 specs are good in different ways. Pick the one that fits your playstlye best and have fun.
  14. I don't understand how people don't get the concept of Champion bags? You're not supposed to get good stuff all the time. Otherwise, you'd complete your Champion gear in less than a day, and you'd be done playing until the next expansion. Then Bioware would lose subscriptions and wouldn't be less inclined to release more expansions. It's supposed to take time/effort because then you actually feel accomplished when you finally do get something good and it adds endgame value for playing. tl;dr It's a gambling system. You're not supposed to hit the jackpot every single time you play, otherwise it wouldn't be gambling.
  15. The reason it's a problem is because PvP is objective based, not a deathmatch. Killing him for being immobile doesn't win the game. He can just spam the capture/defense points from a distance and lead his team to an easy victory without even using a strategy/skill. Just spamming an over-powered technique that disrupts objectives.
  16. I'm curious how my character is developing. Currently my PVE Str is like 988ish (I don't remember what my PvP is, but it's like 1050 or something? Anyway here's how my character stands: Level: 49 (About 80% left until 50) Armor: No PvP all about lvl 47 armor. Datacrons: 67/67 (Still need to acquire the +10 Fleet Datacrons) Haven't yet done my Matrix Shard relic (Will probably do the biggest Str one (GGG?)) Are there any lvl 50s with full champion armor or all datacrons that can post their attributes so I can see if I'm on the right track? Am I wrong to be focusing solely on Str?
  17. The biggest problem is the ranged classes. They're way too powerful for having the additional range advantage. That's supposed to be the whole (and only) advantage of range: You get 'free shots' on your enemies before they can get within range to begin attacking you. Instead, ranged classes get all the free shots AND have ridiculously over-powered close-combat melees (Scoundrels and Operatives getting multiple melee hits of 5-6k+ is ridiculous). Not only that, they have all the CCs, barriers, and knockbacks to keep close combat melee players at a distance (Which goes back to their initial class advantage: Range). Add in fields like Huttball with clear ranged combat/knockback advantages (The scafolding areas), and it's just completely imbalanced. tl;dr Ranged classes get to have their cake and eat it too. Got my 67 Datacrons, but the Warrior class (Marauder particularly) is STILL pretty weak (Needs the greatest buff of ALL the classes bar-none). Although I'm not lvl 50 yet.
  18. Are these intended aspects of the game (Like Datacrons that require 2+ players), or are these glitches? I managed to luck out on Alderaan as a small guy came around and was willing to help me. . .But on Corellia, it's a level 50 area and I don't see many folks around. And to make matters worse, all the graphics aren't loaded. Everything in the datacron area is invisible. So I guess what I'm asking, is should I do the incredibally cumbersome mission as is, or if I wait does Bioware plan on fixing these? Seems absurd that they're preventing you access to areas based on the physical appearance of your character (Especially when they made no point of mentioning that aspect on the creation scree!). I'm waiting to be denied access because I have a character with blue eyes.
  19. Yep got the same problem on my Marauder with Annihilation. First it's glitchy, even striking stunned opponents he draws his sabers upward. . .Then just sets them gently back down as if he got bored of fighting. And if it doesn't glitch, when my enemy sees me lift my sabers, he/she just casually walk away out of range. Marauder is so slow, I basically try to chase after them with my sabers in the air. Doesn't work unless Force Charge is cooldown and I can slow them for a bit for the painfully long animation to take place.
  20. I've noticed this is a new effect of my 'paralyzing scream' as a marauder. I'm not sure if it's a bug or an actual balance to the game (It's not permanent. Character immediately stand back up after 6 seconds or taking damage)? If so, it makes sense to give the warrior a CC, since he only has 1 and it's channeled (He can't attack while using it). Every other class gets like 4 CC, now the Warrior gets his/her first.
  21. Totally agree. I was playing a game, so a guy with basically 1 sliver of health. He entered his healing mode (Which prevents you from moving), I ran up to finish him. . .And he stealths. I know exactly where he is, he's right in front of me, I had him targeted, but I can't do a damn thing to him. They should at least allow some AOEs to shock them back to our plane of existence.
  22. . . .How do you nerf, that which is already nerfed?
  23. The current field heavily favors Inquistors and disfavors Warriors. The rest have it pretty easy as well because they're ranged attackers, but the Warrior class is really crippled by the field alone (Before you even address the "Over-powered" classes). Basically they just camp the scaffolding areas on each side. Lightening blast Warriors, when the Warrior force charges up, they immediately push them off (Before the have a chance to reposition or counter), then continue lightening blasting them. Force Charge is ALL the Warrior class has, as far as maneuvering goes, and it's useless. Same goes for enemies with blasters. They can put up their little shield and nullify the force charge (It's pretty stupid, you can't even force charge them from the rear which is WIDE OPEN. The little frontal shield provides full 360 degree protection). Also, the "Attack Power" : "Attack Range" ratio in this game is the TRUE imbalance. The whole advantage of range is being able to attack from a greater distance. You get a TON of free shots, before your enemy can get within range to attack you. Instead, in this game, you get all the free shots from a distance (You even have abilities to keep your opponent at a distance), but you're still godlike at close combat (Scoundrals doing 4k-5k consecutively? BS!). There NEEDS to be some sort of trade-off, they can't have BOTH it's just a complete imbalance. Either shorten their range, or reduce their close-range damage. They can't have their cake and eat it too.
  24. I got REALLY lucky with this one (Which makes up for my lack of luck on Hoth, when I was told I couldn't get the Strength +4 because I wasn't "eligible for this conversation" whatever that even means!? ) Shared it with my whole guild (And some lucky bystander). Basically two spots that I hit quite frequently (Sorry I don't have the coordinates) : 1. In "The Tomb", go to the Republic Medical Droid, there's a path right next to it, on the otherside of that path is a small groove in the wall. One spawns there. 2. While near the Ruins entrance (Where you cash in the cubes), if you go straight through the path (It's guarded by 3 Rakata on each side), and turn right, there's a little hilled pathway that leads to a circlular area. I got 3 of the there, alone.
