I do agree with u here it does suck when u are lvling and gearing to get FF and not even get an xp or coms it happens I know I have been stealthed and stunlock before and got ne medals in lowbe sometime u don't have the tools so why not get a free medal completed a match medal no harm in that also bind follow target its slow, like key board turning but against snipers long role it will point u in the right direction anyway good luck

I say they need a handicap system lowe th handi cap the more hp bonus u get even out the matches as you get better your handicap will go down there will always be some sand bagging but it even out so no worries there make silver and gold flight silver flight has handicaps applied gold non get rid of ranked and set up touniments team 2 game elimination with a way to post match time *** the pools thin out let players schedule there own matches if u cant schedual than it a draw co chaps or something solo 10 deaths legacy wide same rules as team silver and gold tourniments can run at the same time golf /bowling leagues have thrived like this for generations new vetrin old and young all can compete in the end its the if you play YOUR best you can win reguardless of your lvl. and everyone enjoys a competavive match .
  3. I find these threads tiresome and out of line. The reality even with voice it more of a social element and casual conversation. Any focus firing that goes on is easily done in pug groups it just many pus are not taking advantage of the system which is not a reason to change the entire pvp q system. Anyone can bind targe neares ally and they hit aquire targets target if everyone does it everyone is now focing fire. if You come out of respoon and trickle in and get wiped 1 or 2 v 4 or 5 well that's ltp. If 5 pllayers sit and beat on 2 and your team looses the other node that ltp not voice it your pug group can count CRY babies need to simmer down
  4. Also the tie breaker is just stupid it need to do a very small damage boost like a dot earlier in the match and still allows heals then increase in amount over time add a second dot and so on all the while heals are unaffected no class would have an advantage it that stet up.
  5. I can t let this thread go with out a response. As far as no one caring about most players feel anything under max lvl will be unbalance because every class matures differently it close enough to compete but sometime u can and will be at a disadvantage and as you lvl you will gain the advantage so that is the balance. key binding and targeting : to compete at a high lvl you will need a mmo mouse with all 12 number buttons on the side and bind every ability. bind 5 or 6 targeting methods as well if you are not doing that you are playing at a disadvantage. its a choice if you wont to compete at a high lvl that what you need to do. It take a long time to get it all down for a new player. After watching this game I see how important a ratings system/ matchmaking is The dilution of the player pool can never grow vet get board and new players get discoraged a mandatory ranking system is need and I said befor a long time ago pvp woul be best to have a handicap system like amature golf or bowling weak players get additional health so they can compete you can brag about you handicap and always have a even match they are more fun for all

I use mose wheel up target center of screen mose wheel down target nearest visable shift up next ally ahift down target of targer. so shift up set up guardian leap target of taget has me foxing fire in a croud works for pvp and pve keep the tab as a secondary option but I almost never use it center of screen is easy if people are real close it can be clunky but tab gets you on target quick target of target also help u leap a targer in trouble quickly as a tank this is a must

As a guardian I am licking my chops as I saber reflect the incoming attacks MS and gather strength trust me I have been playing vig since launch roots increase your dps I remember fondly the day when I could 2 hit some one but the simple fact is stuns roots and slows are the backbone of swtor combat and it add to the tactical team element with out them the combat it bland and we can all play shouter games
  8. so that means the you should have 6v3 6v4 some where else and your team should be getting the upper had at that point the guys that waste the sun come in to reinforce at a disadvantage and have no stun when they need it to save the node because it wont be there in for another 60 seconds
  9. everyone but marauder/jug has a mechanic to break roots on with cool down from 4.5 , 20, 30, 45,and 60 seconds Also cc individualy is fine but focus fire your going to die a sage focused by 2 melee is screaming cuz he can't get away a melee getting focused is screaming cuz someone is out of range and your getting killed. If roots are on resolve than resolve would need to reduce dps by >50% if I cant defend my self you should not be able to do max dps when I am defenceless.
  10. ok did that stun and kill help capture the objective of did it put someone in respon and they got right back in the fight some times you need to hold your aces. use it when you have a 3v3 and stun the 1/2 dead guy fighting your team mate who has 1/2 health as you focus fire with the other tam mate to geat your team to a quick 3v1 and 3v0 cap not the random 6v6 and stun for no good reason again to win sometime you just need to let he other guy use his stun and defences win the fight respone and with your aces have them at a key moment and win the war
  11. the changes to the root would be great for a melee but how about the sniper who uses a root or slow as a key defensive tool and adds a level of tactics to the game. Melee are aggressive and eats more roots and stuns as a result. Lets face no ne playing an ops, sniper, sin, sorc, pt, merc, is here complaining the melee guys thin they should be able to bash everyone unconditionally. Other games ranged classes do significantly more dps off my head like 15-20% not the 5% we have so swtor uses roots and stuns to even out the dps for pvp pve balance

  13. the cc you are describing is from the tards that uses cc as a basic attack and the op is the guy that uses the stun break immediately and is now crying as his node get capped. cc is about changing the tides of a fight in key moments not a base attack the seconds it off cool down. the cc is fine the pvp dev team is fine its the players that suck and are mostly below average IQ hows that for a flame burst

  15. a small bump to self heals means you can keep on the move hit relocate and fire follow through take cover no los to self heal so a small bump would help in that instance when you are doted and chasing a sage that can't be controlled. secondly it will help in an instance where a sage is close to death triple dot u and bubbles u may be able to survie to get in another attack as would a hunker down purge 1 additional charge on ballistic damber would give ballistic dampers 100% up time that is not ueless. someone tell me if I wrong but flouris still redusses heal received and is not effected by expertise or wz trama I .never actual tested the hunker down change is huge for mm that means u can hunker down to avoid a stun then sprint away then hunket down and keep a the aoe dr effects and reset ballistic dampers no small change and with sages getting egress flash bang will be a major tool to keep them in your scopes no more root and slows as far as fb for a defensice cool down when trying to escape and get away you not attacking which is why it a defensive tool lets be clear 5 energy is better than any of the above?

I made a case for any one of the things I said to be a good set bonus for pvp and a very specific case(which could be elaborated on if someone wonted to discuss) on how they effect the meta game no troll So my question is Does The combat team feel the set bonuses are a tool to balance pvp combat independently of pve If so as a sniper pvper I feel the sniper need help in the meta game vs classes with off heal abilities as there total dps and survivability tools are similar with the exception of losing and healing to full. See My list of propose set bonuses above and consider making one of them a 4 piese set bonus option.

  19. I think the set bonus question is a good one. For ex can we get a dps buff on orbital. or something else usefull like self heal while in cover. just a way to buff pvp survivability with out effecting pve. hunker down purges all hostial effects doge increases movement speed while active lower cool down on ineript one charge of ballistic damper anything that give some survivability offensive increased duration or trama effects lower energy of explosive probe ps no aoe on flash bang is a killer they should have reduced it range not aoe 10m range would have been fine now how do we get awayfrom focus fire. which is why we get focused as is defence screen is more single target which was fine
  20. forget the trolls nice feed back but my 2 questions. Can we get mixed faction RWZ arenas.... Better match making and stop the landslide flight from the weaker faction that make people not wont to play ranked because they know therir faction is weaker. Any chance in making Cores Den a place where matches can be arraged by checking in a group to a hut and and rewards are solely based on what the players give to the hut to give to the winners. Again mixed faction groups. AKA 2v2 3v3 4 v4 5 v5 6v6 arenas in a way
  21. Op I have had a vigilance since launch if you play it good you are a beast. I hated2.0 to 2.5 but 2.6 play like at launch until u have both leaps you can't understand how to play the class in pvp the 8% heal on the friendly leap is big. The damage is steady and reliable the dps does not suffer from kb and stuns root/ slow increase you next damage attack so it goes a long way the class is very very good it just takes some getting use to if you stick with it you will not be disappointed.
  22. By giving every class a experties bonus balancing would be easier I think if you keep it at the 36 point talent to start get it right and lower it from there. The goal I s to make more classes playable overall not to kill hybrids which may be an indictment of the performance of some of the specs where people go into other trees cuz there perered tree needs help to simplify if every ac has a % gain to expertise class balancing would be easyier.
  23. I was more concerned with making each spec viable in both phases of the game killing or restricting hybrids in pvp would be an effect not intent I ws think more making every ac viable overall hybrid debates can be done else where
