  1. Music. I love the game in general combat is nice, graphics are fantastic, but not having epic sound tracks in the zones, kills it just a tad for me. Just a minor complaint but some better music ,or more of it rather in the zones would be nice:)
  2. I think will be out this coming week , and possibly the week after but no later...... Bioware knows they have a time margin to get this patch out and they have already stretched it thin.
  3. I love swtor and will most likely stay. I'm just curious who plans on taking the trip back to wow when mop comes and why:)
  4. It sucks balls. Blizzard just did like they do with every xpac . Add a few zones , raise the lvl cap, and add a new race or class. Nothing innovative or game changing really, just same crap under new skin. How people still play that game is beyond me. SWTOR FTW:)
  5. lol really guys check your read me files much in your swtor folder? quad is reccomended to run this at its potential. Wow on the other hand does not and runs/looks about the same. Here are tors requirements. 6. thats recommended not minimum herp derp much?
  7. OH NOES cause you actually had to click it and see what it said? such a tragedy.
  8. OP, who told you or where did you read you need a quad core processor or 4 gb of ram to run this game. You better check your facts before you post. At full settings this game looks so much better then WoW, yea you might not get these cool sparkly buffs and stuff, but the game looks damn good and runs damn smooth. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Im talking reccomended settings for each game. I only need a dual core 2gb ram ati 3850 to max wow out while bioware suggest I need a quad core 4gb ram and atleast an ati 4850 or nvidia equivalent to pump out barely better graphics and a most definately not better running game. How people can't process this through there head is beyond me.
  9. Phenom II 980 3.7ghz 8gb ddr3 1600 570gtx I can max both games out and do it flawlessly but there close and I'm not seeing a justification on bioware's side of things as to why they need double the system to pump out a negligable difference in performance and graphics. Say what you guys want, I don't like that, means Bioware was extremely lazy. So how they going to treat this game in the long run?
  10. Graphics over haul or not WOW in its form today looks very close to TOR but running on much much lower RECCOMENDED system specs........
  11. I'm not saying TOR's graphics aren't necessarily better but that if they are its negligable at best and should run on much lower RECCOMENDED system requirements. The fact I need double the requirements to pump out just an itty bitty more graphics then wow tells me somethings wrong.........
  12. To those replying in a decent manner I appreciate your views:) for some of you others...... I'm running both games on this system amd phenom II 980 3.7ghz 8gb ddr3 1600 nvidia 570 gtx not a beast of a machine but runs both games flawlessly. For the huge difference in system requirements they really don't have much of a seperation in the graphics department ..... thats with both games at there max settings. Here again though just my opinion. Here are a couple screenshots off my comp you guys can't tell me a 2011 game with double the reccomended requirements looks the same or worse as a 2004 game that requires half the requirements. Bioware really messed something up here . http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t406/RSmith9124/WoWScrnShot_011112_122754.jpg http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t406/RSmith9124/Screenshot_2012-01-11_12_32_08_507471.jpg
  13. How a game made in 2004 that runs on a dual core processor, 2gb of ram, and an ati 3850, looks better with all max settings than a game just released late 2011. Now don't get me wrong I love SWTOR, but how this game can require a quad core processor, 4gb of ram, and a 4850 is beyond me. If Blizzard can make a game run and look good on such low hardware, then with TOR"S requirements we should be getting better results and performance then we currently have.
