  1. I was always slightly confused by the term DPS to indicate a damage dealing class. 'Damage per second' was always a statistic to me before I started SWTOR.
  2. Hi mate. Happy to see you hopped over also. Been a few years since I last yapped to you. On topic...erm....the speeders are still bugged
  3. Same here. I have 2 Firewasps in my Tat SH instead of a Wasp and A-R6. Also 2 of the speeders you get from the fleet don't add to the decoration list. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=760043
  4. No scam. No refund due. Sympathy for the OP. Lesson learnt. Disgust for the seller. Scum not scam. My 333,345 cents
  5. Choosing a planet requires using that dropdown menu. That dropdown menu is bugged and says that Ilum gives a GSF bonus when it doesn't. Guild leaders are players. Some of them visit this forum. Some of them may read my warning. I am trying to warn others from making the same error our GL did. Even you didn't know it was bugged so that's at least one person I've warned I agree with the rest of your post obviously.
  6. It is supposed to though. Go to conquest, click on planet and see that next to Ilum is written 'Invasion Bonus - Flashpoints, Starfighter' Our GL went with that...only when others logged in and noticed the bonus was missing from the actual objectives did the accusations fly However in his defence it is written nice and clearly....Ilum Invasion Bonus....Starfighter
  7. ...despite what it says in the dropdown menu if you look at the objective box itself you'll see the usual 500 points listed. Our Guild leader picked Ilum to invade and it's the only planet with no GSF bonus this week, again, despite what it initially states on the planet selection menu. Bugger
  8. I understand that but with no bonus whatsoever it's 500 points. My Stronghold Bonus should make it 1000 even if guildless...instead i'm getting 500 a pop.
  9. I have a 100% stronghold bonus and am only getting 500 conquest points per GSF match. Anyone else notice that the bonus is not working this week?
  10. I explained the same thing 3 times on the first page. Unfortunately it seems I suck at explaining (which is highly likely). Nessun problema. In bocca al lupo questa settimana con il nuovo conquest!
  11. Rendili Watchman (bought off the fleet speeder vendor) Ubbrikkian Hunter (also bought off the fleet speeder vendor....hint to where the problem may lie? ) Am currently placing over 200 of my speeders in my SH and after only 30 I found these two missing from my decoration-mounts unlocked page (says 0/0). May very well find more as I go along today and will update as I find them.
  12. I think we can all agree that it's misleading to call these ships by their name. Including the words 'scale model', 'deluxe model', 'Malgus' Lego Version' etc would have removed most if not all of the disappointment. The Fury also seems to be the wrong shape when compared to the original. It's a lot more narrow if seen from above. So we have a badly done, mislabelled, half size model? Yay for when the Sandcrawler arrives in 2 pack's time only to be dwarfed by the Sandcrawler roaming in my Tat stronghold...the Jawas will mock me! Am disappointed but BW were aware that would be a common reaction to these ships. As I have unfortunately said too often in the past, 'if you squint it looks large enough'. Oh well. EDIT: a mess of a post I know but too lazy/tired to edit accordingly.
  13. 99.9% of players will be using strongholds right now and for stronghold prestige that's how it works. Guildship prestige might take other things into account. I have no idea on those. However for Stronghold prestige a chair is worth the same as any other single decoration placed. Trust me the numbers are available for all to check.
  14. The stronghold prestige is solely based on the amount of varied items they have, not what items they have placed. There's no bug. It's working as intended. The confusion some have is due to there being 2 kinds of prestige. One is increased by adding decoration to your total collection (personal prestige score), another is increased by placing ANY deco in a stronghold. It can be chairs/trophies/ships...they all contribute equally to Stronghold prestige. The Stronghold prestige you see listed on the leaderboard is solely the calculation of personal prestige X completion of hooks %, then multiply that by 2 for the subscriber bonus. It doesn't show how nicely decorated a house is, just that the person owning that house has a certain amount of decorations unlocked in total. The crime is that these people open their SH to the public when they're obviously not ready for public viewing
  15. Nothing to do with what deco you placed. Just the number of items placed. DK: Cap is 350 hooks. 100% would be 350 deco items placed. Place 35 items and you'd be at 10% completion etc. Coruscant: Cap is 350 hooks. 100% would be 350 deco items placed. Place 35 items and you'd be at 10% completion etc. NS: Cap is 475 hooks. 100% would be 350 deco items placed. Place 48 items and you'd be at 10% completion etc. Tat: Cap is 500 hooks. 100% would be 350 deco items placed. Place 50 items and you'd be at 10% completion etc. They gave us more hooks than our cap allows for obvious reasons I think. If we had to use up every single hook to get 100% our choice of how to decorate would be reduced. Now, that said, I'd love BW to increase the item cap per stronghold another 100 per.
  16. It works. At least it did last month when I used it on my 10th toon.
  17. I keep reading this more and more. People are getting confused by the fact that there are 2 types of prestige. Personal Prestige is what you get for adding a decoration to your collection. It's your overall prestige for the items you own. Nothing to do with placing items. You get +100 prestige for the first item type you add. You get +2 for every example of that type until you hit the cap for that particular decoration (50/50 etc). Example: the first Basic Metal Bed added gives you +100 personal prestige. The second one only +2. You DON'T get personal prestige for any pets/mounts/companions etc. Stronghold Prestige is basically the calculation of Personal Prestige X your completion % for that particular stronghold...then multiply the total by 2 (for being a subscriber). Example, if my Personal prestige is 10,000 and I fill my DK stronghold to full capacity then my DK Stronghold prestige would be 20,000. This is the prestige number others see. Prestige only shows you how much of a collector the person is...not any indication of decorating talent. A voting system would be flawed and easily manipulated so we're stuck with this prestige system. A pity, I know.
  18. I don't think you understood how prestige works. We need BW to explain it officially though as some things don't give prestige at all (speeders, pets etc). It seems clear enough but some confirmation from BW would avoid more misconceptions like the OP's. I agree that the leaderboards only show the people who have the most variety of items in their personal prestige. It basically lists collectors over decorators.
  19. Moreorless my experience. It's a joy logging in tbh.
  20. The most accurate post in this entire thread imo. /Kudos
  21. SWG housing (along with a few other features) was more complex and enjoyable imo. 'Idiot proof' is what we get in TOR. A lot of fun nevertheless. Sandbox features in themeparks rarely match the same features in actual sandbox mmo's. I personally think the GSH is addictive in its own way. Same story with GSF...not as good as JTL but still lovin' it.
