Can't log into my account, says patcher is unavailable

BioWare has openly stated, before the release of this game, that they will need 500,000 active subscribers in order to make a profit from this game. Stating something like that means that 500k is the minimum in order to keep EA under their feet, and their pockets full. Since this game has over 1.7mil subscribers, who are active.. I don't see it going bye bye anytime soon

I don't feel like playing Juggy, so I was wondering how well an end game Sin can tank?

I had my Centurion/Champion set and had to trade it all for that crappy Recruit set. I was able to keep up with most of the people on my server, but now I am dying left and right. It's as if the patch threw a lot of us in the water, and didn't even throw us a life saver. I am a Merc healer, but I may as well not even heal because my heals don't do crap anymore. I'm lucky to get a 2k crit now, and before I was able to crit for almost 3k. I might as well PvP naked because I just have no survivability now. You gave previous Battlemasters the option to upgrade, but then you give the rest of us a down grade? Was it your intentions to separate us even further? It wouldn't be so bad, I guess, if everyone was working towards that War Hero set.. But we already have people in full War Hero pounding away at us "Recruits"... I complain because before I was doing pretty good, but now I can't even survive to save my own life.. let alone my team's. It's just discouraging

I'm losing 2k HP, 200 aim, but am gaining 300 expertise with the new pvp set. is gaining all that expertise worth losing the other stats?

I play a Merc healer, and if I buy the new starter pvp set it will lower my endurance and aim, but it will increase my expertise by alot more. So which is more worth it?

I'm at a hotel and everytime I try to login it says "Unable to contact patch server, please visit forums for blah blah blah" Funny thing is I am able to play my other MMOs just fine. So does SWTOR have an internet requirement?

I was just about to make a post like this, actually.. It's why I came to forums I am playing on The Constant, and just now rolled an alt on The Fatman... WOW the difference is insane. Korriban alone has over 100+ people in it. But I'd honestly hate to leave my BH decked in full PvP regalia to start all the way over. I hope to see transfers available soon
