  1. There is already a thread about this PR debacle.
  2. I actually...like...all the shuttle and hangar bays, orbital stations and elevators. I don't like clicking a map on the wall and then teleporting to my ship.
  3. Simply amazing. Which chestpiece is that? The boots are crisp too. Now only to find a golden belt
  4. I'll post something I typed in another thread, no need to rehash:
  5. Rubbish. I am 48 now, with Biochem at 341, Bioanalysis at 400 and Diplomacy at 311. I'm sitting on 814.000 credits. At level 20 I had 3.000 credits. I quit boosting my skills completely, and I had about 70.000 at 25. At level 34 I had about 40.000 credits. Again stopping my Crew Skills got me to a comfortable 300.000 by level 40. There are no tricks: -Leveling Crew Skills entirely through companion missions is expensive. -Questing income is more than sufficient to cover your leveling costs, be it speeders or skill increases. -Sell Blue, Purple and Orange gear on the GTN. Of the 50 items I post, perhaps 30 will sell. Yet they still sell for a premium of the vendor price. Persistence is key. -Inventory upgrades aren't worth the investment: Use companions to sell grey items. I bought the 5.000 upgrade, no others. I've been fine by planning my vendor visits with my quest NPC visit. -Bank upgrades aren't worth the investment: Banks don't automatically update stacks. If you find your bank to be full, check to see if you haven't listed the same item 7 times, and turn them into stacks. Don't hoard your Grade 1 supplies when you're crafting at Grade 4 level either. There is no such thing as 'credits being difficult to collect'. If the costs would increase by a factor of your income, we'd all by scratching our behinds with a rusty nail. That is hardly the case. What this is, is a case of Learn2Think and Learn2Plan.
  6. Nice guide, still can't figure out how to avoid being killed in 5 seconds by Assassins. They just rip me to shreds before I can intervene.
  7. It's actually amazing, despite boosting, that you deal far more damage than my Sentinel at 47 now. Liked the video, keep it up.
  8. Valorous Sentry Elite Vest is the name of my chestpiece.
  9. I can't remember. The Chest was one I had been looking for since seeing its textures as a Green drop on Tatooine. I think I found it on the GTN. The blue saber is my real gem though, with the crystal on its pommel. Was a random world drop. Absolutely love it. Even more so if the crystal would be red, perhaps it changes with the color crystal. The boots are the Dark Side vendor Dark Jedi boots. Only piece I've seen that don't look like fortified castles for my Sentinel.
  10. This is an American game. The United Kingdomians are the ancient enemy, the primeval oppressor. Hence the translation of this dogma, ingrained in the minds of our fellow Americans, to the Star Wars multiverse.
  11. Tatooine has one Quesh has one Voss has one Fleet has one
  12. Wrong. Oh so wrong. In business, the wants of the many -NEVER- outweigh those of the few. You want to treat every customer equally because you want to retain every single paying customer. Why? Because retaining customers is infinitely cheaper than 'forcing' the minority to abandon the product, and trying to find other customers from the limited pool of potential MMO consumers. Why? Because negative Word of Mouse has become one of the most important means to get a message across, with a tremendous impact on the internet. In a startup phase, it's important you limit this to an absolute minimum in order to expand your customer base. Why? Because we're not talking about a 95-5 ratio. The US-EU ratio is perhaps closer to 55-45, meaning you can't simply piss off the 45. They are still a far too significant part of your customer base. Bioware needs every subscriber to even get a chance of running break-even with this MMO and its massive development costs. All these forum trolls with their business advice. It's killing me.
  13. 1. Agreed. There should not be an impactful element of sheer randomness in a PvP area. 2. Arbitrary change. Don't need it, wouldn't hate it if it was implemented. Not gamebreaking, so it can wait. 3. Disagree. Target dummies without a combat log are almost useless. One needs the other. Target dummies are used to test rotations, abilities. You need to be able to keep track of, and measure, aggregate values. Without a combat log, this is not possible. 4. Not really necessary in my opinion. It discourages people from being hasty and not having a care for what they are doing. When I'm in on a vendor screen, I don't go clicking random objects and then complain I did not want those. 5. Agreed.
  14. Nah, we pay 3 more $ per month than you are. Facts are facts.
  15. I'm paying about 3,20€/month more than US customers, hence I also deserve better service. I'm fine with current maintenance hours, if US customers pay 18,13$ for their monthly subscription. Then we're at least paying the same money for the game. Any future remark by a US customer is ab ovo irrelevant. Since they aren't paying as much as I am, they are not entitled to have an opinion that surpasses mine. They are entitled to listen to my opinion and nod gracefully. Pay more = deserve more. In the land of the free, that's one of the most basic mantra. Next time Bioware introduces anything, I fully expect them to consult the EU playerbase first and exclusively. As premium paying customers, we expect a premium service.
  16. As a 45 Watchman, I don't use Riposte/Bladestorm/Opportune Strike/Leg Slash/Crippling Throw. All other skills I use frequently. And I'm doing more than fine. Leg/Crippling are hotkeyed for PvP, the others aren't even on my bars. Cyclone Slash is heavenly. When I can gather 3 or more melee standard mobs: Sweep, Pommel one, then spam Cyclone Slash. With less than 3 targets I simply take them one by one.
  17. Current timeslots are fine, if they alternate between US and EU having daytime maintenance each week. Only fair after all.
  18. Actually: No. The European market = the American market. About 300 million consumers. Don't confuse raw population numbers with market size in Europe.
