  1. Is the periodic damage in the vengeance tree being looked at for tweaks? I don't know of many build that promote 2 talent points to add 166 damage over 12 seconds. Our surviveability is feeling better now. The push then jump thing was a positive change to keep on target more. But it still feels like we aren't doing much while we're there. Seems like sentiments on the board echo this. Any input would be appreciated. Even if it's just "this is being evaluated" so I know that it isn't being ignored. Thank you!
  2. Please? It's rough enough trying to keep up with any one in pvp Comedations as it was. As a class it feels we are more gear dependant than any other, but to get pvp gear we have to hit arbitrary goals in PVP. I can't think of any other class this effects but us, powertechs and assassins. Im pretty sure Maras and snipers have a heal like ability. Sorcerers can still laugh as you wail on their shield, AoE hell on every one and heal just for the medal. I know there are plenty of juggs out there who already are well geared and can roll with some of the best and still get plenty of medals... But the ones on our way up? Kick us while we're down?
  3. Honestly? Remove the cool down from Force Charge altogether. At least for the less bursty tree of vengeance. I would also reduce some of the defensive talents and the immobilize effects to balance this out. They devs say that the DPS for juggs is where they want it to be right now. I think this may be on PVE battles or just comparing numbers on up-time. Having roughly the same damage output of a ranged class but half the opportunity to inflict that damage makes for some pretty depressing numbers. While I am sailing through the air 30% of the match, the range DPS is still hitting me. Same as when im stuck waiting on the other side of the fire in hutball. This would bring the greatest change to our numbers with the least amount of game changes. My 2 cents.
  4. I agree with most points of the OP. I hate the belts over the cloak look. Even if people wanted to explain this look away as a "style that Jedi and sith wore in the old republic" despite the years of source material saying otherwise, that's fine. It's a game and it's cool if they want to branch off in a new direction. But it would be nice if the option to look like we should according the source material the game was based on was in the game. Just a simple robe over the belt would do. Maybe a pair of pants for assassins? The belts make robes look like hoodies + skirts. It's not very "star wars" no matter the period. I do understand the difficulty for the game designers though. It's got to be tough to make a game with incremental upgrades to equipment give you a visual sense of accomplishment without veering too far from the source. But to leave out a basic look because of this seems odd.
  5. 35 healing sorc here. I was looking for some tips on how you deal with required movement during tough healing boss fights. There are a lot of scripted moments in boss fights that require the group to move away from discharging generators or flames from rockets. Some have big easy indicators that we need to move, but some are subtle. Like a certain mob turns to face some equipment he is going to blow up. But during these heal intensive fights, my eyes are glued to health bars or am immobile while casting a 2.5 sec heal. Should I be in melee with the others, or is AoE a big problem? It's easy enought to keep another player in sight and move to where they are, but when running with no ranged dps, it's thought to stick with one person. What techniques do you use to keep up with healing while watching for small indicators that we have to move?
  6. Would be a nice feature. Could be a useful credit sink in the game as well.
  7. I'm a healer who has a friend that plays BH. I have seen him use something like this with a cable. I always thought it was weird since he is ranged. Why don't warriors get this as well? Seems like it would benefit you more.
  8. I disagree with the OP. I think less exp from quest should be given. I would like to see more of a planet before 60% of the quests go green and grey.
  9. Not a bad list. I agree with 1 and 3. I think 2 ties in with character customization, more designs will come in time.
  10. Thank you. I think this game has huge potential if more people thought the same
  11. A couple of things: There is a lot of complaining, but very few realistic fixes suggested. Developers aren't going to do much with doomsayer posts that point out problems with no fixes. When asking developers to look at an aspect of the game, please keep in mind the resources they have available to address issues. Keep this in mind when you think about a time frame to make changes. MMOs are a big business. Changes to the game isn't going to be made automatically because joe schmo on the forum want it too. Not even if a thousand joe schmos want something to change, because face it, for every person complaining here there is 10,000 other players in the game happily playing away. You've seen the numbers. If a change needs to be made, it will be evaluated by a board first. Again, big business, they aren't going to make fly decisions. If they do decide to make a change, they will prioritize it with the other upcoming changes. There are only a limited number of developers assigned to address existing content. Most will be developing new content. With a limited number of developers comes a limited amount of time to address issues. It's not going to happen in a week. If you want this game to get better, then calmly state what you think needs to be fixed and offer a solution to fix it. If you just want the game to crash so everyone will go back to another game and play that instead, then keep crying doom and inciting people to quit before a reasonable timeframe for fixes can be reached. You're kidding yourself if you think it's going to be days and not months. Either invest in the game you want to succeed or don't. Your choice. Flame away.
  12. Have any developers commented on implementing this again? I agree this is needed. It seems like it would be possible to at least identify which helmets cause the clipping issues and only hide those.
  13. Don't all watch the video at once, you'll break the youtubes! I'll IM you each throughout the night and let you know when you can watch the video. (seriously though, very funny video )
