Ignorance is bliss from what I understand. Let me point a few things out to the ignorant and tell you about development organizational structure. Gabe is the lead. He is the corrdinator between PvP and PvE and as someone mentioned, there has to be someone that does that. Under Gabe is likely a person or persons that specifically handle PvP and PvE separetly. Then under them are the code developers, data managment, configurat management, testers, etc ... Now you know!

Hmm maybe because they haven't found exactly what is causing the problem. Or it could be that they haven't found the best correct solution yet. I don't know, you know regular software development type stuff.

I can't wait until Titan comes out and everyone whines when that game has bugs and/or design issues and they'll be screaming how Blizz screwed up. Or pretty much any MMO that comes out in our life time. It'll be 10+ years before these people realize....."oohhhh so games have always had bugs and/or design issues and always will". I have yet to understand this logic. Everyone bought the game so everyone is allowed to play how they want. If anyone is to blame, it's BW for not making the Reps so bad @ss that when people were deciding who to play, Republic would have been as good a choice as Empire. Now how exactly could that be done? I have no idea, so maybe it's just wishful thinking. With the SW franchise, the only way to stem imbalance early may have been to have a third faction that would be evil like the Empire. Basically split the Empire but call the third faction something else. Anyway I'd like to take back my original post. 1.1 isn't that bad on Port Nowhere, there is still some issues to be worked out but I thinkIlum is better now than pre 1.1. In my first 30 minutes on Ilum, it seemed pretty dumb with the Imps waiting for Reps to come out of their base. Eventually I started roaming around the zone and came across a zerg group of Reps fighting Imps. It was pretty even, both sides pushing each other back and forth between their new spawn points. It kinda sucked as a non ranged but I made due and it was fun.

I was on Ilum 2 last night on Port Nowhere. Initially I thought 1.1 screwed things up pretty bad as I went to the Republic base and the Reps were basically stuck in there while the Imps waited outside and not a lot went down. 50 Sith Jugg by the way. So I left and went roaming about when eventually I came across two zerg groups of Reps and Imps fighting back and forth between their new spawn points. It was pretty cool, not what I expected but it's probably better than the point trading pre 1.1. It is true that it kinda sucked as a non ranged cause all I could do was throw my lightsaber around and attack the occasional person that got to far away from the zerg group.

50 Sith Juggernaut. 1.1 kills PvP on Ilum. At least before there was some PvP happening on Port Nowhere. It's now far more retarded and broken. Unpatch it ASAP please. Seriously, if you can't beat them. Join them. I know I'll be starting two alts (empire side cause my main is imp), OP and Sorc. It's not hard to imagine whole teams of OP's/Scoundrels and Sorc/Sages ruling the lands.

Crafting in this game is kinda stupid easy. All you do is click buttons, move stuff in your inventory and click new schematics to learn from the trainer. Biochem for main pvp toons Cybertech for money on an alt. Artifice for money on an alt. Slicing for money on an alt (granted it's not as good as it was pre-nerf). End of story.

/start thread again Why can't you have the gear and skill? It's been stated before but PvP needs gear to match the PvE gear other wise the PvE'ers would own PvP. You can't have the PvP gear be as good as the PvE gear because then the PvPers could roll over the PvE content, so that is how you get the magic stat that makes PvP gear not as good as PvE gear in PvE situations but better than PvE gear in PvP situations. Also, now that I think about it, why can't a person have neither gear or skill?

It's nice being on a PvP server actually. I haven't had to deal with anything like this. I just know when I see red, I attack. I know I've been attacked but I expect it. No tricking. I have yet to see any camping which is strange. Of course it could be because I'm Imp and we outnumber reps 3:2 on my server. btw I'm level 50. My impression is that it seems like more shady stuff goes down on PvE servers. On a PvP server it's straight forward and everyone knows what to expect. This isn't any fun for the jerks in the world, they want to tick people off and the best place to do that is on a PvE server where most people want to play nice.

Strange. I've been using the same razer mouse for the last 4 or 5 years and I used to go through logitech mouses once a year. Guess it could have been crappy logitech mouse models and I just got a really good razer mouse. /shrug

It's obvious what they should have done. They should have lowered the server caps, so everyone is queuing for hours and hours and then everyone will think that the game must be super amazing that everyone and their mother is trying to play at the same time so they have to sub or they will be unpopular. Take THAT marketing director!!!

Now? As in this is some new belief? No. Anyone who has played PC video games for the last 20+ years knows that bugs (and subsequent fixes assuming it's a strong developer) are just a part of gaming. Some games are less/more buggy than others. I've seen worse/better than SW:TOR however when you consider the size and scope of this game you realize that it's actually in excellent shape compared to most games. Is that to say that it doesn't need work? No. It definettly still needs work, but give it 3 to 6 months. I played games that took over a year for them to be even playable. To anyone who thinks I'm a BW fanboy, not even God can help you.

Don't change Biochem. I just switched to Biochem from Synthweaving. No one else change to Biochem. That is all.

Didn't watch the vid. Biochem? Thought Biochem was increasing everyones max crit to 5-9k dmg.

These two are not bugs/problems. First, two premade groups can coordinate hitting the group queue at the same time via voice chat. They will join the same wz. Not sure what the success rate is. Second, if you control the turrent then there is a speeder option in the spawn point to go directly to the turrent. Both sides have this option.

I thought Biochem was the only crew skill? Wait wut, there are other crew skills?!?!?! When did that happen?

FINALLY!!! Someone is talking about nerfing my class. I was beginning to think I was a dummy and picked the worst class. Yeah lets take away one of the few cool things I get as a warrior. Better yet, lets gimp everyone. Make every class exactly the same, everyone gets the exact same abilities. l2p
