  2. I'm totally fine with bubble-stun being nerfed to caster only. That's all I wanted it for anyway, to give me some breathing room from the melee burst so I can actually heal my team. My main problem with the 2.0 changes is that in addition to nerfing bubble-stun, they also took the knockback root and moved it up near the top of the lightning tree. This makes the 3rd tier in lightning all DPS talents which means that it's not really worth it for healers to put the points in to get to the 4th tier bubble stun. So, for my healing sorc, bubble-stun is not just nerfed, it's removed entirely, as well as having another defensive capability removed (knockback root). That's two short cooldown defensive capabilities removed and replaced with a 3 min cooldown immunity that takes me out the game for 10 seconds. What a joke.
  3. I actually like it being group vs group. That should help alleviate issues due to faction imbalance. However, the issue I have is that there is no incentive from the quests to actually fight anyone. And people end up standing in a line to charge the pylon. New groups come along who might want to fight, but they see a blob of 30+ people in the middle and don't want to get stomped, so they just fall in line as well. It reminds me of the early Illum quests where you had to destroy the walkers to flip nodes. People would just alternate flipping the node since there was no incentive to kill anyone. Eventually they changed it such that you had to get armaments or kill people to get the quest done. That led to more PvP, but faction imbalance made it so that the smaller faction couldn't really get it done. If they change it so that there's an incentive to kill people I think it will be awesome. For example, instead of charging the pylon 4 times, maybe they could change such that you have to charge it and/or kill someone who has a charge 4 times. That would get people to actually start fighting.
  4. It doesn't give the same reward as the daily. Daily gives 100/100, Weekly gives 300/300. It seems like a sufficient reward to me. But, I guess that's a matter of perspective. Or are you referring to some new weekly from 1.7 that I am not aware of yet.
  5. One place I think you should pretty much ignore the healer (except for some CC perhaps) is on Voidstar defense. Cause if DPS is running around chasing their healer, the other team is free to kill your healer. And once your healer is down, the rest of your team will steadily drop. Better for you to try to keep their DPS off your healer. It doesn't matter if their team is alive, as long as yours is too.
  6. My biggest problem as a healer is that when I get double teamed by DPS, it's hard for me to survive. I think DPS should get a 50% debuff when they're attacking the same target as another DPS. What do you think?
  7. Now, I don't typically see sorcs at the top of the DPS charts. However, there is one sorc who is always at the top whenever I've been in a WZ with him. Typically by 100k or more over the next best DPS. Maybe most sorcs are just doing it wrong.
  8. The backlash on bubbles hits resolve. It also lasts 3 seconds, not 5+.
  9. I will be very patient. Bioware can take as long as they want to make the game better. I just won't be paying them any more money while I wait.
  10. Maybe this is what happened to me. I was trying to craft a Hotrigged Speeder Bike. And also had a bunch of mods queued up afterwards. Then I logged off to switch to another character. When I came back later, there was no speeder. But I had a lot of mods. I think there were more mods than would have been possible even if I got 2x on all of them. So, maybe the speeder turned into a mod...
  11. I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to craft a Hotrigged Speeder Bike with Cybertech. I started crafting it, then switched to another character. When I came back, no speeder. I happened to have a handwritten note where I had written down the amount of different Underworld Metals I had. This was so that I knew which missions to send my Underworld Trading character on. I had 94 Ciridium before trying to craft it, and I now have 72 (the speeder takes 22). So, I'm sure the mats were consumed. I tried sending in a ticket, but they wouldn't give me the speeder or the mats back ... The only thing I can think of is that the Speeder requires rank 3 piloting, and I didn't have that trained yet. So, maybe it doesn't let me have it in my inventory. But, if that's the case, it shouldn't let me start crafting it either.
  12. I hope they eventually move to staggered maintenance windows so this can be a non-issue.
  13. Enjoying the event. However, I didn't realize it was going to be one daily per day, per character. So, now myself, and a number of others I know, are a couple days behind. Please extend the event or allow people to do all the dailies.
  14. And do any of these many posts include 1 from Bioware?
  15. Is there a post from Bioware somewhere stating that damage and mitigation cancel out? Not saying you're wrong. But, I'd rather hear it from Bioware. It really depends on how they implemented the damage calculation. For example, if their calculation were: Damage = Base * (1 + (Bonus Damage %) - (Damage Mitigation %)) Then it doesn't cancel out and damage has a boost. If their calculation were: Damage = Base * (1 + (Bonus Damage %)) * (1 - (Damage Mitigation %)) Then it cancels out just fine. Based on the pre 1.2 percentages, I had assumed the calculation was the first one.
  16. I'll throw my hat in the ring. I'd like a Windows Phone 7 security key app as well.
  17. Yes, the republic can win warzones. They win two or three games against my group every week.
