  1. It's funny because pvp should be balanced around team pvp and not 1v1s. Your ignorance to that fact shows in this post. So scoundrels/operatives shouldn't have any stuns at all but sorcerors should be allowed to perma stun lock someone because there's more than one doing it? Are you honestly taking yourself seriously right now, really? 3 second stun that triggers full resolve against a 4 second ranged stun that doesn't trigger full resolve, which one is worse? Riddle me that. Note: For the idiots chiming in here about my sig, I'm pointing out the false assumptions from ArenaNet claiming that players don't enjoy healing, I'm not saying that I don't agree with the way they're making the game. I, like plenty of other healers didn't like the fact that they claimed healers didn't enjoy healing so we pointed it out to them.
  2. Sorcerors/Sages can do it much worse and at ranged, rofl.. The kids in this thread are hilarious. I can be stunned for 4 seconds at range by a sorceror, then have another sorceror stun me again from ranged, finally triggering full resolve but in that time span I was stunned for a full 8 seconds. You tardaloos complaining about a 3 second stun simply ignore those facts, don't you? A 3 second stun that gives you full resolve, while the 4 second stuns don't so you can stun someone again.. How convenient for all of you bads to ignore this simple fact. As a scoundrel healer I run into premades with two sorcerors all the time, that chain stun me for 8 seconds straight while slowing the **** out of me with force lightning spam, so there's no way for me to escape.. Do I come on the forums and cry about it? No I don't..

  4. You don't have an OP because an OP would have known that the cc was 3 seconds and it gives full resolve, so stop lying. God I wish they tied highest level in game characters to people's forum accounts. Then all these claimers and liars would be revealed.
  5. Didn't hit me, I just know that scoundrels/operatives weren't OPd, me pointing out the stupidity of the forum masses and their badness, doesn't translate to this nerf affecting me in the slightest.
  6. What part of "I play a healing Scoundrel, not a dps scoundrel" do some of you tardaloos don't understand? I don't want to see dps nerfed in this game for any classes because it will then lead to healing being nerfed. It will start a never ending cycle of increasing and lowering the ttk, that will destroy the game. The game was finely balanced for team pvp, now it's just going to be out of whack when they start nerfing dps classes. It will lead to a healing nerf that will also affect pve encounters and make it harder for pvers to pve. I don't want this game to fail, but obviously the posters in this thread do. I'm looking at the over all health of the game in the long run.
  7. I'm better than you and anyone else that plays this game. Me and my collective clan of pvpers. We don't ***** and moan to try to get things that might kill us nerfed into the ground, we learn to counter it. We have been doing it for years in MMOs, so you trying to call me bad is laughable at best. I learned to deal with WEs when they were "overpowered" (On my healer mind you, when every other terribad healer in the game was crying about them.) in Warhammer by running in my premade with my clannies, and guess what? Those supposed OP'd WEs were perfectly balanced to me in a team pvp setting. So the bads on here are you moronic nerf herders that believe pvp MMOs should be balanced around 1v1s, when they should be balanced around team pvp.

  10. Nearly every class in the game has a 4 second stun, what exactly is the point of people like you that claim that you can be stun locked to death? Every class can do it, if you don't pop your cc break skill. I get killed by sorcerors all the time while being stun locked to death and not being able to retaliate if my cc break isn't up, do I come here on the forums and cry about it? No I don't because it usually happens when I'm not playing on a team.
  11. You listed everything in the game, so once all the classes get nerfed the game will finally be dead. I want this game to die so badly now because of the people asking for un-needed nerfs to classes. Class balance was fine, they just needed to fix buff stacking and hard cap things like power. I was even fine with sorcerors/sages having that super shield of there's but alas, there will always be the bad forum whiners that cry about everything and anything that kills them because they're bad. Now that scoundrels/operatives got nerfed for absolutely no reason after only 2 days of them being able to test their damage after the buff stacking fix, I want every class to be nerfed into the ground and the game to die. I hate the new MMO crowd that doesn't know anything about pvp balance, MMOs should always be balanced around team pvp, not 1v1s. I still don't understand why people can't understand that concept. Operatives/Scoundrels and every other class in the game was fine because in team pvp they could all be countered and that's what matters, so essentially this game had some really good class balance. Until you forum whiners ruined it. The Scoundrel/Operative nerf, will only be the beginning of a chain of nerfs that will lead to all the classes in the game being nerfed, which would make pve harder so Bioware will start losing pve subs, then the server populations will start dying by significant amounts until the pvpers start quitting and the game dies. That is what some of you fail to understand, you started the chain that usually leads to an MMO's death. All because you refused to accept the social aspect of an MMO and makes friends so that you could pvp in a team setting, making all class balance issues a mute subject. This game was near perfectly balanced around team play.

  14. Yep, anyone who has played a scoundrel/operative dps spec at some point knows that the burst was all they had. Sustained dps is non existent so this nerf will destroy the class.
  15. Why is that, because I don't agree with what the GW2 devs claimed about healing in MMOs? Because I'm not a mindless zombie that thinks everything that developers/corporations do is right and just? They literally claimed that players don't enjoy healing in MMOs, when that clearly isn't the case or people wouldn't be playing healers at all.. So you need to get the hell out of here with your self righteous fanboyism, I will never be a fanboi of any MMO, even GW2 (As much as I love ArenaNet and Guild Wars.). I will call out all the flaws of a game developer, even if it's one I love. The GW2 devs claiming that players despised healing was so wrong that I had to point it out to them.

  17. I didn't realize the cc break skill was a trinket, are you sure you're not playing WOW? This is SWTOR btw, this isn't WOW. Are you saying that there's also pvp trinkets that break CC's too, on top of the cc breaking skill (If there is, can you send me one, please.)? What I'm saying is that scoundrels/operatives could easily be countered because you could break their opener stun and not be stunned by dirty kick for another 8 seconds because you have full resolve. More than enough time to deal with the operative/scoundrel or to get away. It's a hard concept for bad players like you to understand though. There's also things like tanks guarding you (As in putting the skill guard on you that reduces the damage you take by 50%.) and taunting operatives/scoundrels that would make their damage a complete joke. But bad players like yourself don't understand the concepts of team pvp or MMO pvp being balanced around team play.
  18. You ever heard of resolve? It grants cc immunity, an operative opens up on you with their stealth opener, you use your cc break which is on a 2minute CD, that same operative can't stun you again for 8 seconds because you have full resolve from the stealth opener. You can KB, root him, stun him, etc. Then distance yourself from the Operative/Scoundrel and have your team mates anally **** him, that's it. PvP games shouldn't be balanced around 1v1, they should be balanced around teams, it's a hard concept for people like you to comprehend, I know. Classes in MMOs should be balanced in pvp around team play and not 1v1, why players and some devs don't understand this concept still, I do not know..

  20. Because I know how to deal with scoundrels/operatives, that's why. I also know that a nerf to dps, will start leading to nerfs in healing until the game's pvp becomes so terrible that everyone starts leaving. Nerfs like these always cause a chain reaction of nerfs that will destroy the game over all in the future. I have seen this trend since every MMO since UO, every single one. Bioware will be no different because so far they have shown to not be unique from other game developers. Eventually the nerf bat will swing your way, I just hope you're ready to deal with it because you whiners were the ones to eventually bring it unto yourselves. I will still out dps everyone if I'm dps specced because I'm a good player and still out heal people as a healer, even though scoundrel healers are the worse of the three..
  21. They might as well take out the talent that makes the opener a stun because no one will spec into it.. You over nerfed scoundrels/operatives. If you want to nerf the burst damage on the stealth opener down by 20%, that's fine. I'm sure most scoundrels/operatives won't mind. Acidblade/Flechette Round being nerfed down from 50% down to 30% isn't that bad either. One change every scoundrel/operative in the game will not agree with though is the talented stealth opener stun going from a 3 second stun to 1.5 seconds while giving full resolve. That change does not need to go through or you need to make it so that 1.5 joke of a stun doesn't give resolve/cc immunity. A lot of people don't realize that scoundrels/operatives spend two talent points to make their opener a stun, they just assume it could always stun, when that clearly isn't the case. Now you're breaking talents in the game Bioware, either remove the talent or don't go through with the change. That is one of the only changes I will not accept or agree with, everything else is manageable.

  24. I can claim to play a class just like you by going on torhead.com and looking at the trees/skills to try to justify a nerf, does that mean I actually play the class? No it doesn't so you imaginary forum scoundrels/operatives need to stop trying, lol. It gets old after awhile. I can't believe you honestly classified all those skills as CC, learn2lie, please.
  25. I don't need to try those nerfs to know how they will pend out, stop being dumb.. 50% armor penetration to 30%, don't need to try that. Talent that makes the stealth opener into a stun going from a 3 second duration to a whooping joke of 1.5 seconds, while giving full resolve doesn't need to be tested either. Only thing that would need to be tested is the damage of the stealth opener to see if they nerfed it more than 20%, which will most likely be the case.
