I don't understand why anyone ever expects support from this community. However, I do understand where you are coming from OP. I have subbed since launch and just recently ended my sub. I understand what I am getting myself into so I'm not shocked by the restrictions, it just comes with the territory. A lot of MMOs do F2P better but SWTOR gives a F2P a ton of quality story content. Most f2p mmos reserve endgame and quality content to paying customers. I do think the current model is designed to push old "spoiled on perks" subs away. The biggest thing is if this game didn't have those "annoying" restrictions there would be no reason to pay a monthly fee, because it really doesn't offer much outside that red line.

They REALLY listen to there community when it comes to legitimate complaints. They are quick to fix things in game, I think Zenimax has great customer service. That what I really like about it. The Beta was very fun. I actually had an amazing experience the how helpful the community was; even with "simple" questions. I'm not a TES fan really, I have never finished any TES games. This might be the first one I see through. I haven't pre-ordered yet, and I only want to do one sub at a time. I tried the two sub thing for awhile and I realized that it was just not efficient. So I might be officially unsubbing here in a few days.

OP, I saw a new player doing basically the same thing you saw. Instead of taking 5-10 mins whining to the world about it; I took 5-10 mins and showed him a rotation that could help him. He heeded my advice, was thankful and a better player in the end. Games draw in all kinds of people, this could be their first MMO (or even game), and learning it doesn't come magically. Not to mention you don't know their background, they could have disabilities that prevent them from being as good as a normal player. It's sad that helping people is not even noted as an option these days, we all share a common interest that's for sure. As for challenges I found part of the game to be challenging when I go off the beaten path, (e.g. Soloing Dreadseed Champs or 50 FPs before lvl 55 cap ect)

Yea lazy... because time in SWTOR is the epitome of human productivity.

So I saw this pretty cool looking guild made event on the Harbinger and thought it was pretty original for SWTOR (EVENT Link) and it's open to the public Republic and Imperial. This is even more unique because both factions can come together for common enjoyment. Anyone seen or attended any cool events? More importantly who is going to this? I'd make a new character just to check it out.

Rarely but from time to time you can get a non-cynical and helpful answer on these forums. You can get HK and transfer that character/legacy to your new server. It worked for a buddy of mine.

Has anyone with DPS Shadow mains attempted nightmare mode operations? My Guild/Ops group wants me to bring my Infiltration Shadow in a NIM Op, and they think I can do it. If you can tell me your spec and the experience I would appreciate it. I've had an Infiltration Shadow as my main since launch, so I know all short comings. I just want to hear from a DPS Shadow that has tried the NIM mode Ops. Another note, I have every advance class (faction specific), I just like working against the grain. Edit: ment to post this in Shadow forums, my apologies.

I find it strange that people have to explain and justify this stuff. Perhaps reading a book will be less stressful for you. I don't like to be flagged EVERY where I go; but I do like to have options and a good fight every now and then. Ilum western shelf used to have one purpose, I'd say be glad it's a hybrid.

Is this whole thing about Ilum's Western Shelf and the Gree event or is it about everywhere else?

As a "Don't knock until you try it." type of person. I read the post played ,downloaded and played Rift for a few. I will say it's has some insane features right out the door.
