    at level 25 i dont even use companions i find them annoying, stick with shielding yourself first, force lift the hardest to kill mob, burn the others down one at a time, using potency, stun, reshield, knockback. Melee is the easiest to kill, you can TT kite them with force speed.

    Shield, Mindcrush+Weaken mind, Telekinetic Throw, Project, force potency, TT, Project, Shield, TT, Project, weaken mind, mind crush/stun TT, Project.. etc.. if its still alive TT + heal/shield till its down. bah, forgot if its melee to use knockback in there.

    i like to use it on my second use of Project and Telekinetic throw, gets them to lower health and then stun to finish

    swtor using a Primary stat system, where you primary stat will boost all damage and healing done. yours is willpower

    The lightsabre is more than a graphic, its got great stats. You complain that wizards carry staves but dont melee with them aswell? Melee damage should increase with willpower aswell, since you are a consular and it is your primary stat. same as shadow.

    People generally attack the closest or easiest to attack, if you CC the less obvious target, less chance of it being broken.. or CC early

    -Yes -Yes -Not screwed, Dark and Light items have the same stats i believe, just different colour weapon effects. and 100 points isnt alot -Neutral means you have no light or dark and thus cannot use either light or dark items... still the case

    you give up an aoe heal for an aoe damage. not sure what situation in pve you are planning for.. since i dont know how valuable the aoe heal is or how much use you will get from the aoe damage.. couldnt hurt to try. but i would have gone for more utility, maybe the 3 target force lift in Balance. Help the DPS focus down 1 at a time. unless they are all about aoe damage too.. then your path would be viable.

    i think the idea of a cost free attack with your lightsabre is so that its used frequently when out of force... i couldnt really see someone continually throwing there lightsabre or it being fast enough to warrant being thrown.

    It doesnt cost force to swing your sabre, a level 37 should know about the first ability you get. but its chance to hit is lower. Just regen force and use ranged

    *IF* it hasnt changed since the end of Beta, you should be fine getting the 75k damage and 75k healing awards. once you get your 2nd more effecient healing ability. warzones arent as fun until you are atleast 14-16. when you have more class abilities

    1-10 its all the same and after that you have a companion to help you, so there isnt really a problem at all and your DPS difference wont appear until later levels.
