Id never pay to transfer off under the current circumstances. Not our fault they rushed out and put roughly 150 servers out to spread the load. Common sense tells you turn-over is a guaranteed thing after the free time included with the game. Now that people have left for whatever reasons, the servers are dead and you expect people to pay to get onto a populated server? Nope, they should merge the servers down to about 40 servers as a start. From there see how the population is. If the population is good and stable, than offer it as a paid service if you wish to xfer to another server. Not saying id pay for it myself. Games i have played and enjoyed recently have FREE instant transfer lol.

I pre-ordered, played in the Beta's and currently am sub'd till almost the July. Ive quit for the following reasons. 1.) Lack of people on servers. Why have 75 or more servers in a game with so few people? Start merging now. Dont bring out a paid transfer system because its stupid to charge the players $15 to move to a populated server. We did not open the abundant servers and spread everyone out to where its almost impossible to group for anything. I play MMO's to hang with friends and make new ones. Hard to do when all your friend bounce and theres not many others on to become friends with. 2.) Lack of common MMO features. Horrible GTN that is stupid to try and use. No LFG. WZ's being pug v/s premade non-stop. 3.) I personally dont care a single bit about lore, story lines etc. Im here to play. Im sick and tired of having to listen to the same friggin stories in FP's. It should be 1 and done to not hear again on the same character. Its a waste of my time. 4.) Load times. I have a very strong system and these load times are just dumb. Every other MMO / FPS i play that requires stronger systems run flawlessly and load 10X faster. I purchased an SSD setup for a reason. 5.) Horrible graphics engine, need i say more. I have more reasons, but those are the major ones for me.

lmfao really? 4hrs+ just to change some code around, i hope BW doesnt think thats sufficient enough of an answer for the playerbase. I see lots of threads demanding more info.

Um yea all those things you listed can wait for 10yrs down the line. Things id like to see that im sure more of the population would agree. 1.) Alpha / Beta bugs finally addressed once and for all 2.) 64bit client with REAL video enhancements and increased performances 3.) Content additions 4.) Real PVP, not queue solo and face a premade of the same guild EVERY match every day. If i queue solo, i should not be pooled against a premade. 5.) The return of vendors that keep being removed from the game. 6.) A support system that works. Nothing like submitting a ticket, getting some flow chart response asking for information and you CANT even update the ticket. You have to open ANOTHER Ticket and requeue all over. Dont fall for the use "jupiter" in the title crap either, it does NOTHING. Everyones told to use "Jupiter". I could go on, but im too annoyed currently.

Its got to be one of the worst events ive taken part of (involuntarily might i add). I log in to do this or that and im stuck dealing with stupid events that are pointless and an even bigger waste of my time. In the future be sure that your events are for those who wish to participate and not required.

So i am fairly certain i read that the ability to queue for warzones with 4+ people was retracted from the patch? The past 3 days all i have faced is full duo 4 man grp's or 1 large guild run? ***, you take all this main crap out of the patch and just leave the ability for pre-mades to just go in an non-stop win War Zones, thanks its such a great way to waste my time.

Why is it that every single game i play i happen to choose the most crapped on class there is? I mean i pick a Sorc for ranged DPS and what happens? Stun, Stun, Snare, Blinded, Immobilized dead. Seriously what fun is that? I get 1 insta cast 4 second stun and 1 30 minute cast time whirlwind. However if i dps someone they get broke out. Me, hell no i get stunned and im dead from all the damage thats being put out on me. I cant for the life of me figure out why all the other classes are feeling so OP when it comes to 1v1. I stand 0 chance to beat anyone in 1v1. Now i see why everyone rages about the failfest of a pvp system in this game. Seriously needs overhauled and balanced a TON.

So they are giving level 50 accounts a free month because there is nothing to do at level 50. Ok i get the idea behind it, but someone like me who KNEW there was little to do at 50 and created 4 alts and my main makes me not entitled to the same thing? My highest is a 47 and im purposely not hitting 50 to get the boredom phase. Ive been here since head-start with a pre-order. Why am i being treated like a black sheep because i elected to take my time to get to 50? I mean i have as much if not more logged in time than the lvl 50's who do absolutely NOTHING. They stand in the fleet doing nothing while those under lvl 50 spam for hours LFG for X FP. I mean seriously, they word it that lvl 50's have nothing to do, well thats why i didnt rush to 50 and made alts, so im not equally entitled to what others are getting? Glad i hit cancel sub yesterday when their ninja announcement mere hours before the patch went live that they were removing the stuff that made me want to finally finish off my last 2 levels to 50.

So lets see here. The supposed number of active subs is 1.7 million currently. Thats 1.7 million people x $14.99 a month - $25.48 million monthly x 4 months = just about $102 million. So do you or anyone else in the gaming industry think that 1 new war zone, 1 new flash point, a useless family tree system and the lack of a true Q/A department that honestly took up until under 12 hours before the patch was going to the live servers to realized the crap doesnt work? I dont know about you, but this patch is totally no where CLOSE to worth what the company is making monthly. Its honestly a slap in the face, but thats why i am happy that in the final 10 days of my active subscription i will voice my displeasure with the service i received for my money.

OMG i think im in love with BioWare.... 4 months into the game we got the "largest" content patch in the history of MMO's.. What is included? We got a whole ton of stuff to do now, im not sure i could do it all in a month. We got 1 new warzone, we got 1 new flashpoint and we can now move out bars around on the screen to make the game look better. Holy Moley i sure wish BW would give us this type of excitement all the time for patches.... On a more serious note, if you seriously think that those "minor" additions to the game compensate for the failures they have commited since Alpha / Beta than you are the weakest link. These are all things that are being sold to you as "new" stuff when its all stuff that literally should have been in at launch if there was a compitent staff running this game.

Actually Aion is totally awesome now that its f2p and they put out the biggest patch of recent thats FREE. Ya know, that statement that BW made about 1.2 lol. Rift has put out multiple LARGE content patches as well. BW must have meant largest as in size of download. There is no way on this planet that UI controls, 1 war front, 1 op and maybe 1 raid = 12gigs. Its the WORST coding ive ever encountered in 15 yrs of gaming.

Roflmao, just over 12hrs since the announcement and its riding at just about 300 pages deep. Its hard to keep up with reading everyones response. On a side note, Aion 3.0 is awesome. I rolled a new toon on the new server thats worldwide and i believe ill be putting in a bulk of my time there. Not only is it f2p, but it has all of the features id like in the game. Ive got 10 days left here, so may play for a bit. After that ill be back when BW gets their act together.

In a heartbeat. Why? Because its not loaded with bugs, um its FREE and theres a **** ton more to do in that game without twiddling my thumbs on an empty server queued up for WZ's that take 30-45 minutes per.

lmao, i just LOVE how they post some really breaking news like this literally hours before the patch and server downtime. +1 to unsub, glad i started the Aion 3.0 download this morning. I play Asmo on Vaizel (Tiamat) now as a 55 Cleric - dreksack
