  1. They nerfed the radius from 8 to 5 which means they have lowered the area it covers with 61%. In raids the tank usually pull big packs close together so i guess it will still be a pretty good AOE attack in raids, and the mobs in operations usually resist the knockback effect. On daily quests and in FPs tho i guess it will be pretty useless after 1.2 because the mobs stand to far away from each other from the beginning and if you hit them at the first strke they will be knocked away outside the 5y radius area.
  2. Well UL doesnt cost any heat at all, in fact it lowers the heat and HSM is definitly the ability that does most damage, but it doesnt have any casting time which makes it most expensive in heat. But you wasnt lvl 50 right?
  3. With muzzle fluting its down to 16 heat and yeah i know, in theory with 1.5 second cast and 8 heat vent crit now and then it should be that way, but in real game it isnt that way. I have 32% crit but if i spamm more then 4 TM in a row i am over 40 heat at that 5 TM. But i never spamm 5 TM, its max 3 because then UL proccs or RS is off cooldown and then i lower the heat. HSM is the most heatcost ability but thats the ability i use most rare, i barely only use it if velocity/heat vent is ready or i am at very low heat.
  4. Ah, thx for explanation. So no change at all in that perspective. A stupid question then, why did they change it at all, Power shot have no gain any longer or is there any other reason?
  5. There is alot of people saying that spamming TM at least dont make you overheat? I feel the excact opposit... If i spamm TM i overheat very fast, its 25 heat a cast dudes... So if i not throw in a UL or free RS as soon as its off cooldown i overheat immediatly. I think TM is the ability that makes you overheat at all...
  6. A little bird told me that TM heat is lowerd from 25 to 16, is that correct? If thats true, then you make 9 less heat from TM and you using UL more often, which in fact lowers your heat when using. If anyone had heatproblems before it now looks like its nearly impssible to overheat...
  7. I hope you all only talking about pvp now, because in pve Accuracy is important. Isnt high accuracy usefull against tanks in pvp?
  8. This sounds awesome. Using UL more often will suite me perfect because i use UL everytime its off cooldown already, i think i spamm TM a little too less atm. So i think ill raise my dps just keep on playing as i have done all the time
  9. Well then it is wow and swtor then. Arsenal for pve, pyro for pvp...
  10. Why is people still nagging about arsenal sucking in pvp? It is like in every other MMO, for example wow, there is one pvp-specc and one pve-specc, noone of them is good in both. Simple...
  11. I hope they doesnt nerf tracer missile so much so Mercs will be useless in pve. I dont mind they change some things so you have to go for another rotation and that makes all Mercs go Pyro in pvp, but for pve you still got to go arsenal which for now is very dependent on tracer missile...
  12. Yeah, its ranged i am talking about. What is that 107% Accuracy you talking about? Shouldnt it be 110% (+220)? I think the Rakata gear gives perfect accuracy (i only have 3/5 and both implants and earpiece tho). I have atm +230 Accuracy, i know its 10 too high but better that then too low i think...
  13. I tested playing with 35,6% crit for a couple of days just to compare the heat problems and criticals with the other abilites apart from TM against what i have now, 31,2% and i cant see any big difference in critical hits or heat problems. I think i crit just as much with UL, HSM and RS also so in my opinion going much above 30% isnt worth it. Get crit to 30-32 and leave the rest to surge/power. But of course the aim should be 110...
  14. Yeah, its not the tracer missiles i am worried about, its the UL, HSM and RS i am worried about, will they crit much less with only 30%...?
  15. Some say that a Merc dps should go for 35% crit, and some say that everything above 30% is pointless. The "guides" say that you should go for 35% but if you get all rakata elinimator gear in the game you are more close to 30 then 35. Have Bioware made the eliminator gear wrong or is it true that you dont need to go much above 30% crit?
  16. Oki sorry for the post, finally someone told me that i dont need 110 in basic attacks...its special attacks that need 110......................
  17. Ok sorry for my post, someone finally told me that i dont need 110 in basic attack, its only special attacks thats needed, that makes the thing much much much easier...
  18. The earpiece is awesome, take the eliminator one. The big problem tho is that you dont have accuracy on any of the implants. Its Crit, surge on medic one and surge, power on the eliminator. I have posted the same thread because i too feel that both of them have strange stats because the main thing for merc dps is accuracy that should be 110% for end game and after that 35% crit. After that surge and last power so only the medic one have +crit which is strange. But on the other hand crit isnt that hard to get to 35%, its the accuracy that is the problem imo...
  19. Everyone is talking about server merge because they dont like the server they are playing at. The first step to make more happy players BEFORE any sever merges i think is allowing Character transfer! It is very important to me if there will be a option for that in 1 month or in 6 months.... All i hear is "Bioware are discussing that" I am very tired of that answer, can you at least tell me the earlist possible date character transfer will be allowed?
  20. Atm i have 2 Fervor Nano-Optic Reflex Enhancers, which i really think is awesome! The +69 Accuracy and +69 Crit rocks. Keeping that Accuracy up to 110% and crit above 35% is very hard if i exchange them for the Rakata ones. Oki i gain +53 aim and Surge/power (depending if i pick the eliminator ones or the medic ones) but the Accuracy (and critical loss) is really fatal i think. I have counted on it even when i get more Rakata gear and i can keep the crit above 35% if i remodify some pieces but keeping the Accuracy at 110% i think is very very hard loosing 138 Accuracy... Anyone else that have given this a thought and doenst think that the Rakata implants isnt that good. The earpiece tho is really awesome!
  21. Eh, i havent moved it here...? I wrote this in Story and Lore but a GM moved it here...i dont know???
  22. Ok, now i have relogged and retaken the quest 3(!!!) times and still cant complete it. Have you only maked this quest to upset the players or what?
  23. I dont know where discussion about quests belong, this was the closest thread. Fix the daily quest "Defending the Shipment". Its EXTREMLY annoying having to first shoot yourself to the barrels and finding out that everyone "is already in use". If not quick travel is active you have to run back, retake the quest and then run up again...1 time is no big deal but having to do that every day is annoying and cost time... FIX IT!!!
  24. First of all i really think the game is awesome, but there is a couple of things i think Bioware must change otherwise the number of players will drop very soon. 1. They must start to allow character transfer or server merging, because the servers are too low populated and that makes the servers boring because of silent mainchat and no grouping... People must get the chance to gather up to more highpopulated servers. 2. They must make the flashpoints/operations more challenging especially the flashpoints. You just have to play like 1-2 weeks, then there is no reason at all to play Flashpoints anymore. That makes the mainchat drop silent because noone is lfg anymore and if there is some people playing flashpoints its guildruns... For example yesterday my guildies was offline so i thought i should pug a flashpoint for a change. Between 21 and 23:30 there was 3 groups for flashpoints.. 2½ hours... and there was between 90-130 people on Imperial Fleet. Sad... 3. Fix the crafting! Enough sad... I guess there has been hundreds of similar threads like this before but i just had to vent my experience. The game for me, and like everyone i know playing is 2-3 evenings, between 19-23, a week when its raid, otherwise noone is online...
  25. I AM telling you excactly what i am doing... 3xTM, UL, 2xTM and then UL again if it proccs, otherwise HSM and then i have to use Thermal or vent heat because i am WAY over 40 heat and then spamming TM until HSM is up again or UL proccs. But at that time i am at 70-80 heat... I have tried everything. Thermal velocity just doesnt seem to procc as often as you theoreticly describes... Even if i time thermal and vent heat perfectly i still stand there after 30-40 seconds and both thermal and vent heat is on cooldown and the only thng i can look at is my heat hitting the roof... I hate it... so close quit playing because i have rerolled ones...
