I believe most people PvP for the sake of PvPing. To challenge themselves against other people and be the best they can be (or cry trying).

I leveled from 10-55 as healer and the minute I got my DPS companions I dropped Corso and Bowdaar. Tanks take too much damage and don't deal enough back for my tastes. I find that using either Risha or Akaavi is much better (Personally I prefer Akaavi). They take slightly more damage but things will die much faster, just keep SRM on you both and go crazy.

Man this guy really doesn't like you, judging by his post history. I wonder why he's afraid of people finding out who he is.

It's in the patch notes for 2.3 and (i believe) currently on the PTS.

If you want the roll to reset the ball then being pulled by a Sorc/Sage should also reset the ball, that can get people further than a 6 meter roll that costs 25 (out of 100/105) energy.

I PvP exclusively, the only thing I do that can be considered PvE is dailies (rarely) and quests on alts.

I managed to get Omnislash (from Final Fantasy 7) as my legacy name, pretty happy about that. As well as my regular gaming name Renzoth, although that's rarely taken.

Here's what I use (my Operative uses the exact same setup): Out of cover. In cover. DPS skills are on the left, the bottom bar is all the healing abilities and some random things that are consistently bound across all characters (interrupt, warzone consumables and throw huttball), the top right is things on a long(ish) cooldown. Underneath that is stealth things and scamper. To the right of that is travel stuff (quick travel, priority transports etc) and to the right of that is things I don't really need to keybind (buff, recuperate, mount etc). (Sabotage charge and XS Freighter Flyby are on the bottom so that I can see the cooldowns, but I only use them from cover.) I don't use ctrl to keybind because I find it's awkward to reach, instead I use a Razer Anansi keyboard and can easily reach the shift, alt and ctrl+shift key.

Requiring level 55 to buy the gear is totally pointless, there's no reason we shouldn't be allowed to have full part and at least some conq gear as soon as we hit 55. It's not like we haven't done the pvp to get the comms. Another thing that bugs me is needing to trade in the partisan gear to get conqueror gear, what's the point in that?

I can't believe it took 8 pages for the someone to mention this. It's not my fault you 5 dps chase me around in a circle while 2 other healers heal me.
