In classic HK-47 style, during The Foundry flashpoint, he states: "This is hardly a test of the Foundry's Extermination Droids. Please provide more meatbags to slaughter!" All done with his cheerfully sociopathic voice.

Speaking of Makeb, the Smuggler gets a good one on there, that's exclusive to his class... During the speech to rally the people, a young lady in the audience shouts "I love you!" Smuggler, without even breaking stride, replies "Right back atcha, gorgeous!" I LOL'd.

Another SI gem... this exchange made me think that the SI and Khem might be the biggest undiscovered comedy duo in the galaxy... Khem Val FTW!

One of the best theories I've heard yet, from you and myrdinn. I think the correct term you're looking for is "sadist" though, not "masochist." Vaylin is playing a long game, just like Ramsay did in his rise to power at Winterfell. But before Vaylin can execute her coup, they still have SCORPIO to deal with, first. With a super-intelligent machine sitting on the Iron... err, Eternal Throne, everyone is basically screwed, for the moment. Now that I think about it, I'm seeing some parallels here, between SWTOR and GoT.

Speaking of the SI... Loved this exchange at the end of Pt. 2 in the SI main storyline: "I was dreaming. There were all these holocrons, and each one put out a different flavor of Ice Cream." "Ice cream, huh? Sure beats my usual dreams of Hutts in bikinis." The visuals... Oh God I'm blind!

One of my all-time faves from the Smuggler on Ord Mantell: "If I die, I want to be buried with my ship."

I am also inclined to agree with this assessment! If this game were rated M, we'd probably get to see Vaylin doing more Ramsay style shenanigans. That would be scary! Also, as a longtime LoK fan, your signature line is awesome!

On one side, we have a guy who kills enemies, prisoners, and allies alike, based on his whims. He'll kill pretty much anyone, including his own family. On the other side, we have a woman who kills her own Knights on a whim, whenever she perceives failure... or basically anyone who annoys her. Discuss.

Sorry to say it, but so far Disney has pretty much ignored the old Expanded Universe completely. It's a shame to waste over 20 years of best-selling novels and videogames, that could be put on the big screen, or even the small screen. But there you have it. With the exception of the upcoming Rogue One, which is VERY loosely based on Dark Forces, that is. They're still pretty much ignoring the original tale, and have supplanted it with their own version.

The characters in the game that are closest to real life SpecOps are the Smuggler and the Imperial Agent. They can actually take cover, unlike the Trooper. I think we all know from the Star Wars movies, that the "regular army" on both sides is a joke. "Oh, let's stand out in the open in this shiny white armor in a firefight, instead of taking cover like real soldiers would."

Oh my Gosh, you MUST be right! Those Dark Troopers in the trailer CAN'T be the same Dark Troopers from Dark Forces! Also, we ALL know that Dark Forces wasn't where they stole the plans for the first Death Star! Golly Gee Whiz Gosh!

That's because Republic "Special Forces" is a joke.

I wish, too. I also wish that Snipers had realistic "real world" equivalent range, but they don't. Balance issues, of course. I'd love to go Headshot on a trooper from a klick away, but no way would the DEVs go for that! lol

The Dark Forces / Kyle Katarn games WERE canon, before Disney screwed the pooch with their "New Continuity" garbage.
