  1. They nerfed the radius from 8 to 5 which means they have lowered the area it covers with 61%. In raids the tank usually pull big packs close together so i guess it will still be a pretty good AOE attack in raids, and the mobs in operations usually resist the knockback effect. On daily quests and in FPs tho i guess it will be pretty useless after 1.2 because the mobs stand to far away from each other from the beginning and if you hit them at the first strke they will be knocked away outside the 5y radius area.
  2. Well UL doesnt cost any heat at all, in fact it lowers the heat and HSM is definitly the ability that does most damage, but it doesnt have any casting time which makes it most expensive in heat. But you wasnt lvl 50 right?
  3. With muzzle fluting its down to 16 heat and yeah i know, in theory with 1.5 second cast and 8 heat vent crit now and then it should be that way, but in real game it isnt that way. I have 32% crit but if i spamm more then 4 TM in a row i am over 40 heat at that 5 TM. But i never spamm 5 TM, its max 3 because then UL proccs or RS is off cooldown and then i lower the heat. HSM is the most heatcost ability but thats the ability i use most rare, i barely only use it if velocity/heat vent is ready or i am at very low heat.
  4. Ah, thx for explanation. So no change at all in that perspective. A stupid question then, why did they change it at all, Power shot have no gain any longer or is there any other reason?
  5. There is alot of people saying that spamming TM at least dont make you overheat? I feel the excact opposit... If i spamm TM i overheat very fast, its 25 heat a cast dudes... So if i not throw in a UL or free RS as soon as its off cooldown i overheat immediatly. I think TM is the ability that makes you overheat at all...
  6. A little bird told me that TM heat is lowerd from 25 to 16, is that correct? If thats true, then you make 9 less heat from TM and you using UL more often, which in fact lowers your heat when using. If anyone had heatproblems before it now looks like its nearly impssible to overheat...
  7. I hope you all only talking about pvp now, because in pve Accuracy is important. Isnt high accuracy usefull against tanks in pvp?
  8. This sounds awesome. Using UL more often will suite me perfect because i use UL everytime its off cooldown already, i think i spamm TM a little too less atm. So i think ill raise my dps just keep on playing as i have done all the time
  9. Well then it is wow and swtor then. Arsenal for pve, pyro for pvp...
  10. Why is people still nagging about arsenal sucking in pvp? It is like in every other MMO, for example wow, there is one pvp-specc and one pve-specc, noone of them is good in both. Simple...
  11. I hope they doesnt nerf tracer missile so much so Mercs will be useless in pve. I dont mind they change some things so you have to go for another rotation and that makes all Mercs go Pyro in pvp, but for pve you still got to go arsenal which for now is very dependent on tracer missile...
  12. Yeah, its ranged i am talking about. What is that 107% Accuracy you talking about? Shouldnt it be 110% (+220)? I think the Rakata gear gives perfect accuracy (i only have 3/5 and both implants and earpiece tho). I have atm +230 Accuracy, i know its 10 too high but better that then too low i think...
  13. I tested playing with 35,6% crit for a couple of days just to compare the heat problems and criticals with the other abilites apart from TM against what i have now, 31,2% and i cant see any big difference in critical hits or heat problems. I think i crit just as much with UL, HSM and RS also so in my opinion going much above 30% isnt worth it. Get crit to 30-32 and leave the rest to surge/power. But of course the aim should be 110...
  14. Yeah, its not the tracer missiles i am worried about, its the UL, HSM and RS i am worried about, will they crit much less with only 30%...?
  15. Some say that a Merc dps should go for 35% crit, and some say that everything above 30% is pointless. The "guides" say that you should go for 35% but if you get all rakata elinimator gear in the game you are more close to 30 then 35. Have Bioware made the eliminator gear wrong or is it true that you dont need to go much above 30% crit?
