I am aware what you're referring to, but let me point it out, whereby: that is exactly the misleading part from BW... variants (is always from Blue to Purple). However, for "old/ pre-existed" non-variant, e.g. all purple armorings/ mods/ enhancments/ crystals/ barrels, you 'd definitely need schematics for (lvl 24/25)... If level 26/27 is "NEW" it may be possible to rip and learn it as stated on the patch notes. The concrete evidence is the tooltip. If you click RE and hover over the blackhole stuff and it doesn't have the tooltip = nada, no schematic to be learned. I am certainly be happy to provide you with Screenshot once I get back home

You've got to do more readings then..... it's very well-known that swtor is not an mmo optimized for gpu, it's well-discussed since beta.... cpu + ram is most important, for this game. And personally, I changed from a dual-core to phenom x6; same gpu; but huge huge huge improvement... b4 the change, I would frequently lag in warzone... after the change, smooth sailing... not even the slightest hinge at high settings.

-- YES, the armor rating will increase respectively -- Armor usage is class bounded? e.g. as a consular you can only use light armor. As a Jedi Guardian, you can use light armor, but why would you? (See below). Armor proficiency is in your abilities window, 'P' (in-game shortcut key by default) -- Open your character sheet, and hover your mouse over the "Armor rating" (under defense) part, and read the tooltip yourself. You be the judge. But in my opinion, aside from Aesthetic and RP-wise, one shouldn't use what's not for their own class.

At the moment, I don't think they (mods/ armoring/ enhancement lvl 25/26/27 craft-able schematics) are in the game. or it must have a very low chance of RE it. The fact is, you can't RE a purple, to get the schematic of it. You can only RE a blue and hope for a chance to get the purple of it (notice the tooltip as you try to RE a blue to purple, it has a success chance rate on it, but there's no such tooltip on purple PvE mods and etc.). And all end-game PvE gears have purple mods in them. This pretty much leaves schematics drop for 25/26/27 only in NM raids/ world bosses if there's any.

I only wish there's a daily quest or something to do; to get a buff for x duration of tries to get an increment of RE success %.

I'll try to help explain. All "Customizable Gears" have the same "class base of that gear" E.g. 1) A customizable Medium Armor, would have a base of "16 Armor". Regardless, it's for smuggler or Jedi Sentinel. 2) A customizable Light Armor, would have a base of "7 Armor" 3) A newly crafted but customizable Lightsaber, would have a base force of +48 Force power whether it be level 20 or level 50. - Gears' levels doesn't change the base itself, but the add-ons do. i.e. for armor = Armoring + Mods + Enhancement. - The required base gears' levels to wield will also change according to the add-ons' levels. E.g. a customizable level20 lightsaber will turn level 50 if any level 50 crystal/ hilts/ mods/ enhancement piece is slotted into it. Hope this helps

You're confusing yourself.... Orange = custom, mostly learned through schematics.... Orange is custom, what's more to "Research" about it? It's a shell item already = fully customizable... There are research available for others because of the Pretext. E.g. Fervor of X, Critical of X.... the only misleading point is about mods/ armoring, where most cybertech assumed that you can gain the schematics of lvl 24/25/26 (columi/ rakata/ blackhole/ campagin) through R.E. which you can't; they (those schematics) are dropped through raids.

Yes. And here's how I set up mine for raids/ pvp. Alt+F = set focus of your tank. whenever, we wanted to put dps on something, we always click on the tank (since he's focus targeted, i.e. click on his avatar on screen), and click his 'target of target'. So easy. Otherwise, we can just tab/ on screen-click surronding targets to whack things and do CC It's just two simple and quick click, I don't get what's so hard about that and why people are complaining nuts over it. It's perfect for me. SWTOR is not an mmo for lazy ppl, as you might've know through Jedi's abilities rotation (of course, that's if you want to be good).

Yep thank you! Now back to work and iron out those bugs and promised updates that's supposed to be on the patch. E.g. Battlemaster/ Rakata re-stat distribution.
