  1. As we know today marks a partial or fullblack out from some very popular sites such as wikipedia and craiglists , along with other sites raising awareness like google and popular gaming channels including youtube opposting SOPA/PIPA. A majority of you already know about these bills trying to be snaked through Congress and Senate and I would only direct you to google them if you are un aware what I am talking about. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has expressed support for SOPA. Many game companies who are assosiated with ESA have cleared stated to their gaming community their opposition to SOPA. Trion worlds/RIFT is one example of a MMORPG. Now there is a movement to not attend E3. EA has taken no stance, and remain neutral by trying to appeal to both side being the empty suits and YOU, the Gamer and consumer. EA will directly benefit from SOPA if it will pass, and will take a massive consumer backlash if they show support. There are times to be neutral, there are times to be not. The destruction of the internet is not a time to be neutral. EA's stance makes them a sympathizer to SOPA hence, by their inactions become a supporter of SOPA, by allowing it to pass and take benefit. The article is listed below as a resource, http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/17/ea-explains-lack-of-sopa-stance/
  2. You think I am funny till they roll out a cash shop in SWTOR. Then I will say see I told you so.
  3. Have no interest in GW2, Obviously you never seen Battlefield Heros and made by *drum rolls* EA!
  4. Reserved for a future cash shop item, stay tuned...
  5. Craftable items are BOP because Bioware is too hard on the single player track, they forgot they are making a MMO game and there are other people
  6. I have a security key and I like it. I feel safe, warm and cuddly, and can sleep well at night.. because I know some chinese kid is not going to haxxorz my account at 3 am and strip me naked.
  7. I am casual I guess, and a MMO veteran. I love the game so far, but it is because of the storyline and single player side. The MMO side has much to be said about
  8. The only thing they need to wipe is these forums
  9. I made the same thread about this and I got Trolled
  10. Hey guys, We currently have a thread available discussing various feedback for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. We ask that feedback discussion be consolidated here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=87349 Thank you!
  11. I work customer service in real life, and I swear if I have a issue with this game I will just unsub, I will not even try to submit a ticket after the horror stories I heard. Bio/EA should be ashambed of themselves. They dont have a problem selling you a game, or taking your credit card number, but you got a problem?!?! ohh no, cant help sorry, let me put you through India where Bob;s real name is Habib abdum Ahmad, who thinks a MMO is three capital letters and reads a generic script
  12. My computer at work can barely handle the troll forums yet alone the game
  13. rofl, you guys are funny. I love these forums. It's like tossing fresh meat in a shark tank.
  14. I read all the patch notes, twice. After I was re routed trying to find them. Yes I know two teams work in tandem with each other, HOWEVER, when you make more new content then you can fix the existing content you screwed the pooch
  15. Exactly, and in every MMO I played since 1997 the first few months are game changers. It's wht keeps your game afloat or sink. Once you lose players from a new released but bug ridden/unbalanced/un enjoyable MMO they are very hard to get back.
  16. With the game rounding it's first month I was surprised to see a content update released so soon, yet too soon. As much as I am enjoying the game so far, everything that is bugged, broken, missing, working wrong or just plain annoying is still very present in this game and is starting to become bothersome. I am talking from the moment you make a character to the end of end game and everything in between. I am realistic and expect bugs and issues. Bioware is starting from a clean slate and a brand new game that they would take this to their advantage and set a agressive back to back patch cleaning up the original released content. However, they keep persuing this game from a Marketing standpoint and trying to sell us on something we already bought. So please put Rise of the Rakghouls on the back burner, scrub and polish this game with your weekly updates and the majority of players will continue their subscriptions. Release new content, especially end game, but stop putting the buggy before the horse.. sheesh! I really enjoy this game and the genre, but Bioware/EA is going to be the death of me.
  17. winner winner chicken dinner. You stole my thunder
  18. Have your droid test it, Mine stands right next to the escape pod, how convienent
  19. For empire I know there are some unique companion character customizations. A dancer/bikini set for females. a 1.5 mil speeder, a droid that serenades you? hmm what else... well the best thing to me is imperial fleet passes for 1k.
  20. when you have an objective to destroy fighters/turrets taking out fighters it much easier and faster, especially if you need to take out 30+
  21. It is only worth it if it won't break you. yes it does help keep you from dismounting. I was rather suprised some times I just knew when flying around a corner I cut too close to a pack of ranged mobs and I get hit but don't dismount.
