  1. Id rather wait 10 minutes to get in, and have lots and lots of people to form groups/pvp with, than to "spread it out a bit" and have 20 muppets online on fleet during peak time. They need to collapse your servers down into each other, as it may stop the game from haemorrhaging subscriptions. ASAP.
  2. What happened when i got my transfer to the Oceanic servers was that the legacy levels merged. I got 10 added to my old server's total. I do not know if the names get screwed around with, I chose the same obscure one on the new server when I created my alts.
  3. Some drops from boarding party have names like "Foundry Mercenaries..." I suspect your missing set pieces may be in the companion Flashpoint.
  4. I've enjoyed tanking this place on both my decently geared Powertech and my fresh 50 assassin tank. The key to the first guy is to keep moving, even if your group has ranged dps. I'm of the opinion that an Assassin/Shadow tank is probably the best for the robot boss due to the 45 second CD tech/force immunity that can negate the fallout from a missed incinerate interrupt totally. All the clears so far were pugged and did not have voice communication. You have normal mode if you want to stroll in there and toss about. The last boss drops Rakata and the Columi Main hand weapon. The same as the first 2 Hard mode Operations (which are actually easier than 4-maning this nightmare mode flashpoint). TL:DR - QQ Less and L2P. This game is easy enough: MORE CONTENT LIKE THIS PLEASE! I would also like to thank Bioware for actually making a challenging flashpoint, the others are quite mind numbing.
  5. It was advertised in the 1.2 notes, however I couldn't run BP HM twice in a row the day before yesterday. Not sure if it's a bug or if they rolled it back. I created a thread at the time asking the question, which has 0 replies.
  6. I'm attempting to run BP HM once again for my gloves, after running it earlier today. The lad is telling me to come back later. I thought they removed lockouts from FPs. Is this a bug or are they back?
  7. Actually been playing MMOs since 2004 and so far only WoW did that at first. WoW is every MMO is it?
  8. Hey if you want devs that listen go play Rift. Then again that community isn't nowhere near as squalid as this one. I wouldn't listen to this community either.
  9. Eulogy: I discovered this spec late in my leveling, apparently when it is said to bloom. It was great killing mobs, and pubs. It gave me the satisfaction of being durable, while also rail shooting so much it gave me RSI. Excellent mitigation and damage, you will be missed.
  10. Western NSW player here. I am fine with the servers going down all at the same time, I don't really care when either. If they left ours up while the yank ones go down (or vice versa) the online servers would be flooded with people wanting to play. Think of the spam! If this is your first MMO, then the precedent was set by the still currently largest MMO ever made, World of Warcraft. These downtimes are a necessary cleanup operation so the server runs as well as it can for the rest of the days of the week. BW and EA (see: Devil) even gave us LOCAL SERVERS, something no other MMO that I've played has done. In conclusion, if you don't like this aspect of this game, and MMO's in general, you are free to **** off and play Bastion for the 5th time. If you can swallow the very tiny and sweet pill you also get to wash it down with a big glass of "when I return, I will have 30ms latency in an MMO" juice. Perhaps its these newschool MMO players that post these mandatory before patch whinge threads, and don't know how sweet that is compared to the alternative.
  11. Adding my voice to the outcry. This really is pathetic, the servers are there, the low level zones are flooded with what are 95% Alts of people who have highly advanced (think, 2 months) characters stuck on 250-450 latency servers. Why was this not coordinated? Why not show the slightest bit of professionalism, and perform something properly? Surely some ******** in marketing and research must have stood up at a board meeting and said what this delay would do? Anyone that plays MMOs, or even has a passing casual interest in them, has got the game already from Amazon or a similar website. Those same people, who are playing right now and supporting your game, are the ones being ****ed over by this hair-brained decision.
