  1. It would be better if they fixed these issues before release. It was a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario because they f'd up, not because we're unreasonable customers. If, within the first 5 threads, they would have been honest and forthcoming about what happened, and committed to fixing it... They wouldn't have been so 'damned'. Heck, I'll even take honesty and commitment now. But instead we get explanations about ui bugs and carefully chosen words about fidelity. They've damned themselves. Do YOU understand?
  2. I have to agree. This issue has been an epic technical failure, and an even worse public relations failure.
  3. Secret World, as I understand it, will not have levels, but you will have to obtain skills.
  4. "The result is that virtual world design follows a downward path of not-quite-good-enough" ^Sums up my feelings completely.
  5. If you order a new Lexus, but it shows up with a terrible paint job, you're not going to just say "well, I don't actually get to see the paint while I'm driving anyway, so it would be shallow to reject the car." You know you'd reject the car, despite the fact that it's against the spirit of the same logic you're using for this issue. Aesthetics matter in videogames, to a lot of people. Especially people who spent a lot of money on their PC components. Especially in a game of which's major selling point is immersion, which is reduced by seeing development's technological failure when you look at your character. You may be fine with it, but I, and many other are not. Continually calling us 'shallow', wont change that, even if it was an objective statement, which it is not.
  6. Power windows don't make or break a car either, but if you order 2012 luxury car that shows up with with manual windows, you're still gonna say 'w t f fix it now'.
  7. On the other side of things, BW can PR-tactic the subject all they want, but that wont stop the continued loss of subs that they may very well end up with. And if they do, they can't say we didn't warn them.
  8. it's probably been posted, but http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r277/UnruheEndlos/TORWOWComparison.jpg
  9. Easy solution- Make cutscene and non-cutscene versions of the dungeons. Group leader decides which one to set the dungeon mode to. Non-cutscene version of the dungeon will only give you lightside/darkside and direction choices, but no dialog.
  10. We were hoping it would be this game to do so.
  11. I'm sorry, but as much as I agree with you guys, I can't help but lol every time I see one of these threads
  12. If not buffing the amount rewarded to these kinds of quests, then please make the option to kill the quest giver for wasting our time.
  13. To be able to move AND resize them would go a long way. They could have easily implemented this into the UI naively like RIFT did. Well, maybe not 'easily', but they could have, and should have.
  14. RAM, like everyone else says, however it probably wont increase your fps at all, if that's what you're looking for. edit: RAM cap, interesting. Well, for under 200$ you could get some neat aftermarket cooling and then OC' the heck out of that old crap
  15. Some of the bugs and lack of certain features (UI is especially bad) is kinda a let down, but I'd still rather be playing SWTOR than WoW. I can't stand the idea of going back to WoW. SWTOR ftw.
  16. Is this an invitation to a pissing match about the accuracy of analogies?
