  1. AGREE COMPLETELY. Ignore all these rupubs asking for a free pass out of their base. I've tried that.... THey come out 10 minutes later zerg one guy, then you chase them all back into their base. They dont want to fight. And EVEN if they did, they are outnumbered they cant win. SOOO SOOO fing stupid. Took me 2 hours to get 15 kills yesterday, then another 30 minutes to collect armaments. Bring back tea party trading please! At least i was getting to befriend some repubs whom i had good warzones games with. We'd give eachother gg's and chat about the epic warzone we had. Now its like , ZOMG A REPUBLIC KILL IT QUICK BEFORE IT RUNS AWAY. Like honestly. New age mmo....This is world pvp? REALLY???..... - Make illum battle happen every 2-3 hours, 100 player limit on each side, you can q 15 minutes prior to it. Like wow did with wintergrasp and that new one (cant remember what its called). - Design a perk for owning illum, after your done your dailies why would people stay....no *********** reason (esp if you are over 60 valor).

  3. I got my daily done fine so the problem is this. Rupublic players are anti social. I always see them in groups of 2 and 3 like they bad azz or something. While i team up with like 40 of my close friends. I think what we have here is a failure to socialize on the republic side. L2P noobs. EMPIRE FO LIFE!!!
  4. You pose no solution. Limit premades? Already done, you can only q with 3 friends. 4/8 is NOT a full premade. Limit it more/make premade q's?? I simply q at the exact same time as my mates and have a good chance of getting the same game. 4/8 is the max you can 100% get in the same warzone. Seems like a good median to me. Also, why the hell doesnt everybody simply join a guild or just friend people? When i see a good pvper, i send him a message saying "hey dude you seem like a good pvper, i'm adding you to my friends list your welcome to pvp with me and my guys anytime, we run premades all the time". I'm SHOCKED at how many people i find that are good that don't play with people. People need to learn to make groups, its so soo easy. Find players of simular skill stlye and send them a whisper. Hell, i play empire and if i rerolled republic, i know 3 really good players that would q with me in a heartbeat. Simply by chatting with them outside of game in illum or switching over to a repub alt to message him "gg". I have people i play with to dominate, and people i play with to have fun(doestn matter if we win we laugh and have fun the whole time). I knew nobody 2 weeks ago. Go out and solve your problem by making friends dude.
  5. Wrong. Re read that patch note. It says "will be converted". Meaning any existing ones you have will be converted. No reason to hold on to your battlemaster bags.
  6. I AM a sorc. I often do 400k dmg and 120k healing in a game. Thats a long game mind you. But those numbers dont mean much. I spread dots and shields around which inflate my numbers. Single target dps sorcs are below most classes. The "OP" ness you refer to is generally a good player using all the sorc tools properly. I'm a pvper in every mmo i play. I am very competative and have a 90% win rate. In my honest opinion, sorcs are going to be an EXTREAMLY hard class to ballance. Simply because of our utility. We have every tool available and the good player is going to use that to their advantage. If anybody remembers moonkins from WOW (only if you played long enough to see them rise and fall-keep in mind i'm referring to pvp only). They are what i can compare sorcs to. When they are given good damage, they will stack that with all the utility (ccs, heals, mobility) and create something powerfull. WOW could not ballance moonkins so they got nerfed into the ground and even the most skilled of players could no longer take them to the top in pvp. The average player on a sorc is not "OP". The very skilled player you could definately percieve as OP. But the developers are trying to find a ballance between "accessible" and "ballanced". If you ballance a class around what the average player can do. Sorcs are not OP. If you ballance a class around what a skilled player can do. Sorcs ARE OP. So what do you do? This is the eternal ballancing stuggle of MMO's that most seem to completely miss. I see people qq in every mmo i play, but never offer suggestion's to ballance. So, heres my main suggestion that i could see ballance the game a bit. -Make more abilities in the tallent tree, instead of simply given to you. Forcing a player to choose what role he wants to play, instead of being able to be a jack of all trades with to much utility. Because as we've dicussed, utility in a pro's hands = your dead. TL : DR. Ballancing is not as easy as you keyboard turners, clickers and casuals would like to believe.

  8. As i said before. That = nobody groups together becuase of outragious q times. Just like in WOW. Even with cross realm bg's q times for groups over 5 were at 20+ minutes. I'm trying to figure out where people think a fair number is. Is it 2 people in a group? or is that a premade? Is it 3?
  9. Lets not get to crazy here. A "premade" is ONLY 4 people. So lets compromise? How about limit group pvp size to 3? Would that suffice? Theres no way you can tell me 2 people = a premade. So 3 seems like a good median. What do people think? @Scoobings - I am in no way trying to stoke my epeen. I don't need to stomp randoms in warzones for that. I have been highly rated in many games I know i'm a good gamer. Thats besides the point and not needed at all in this dicussion. Please be CONSTUCTIVE in your posts. I simply like to play with my friends, its more fun.
  10. Think first guys:.. Step 1. First we separate the 50's into their own bracket (o snaps longer q times) - Story based mmo, o snaps less 50's because alot are in it for the story Step 2. Separate premades and solo (o snaps longer q times) Step 3. Make rated BG's (o snaps longer q times) Step 4. ***** about q times Step 5. ? Profit? Don't get me wrong. I premade stomp all the time. I understand where everybody is comming from. But no separation will be supported by me if it means long q times. Link up servers and this COULD work. But if anybody played WOW. You'll remember how long it took to get a group(over 5) vs group in BG's. It was unbearable. Also where do you draw the line? Is 2 people a group? Is 3 people? or only 4? The only thing this will do, is make me and my teamates q up separately at the exact same time. Which will MOST likely = a bigger premade (right now it only supports 4, although we have 10+ people wanting in) . So all 10 of us q at the same time. It would most likely result in a bigger more unfair group. Thats my 2 cents.
  11. In hutball. Dmg should be the last thing your doing. Other than dmging the guy with the ball. Throw afflictions around, throw shields to people, knock people back, slow them. I have a 90%+ winrate in hutball for the sole reason that i almost never kill people. I am entirely objective focused. If i see a teamate with the ball, i run ahead of him and start healing him/getting in positions for passes/grabbing him to me. Killing people hurts your team more than helps (if you have the ball). There have been many times i've been about to score when 7 people respawn and i get stunlocked to death. Now had my team simply slowed and cced them instead of bursting them all down. It would be a cap. Just a lil hutball tip for you. Dmg wise, focus on force lightning (go halfway up madness tree for no cd on F.L. and the insta cast proc). Then the basic rotation is F.L. (insta cast crushing darkness or chain lightning). Repeat.

    TRUST ME..I pvped ONLY for 30 levels lol.. I saw my valor capped at almost every level.

    Yes it possible. I did 20-50 basically. Just do your "class quests" nothing else. Every about 5 levels you will have to do your class quests to progress your story and unlock your legacy.(you want that). But your valor level cannot exceed your level. So at 50, you will be valor 50. Once your 50 it unlocks valor cap and you can go to 60.
  14. Thanks for the post. Imo. Would be much easier if they simply made SMALL nerfs/buffs here and there. A mistake many games make is they go to hard. Make small adjustments untill it feels balanced. Not large adjustments hoping for the best. Having small nerfs/buffs satisfy peoples need to see a ballancing attempt, but little enough that you still "feel" op if you are the said "op" class.
  15. The people saying "macro uses are lazy blbalbla" obviously havent pvped or pve'ed on any sort of competative level. There are VERY VERY few unskilled players seeking out macro's. But regardless. It shouldent matter if its the lazy gamer wanting an easier way to heal or and pro gaming looking to get the edge. Macro's SHOULD be supported and they would be wise to implement. Or risk see this game fall off the radar when it comes to the competative scene. (which by the way is a huge scene in WOW and part of their sustained success).
