  1. I had no idea this was going on. I also still am not 100% certain exactly what the bug was but from reading the thread I gather people were vendoring and item repeatedly by buying it back for much less than they sold it to the vendor for. I had noticed that the patch was being deployed probably pretty early as I was disconnected around 8pm EST. If someone who had already been doing this noticed that the patch was coming without any prior notice and without a reason I am certain they would realize that this is the reason for the patch and then they would also realize that they have about 7 hours left to keep doing this. I would say people could have earned over 20million in this time. These credits must be removed from any and all players who vendored this or any item repeatedly as an exploit. Bioware please let the community know you have done this. I understand not handing out bans or suspensions or even warnings considering the mistake was on Bioware's end but if the credits are not removed from any and all players who have taken advantage of this then it really puts them heads and tails above other players in the game. Sure you can say it is only credits but credits can be used to instantly gear a fresh lvl 50 from quest greens to Denova Hard Mode ready. Given the amount of Credits people could have possibly made it would have been possible to do this for multiple toons as well as purchase any mount or item in the game you wished. Players not exploiting would at the very least have to work very hard for a few weeks if not months to be able to acquire so many credits or to gear their characters.
  2. For the people saying this doesn't change pvp it certainly does. I have been in countless warzones where I have not died and I can say without a doubt in my mind that I have been in many Voidstar warzones where I never dropped combat not even once. There are voidstar matches where no one gets a door and there is combat 100% of the time due to the short runback of respawns. I see it being less of an issue in the other 2 maps and also the new one but still an issue as there will be times where you do not drop combat for well over 5 minutes. Also will stealthers be able to reset their cooldown instantly just by stealthing in combat while being shot at? This hardly seems balanced. IF you are going to keep this change you certainly need to reduce the cooldown on the medpacs. Seeing that you sometimes will not drop combat for well over 2-4minutes and then to throw another 90sec or more on top that seems ludicrous. A This change is also yet another nerf to the functionality of biochem. The stims and adrenals have already been nerfed so that they are not the best out there, they really need to be on par with BiS items since most crafting professions can "crit" their BiS items and make them way better than anything anyone else can obtain. Saying we can do so with implants is not the same since we do not get rakata or BiS recipes at all, the best we can hope for is to get lucky with a hard mode raid drop to crit on the columi ones making them only slightly better than rakata if at all. The medpacs were nerfed already as well , making the blue medpacs useable by anyone actually provide more over all healing. Now biochem suffers yet another nerf at the hands of how many times will I actually use this medpac now? Well in an operation you will only really use it for the number of bosses there are so assuming you kill 10/10 on whatever difficulty you will use 10 a week...really not saving much since you only need 10. The better option would be to take the larger heal since 10 are easily affordable and crafted even cheaper. Even if you stick with the reusable rakata medpac your still suffering a nerf since you will be getting the benefits from it much less often.

  4. I self admitting know nothing about software engineering or things of that nature. BUT from my experiences on ilum where I don't get lag until I am smack dab in the middle of the battle where the fighting is I would have to say you are wrong about this. I am asking for a small section , even just like one of the hangars would due, of one of the side ships for people to be able to duel NOT THE ENTIRE FLEET! So the players not witnessing the battle , not even on the same ship would not be effected very much if at all. If you ever witnessed dueling areas in other MMO's they are more or less all near the main game area.
  5. Please try to know what you are talking about before you post on forums. You can not duel on the Imperial Fleet and as far as I know the republic either. If you can duel on the republic fleet then I will modify the thread at once. You can try but it will tell you that you are in a non dueling area. Also how much time could it possibly take to set the dueling area check to yes as opposed to no for a single area on a side ship of the fleet?

  8. I don't believe I said anyone was wasting time. Please read the OP again. If you are not into dueling or PvP then fine that is your choice but please don't flame my thread because of it. Many people actually enjoy dueling and do not consider it a waste of time. Whether or not you do it for the occasional fun time with a friend or for a more competitive nature people still like it. This would actually give people more to do instead of the time wasting you speak of. Not having an easily accessible place that people will be at pretty much eliminates it from the game. I know many PvPers on my server would really enjoy somewhere we could duel one an other without having the interference that is received on ilum and/or outlaw's den if it was ever populated. You can argue that we can do that on almost any planet in the game but that honestly just ruins the spontaneous nature of dueling. You would have to call someone out , name a place and then take 3-5 minutes to travel there. People like to watch the duels and all be in a place where dueling happens. You can see one person duel , do really well and say "Wow I wanna see if I can beat that person."
  9. It would be really great if we could have like a wing on the fleet where we could duel. At the very least make it possible on one of the side ships instead of the main one where all the vendors are. No body wants to go to a planet and hang out and duel but many people would take part in it from time to time if it was a more accessible place like somewhere on the fleet.
  10. Do you pay more than everyone else does a month or something? I have created many tickets and have never received a personal response from anyone let alone been asked to chat with a CSR rep. In some cases , like quest bug's and not receiving due rewards , the ticket was ignored for 4-5 weeks until they patched the bug. Is that how you treat your paying subscribers? Oh thats a ticket cause he is not getting quest rewards , lets ignore it for 5 weeks till we fix it then just simply close the ticket.
  11. Entirely irrelevant post , no one is asking for the dots to be removed , simply not preventing the capping of the objective for the full 21seconds.
  12. Please take your own advice and think before you post nonsense. No one is asking you to remove your entire spec tree. The OP is implying a solution such as not every single tick interrupts capturing objectives. You still get your entire talent tree and all of the damage you were to of done to a player will still be done however only your first 3 ticks or so would interrupt someone from capping an objective. Every class has an ability that cost no resources and does instant damage so you should have no problem preventing captures while you are alive. You should not be able to hold an entire team from capping an objective for 21seconds after your death. To the people saying Dispell and stop QQing , not every warzone will have a healer that can dispell all DoTs the game applies , if your without the right class this is an instant win tactic for the other team.
  13. I have to agree that the 21 second AoE DoT is definitely not fair to anyone involved. You could have 5-6 people capping a turret against 1 defender and even though they killed the defender within 5-10seconds, his AoE DOT clipped them all and now he has 21seconds to return to the turret and do the same thing again. He only needs to be alive long enough to use a single ability , then he can die knowing it wont be capped. 21 seconds is enough time to roleplay walk back to the turret. Yes there are ways around this but with the current state of class balance you have to have specific classes in your WZ group which means there will be groups that have no way of stopping this. Until every healer has the ability to cure/cleanse all debuffs , even if it requires talents, this needs to be fixed. My suggestion has already been said by others in this thread , Only the first few ticks(3max) should interrupt someone from capping an objective.

    I just realized your either 9 years old or incredibly lazy. Why do people think it is ok to post on forums like this..... ppl is actually spelled people believe it or not cos is not a word it is cause or because no1 is not a word , its is two words, no one I mean I understand a few grammar or spelling errors but that is just plain lazy. If you want your thread to be taken seriously by developers or anyone else please show you can take the time to form proper words and sentences. Otherwise people dismiss you pretty quickly assuming your thoughts are as bad as your efforts at forming words and sentences.
