  1. I think they should make Yoda species playable. Then I would make a guild of only fat Yodas.
  2. No one should have to know the details of incidents that happened 3 years ago and do not have to do with the game directly, but rather with a personal issue of one of Bioware's employees. The fact that you actually searched for someone else's post history just to scold them because they did not have this knowledge is a little worrisome, and quite frankly very intrusive. Btw I was playing this game very actively in 2015 and it was NOT a big deal if you did not spend time in the forums. Which I didn't. And I shouldn't be expected to. On topic, these news make me very sad. I think that there is definitely a way to prevent any kind of incident at community events. NYC events have an impressive amount of security even if there is no high risk involved. I have been to 4 consecutive NYC cantina events, and it has been great and a lot of fun every single time. I guess this year I might have missed it anyway, seeing we are not getting a new expansion.
  3. Funny, considering that many (the majority I'd say) of the Story Mode Uprisings bosses are impossible to kill if you have 4 DPS without off heals and/or defensive CDs, even if all 4 players are experienced. It does make my OCD trigger that I can't complete the story mission for the Kaon storyline on many many toons, but that is very far down in the list of SWTOR group finder and group content problems at the moment.
  4. I would like to hear a GOOD reason as to why fast gearing was a problem. I currently have 24 toons (16 toons before the DvL event) and with 4.0, as much as I was not entertained by the storyline (and that was basically not at all), I applauded the gearing system and the fact that all 9 ops were now relevant. There is content that would be horrible to repeat (aka Uprisings, Seeker Droid and Binoculars missions, some of the Flashpoints, Class missions, KOTFE/KOTET Chapters) and then there is content that I would have no problem at all repeating, if it meant getting rewarded too at the same time (Operations, HM Flashpoints, PvP, Heroics). So with 4.0 I was able to: 1. Gear most of my 16 toons with full set bonus 2. Have a lot of fun playing with my friends 3. STILL be challenged enough for the higher tier gear and be part of a progression raiding group 4. See how ops like EV, KP and EC are SUPPOSED to be like, since I did not do endgame content back in 2012 5. Log into the game all the time to enjoy the game 6. Be a happy paying customer I dont' see how any of that causes any problems. If anything, the lack of new content was not as noticeable as it is now (and has been for a long time) since there was still stuff to do. Fun stuff to do.
  5. Amazing logic. Completely flawed, since there are not that many things that are fun in this game anymore. And people will choose to do the things that are a combination of average fun and high efficiency. Unless you prefer doing Uprisings. The worst endgame content ever released, and I thought they could never top that after Star Fortresses. You don't need to do that. It's easy to know Bioware's intentions anyway. Their point of view is to keep players subbed and playing this game for as long as possible. It's a company, get real.
  6. This is really bad. I hope they can fix it, because it seems to me that there are 38 pages of 99% negative feedback, so I hope that the developers really DO listen to the community.
  7. This thread is ridiculous None of the estimates mentioned here are in the realm of reality. I play on Harbinger, the most populated server by far, and whenever I am on Yavin, I ALWAYS find nodes that are untouched by bots. The economy of the game will not deteriorate by credit sellers. It will deteriorate if idiotic people continue to buy stuff like the Unstable Lightsaber for 50 million credits. And this will happen, no matter what you do with slicing. ANY gathering skill can get you lots of money, if you know how to do it. So stop complaining about slicing, because there will always exist thousands of players that make dozens of millions of credits in a short amount of time, whether that is by collecting slicing nodes, selling bio-nodes, playing the GTN, buying them from credit sellers, or doing 50 heroics per week with 20 toons. Slicing is not broken, it works just fine.
