  1. I avoid flashpoints because I am not the best skilled player and I don't want a repeat of the nerd rage, yelling, e-peen measuring, and just overall drama from the "seriously elite" players that I experienced while i was doing random heroics in wow. It takes me time to learn the fights and what to expect, but the people that you group with expect you to know that THEY know immediately and your dps must be in the hundreds of thousands or they yell about that too. Since a game is supposed to be fun, I only do fun things. Eventually, I will get there. Just not looking forward to it.
  2. I think i like the fact we can choose our own music the best.
  3. People have no problem killing me. So I think you are referring to Commandos that know how to play their class. Why, there are even other people that know how to play their class, too! Guess what they do all day? :rolleyes:Kill Commandos.
  4. When i think OP, i dont think operative.. When I close my eyes, I see endless purple lightning that stuns you, immediately after a knockback that stuns you. Oh and speed walking through fire. Now that is OP. Why is no one mentioning that?
  5. Sometimes the game winning moves are not healing or damage measuring. Its killing the RIGHT person or PASSING THE BALL. Shoot, we have a thread running right now about healers that hurt and heal themselves just to pad their score. Or what about the knuckle heads that NEVER follow the ball, but instead they run around and fight in the worst places just to have a lot of kills or heavy damage. How are they helping? I have been in matches where this player may have really made a decision that won the warzone for us (or just saved my butt). I voted for that guy. Let us vote for who we want.
  6. if there is a cheap, lazy way to do it, the players will find it.. Thats why Ilum is loaded with folks camping ONE armament node. Looks like bunch of chickens waiting to hatch. But, the alternative is nascar racing around for nodes and not finding any that are not being camped. But, I digress. First of all, healers rolled their characters because they like to heal. I just feel that healers should not be left alone at a base. How are they doing what they are made for? Low levels probably would do a lot better standing there and calling incoming attacks out. I bet, if that healer was mobile, it would make it a lot easier to take other nodes since your team would not die as fast. I sat at a node yesterday and saw like 6 members of my team try to take the middle node. But there was no healer with them. I am a merc so i couldnt get more than 2 medals because i had to stay and hold.
  7. I have been watching him for the last couple of days. Lots of nice streams on Twitch. This guy talks to ya.
  8. I like it. Makes me feel like I am really doing something and i like the views.
  9. How early did they warn us? I must have missed it. I actually took a nap today so i could pvp late with my friends. LOL. Oh well.
  10. I really like this idea. Armstech. I would love a nice barrel that only I could have.
  11. Those 7-8k crits that were mentioned came from a video. If you look at the buffs the guy had, you will see that those dont happen often in most regular gameplay
  12. It didnt seem bad at all. At least we ended up fighting. I didnt see a huge valor increase. We were at the republic base and even tho they were outnumbered they still had a one shot cannon on thier side. Looked like the Republic was having fun too. I know they were killing me left and right.
  13. I came here to research pvp rogue-like builds because I suck at healing. I really appreciate this thread because NOW I just might try to stick with it a bit longer and see if I can work it out.
  14. I really hope there is someone else out there that can see what I mean by this post. It is hard to remember, but this is a game. Money is not real. The problems are not real. People get all caught up in the economy, and gear and such and start feeling like they "have" to do something to "keep up" with the others. You don't have to constantly log into the game to check on it, unless you want to. That is what ruined wow for me. Everyone rushing and making the game like a job. Sitting in one town, never going outside because they just queue for this and queue for that. This game is new. We actually walk around. When you are on your travels, its refreshing to see another player throw a hello heal at you as he goes along his way. Or meeting up to do a group quest. Not everyone cooped up in one town standing next to the mailbox. Clicking on queues. Don't get me wrong. I am not telling anyone how to play. Everyone has their own style. But, please don't do this to Star Wars, man. Please don't take the fun out of the game for the rest of us with your economy how-to's, damage meters, add-ons and such. Pretty soon, someone will nerd it out and we will be "told" what to wear and how to play. Why can't we just play?
